"My name is Zoisite."
Ami had to use all
her willpower to restrain herself from screaming and running in the opposite
directon. She, however, couldn't stop herself from going pale. That name,
that name that represented someone completly evil.
Zoisite of course
had no clue what was going on. "Did I say something wrong?"
Ami stared at the
man in disbelief. He didn't remember a single thing. Not one thing. Didn't
he realize that she was his enemy?
Ami was silent.
Zoisite shrugged and
said, "Well, I am going to go to my room. If there is anything you need,
give me a shout." He turned his back and left.
Ami still stood there,
recovering from the shock. She mentally scolded herself for not recognizing
Zoisite. How could she NOT recognize Zoisite? That same blond hair in a
ponytail. Those same features. That arrogence.
Who could miss his
face, his hair, his....his...charm....WAIT A MINUTE!
Where did charm come
from? Okay, sure! Trying to kill the Sailor Senshi surely is charming!
Not to mention all thoses rude things he said.
Ami had half the mind
to take out her transformation stick and freeze his ass up, but felt quite
reluctant about it. She decided not to, but just in case, just keep him
under close surveilance. "Wait!" Ami yelled.
Zoisite, halfway out
of the door, stopped and glanced at Ami. He tilted his mouth upwards to
form a grin. "I really didn't expect you to shout," he said smugly with
a smile.
Ami drew in a deep
breath and forced on a brilliant smile. "I would really like to know about
the colleges around here. Are they good?"
Zoisite smiled back
but something was brewing in his mind. He felt disturbed being in the presence
of this girl regardless of how beautiful and innocent she was. She seemed
that she represented the sea itself. Calm and beautiful.
Zoisite shook the
silly thought out of his mind and stepped towards the girl. He grinned
and said, "Yes the colleges here are good. I would personally reccommend
Duke or Stanford if you are into basketball."
Ami tilted her head
a bit and frowned inwardly. Zoisite was too nice and pleasent to her. She
thought that he would REALLY be impatient and rude. Maybe this one was
an incarnate or a clone of Zoisite. Ami was frustrated. She sometimes
wished that she had Mars's gift of reading people. This was one of those
times.
"No thank you," she
finally replied. "Are there any medical colleges that I could go to study
about medicine?"
Zoisite thought about
this a bit. "Yes... I forgot the name of the college," Zoisite lied. He
really knew the college name. He just wanted to spend time with this beautiful
water nymph and get to know her. And why of his uneasiness.
Ami's face fell and
so did Zoisite's heart. "I could take you there tommorrow, if you want
I mean."
Ami's eyes brightened.
"Yes!" she cried enthusiastically. She felt a bit reluctant but at least
she could keep an eye on Zoisite.
Zoisite took his time
to study her. She was beautiful. IS beautiful, Zoisite corrected.
Blue hair. Deep blue eyes. Gorgeous lips. A pert little nose. Smooth ivory
skin. Zoisite wondered what it would be like to kiss her. Zoisite
suddenly shivered and excused the thought. He didn't want this innocent
angel to get involved what he was in. She would be in danger. Her life
with one BANG! of a gun would end. No. He would have to distance himself
from her.
Zoisite snapped out
of his thoughts and glanced at the blue haired beauty. Just the thought
of losing this girl because of all the stuff he is going through right
now pained him deeply. He quickly shadowed his sadness with an air of fake
happiness. He painfully moved away from Ami's gentle touch and smiled as
brightly as he could.
"Well then, I'll see
you tommorrow. Get some rest. New York is a busy place and has lot's of
sights to see."
Ami grinned and nodded.
"Yes. Thank you. Good bye." She turned and headed out. Even with her back
turned to Zoisite, she still kept on her happy smile. Her heart thumped
and there was a tingling yet warm feeling in the pit of her stomach.
What could this feeling be? she mused.
Zoisite put his hand
on his hips and followed Ami with his emerald eyes. She entranced him like
no one else had. Could it be love...? Zoisite thought. After
a few moments of thinking, he laughed and shook his head. Lord, what
was he thinking? Cheerfully, Zoisite walked out of the room with his proud
head up high. His worries came later.
This wasn't much of a cliffhanger.... I hope!
