Jordan

Jordan is located in the Middle East, northwest of Saudi Arabia. The population is 6,053,193 (July 2007 est.). The area is slightly smaller than Indiana.

The capital is (Amman), and the currency is Jordanian diner “Jod”. The type of language they use is Arabic (official,) but English widely understood among upper and middle classes. The National Holiday is Independence Day, 25 May (1946).

Jordan’s climate is mostly arid desert, with a rainy season in west November to April. Natural Resources are phosphates, potash, and shale oil.

GDP per capita, which is how much money a person earns is, $5,100 (2006 est.).The exports are clothing, pharmaceutions, potash, phosphates, fertilizers, and vegetables. The imports are, crude oil, textile fabrics, machinery, transport equipment, and manufactured goods.

The reason why I picked this country is because, it is my sister's name. The most interesting fact to me is the currency; it is Jordanian diner “Jod”.

India is located in southern Asia bordering the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, between Burma and Pakistan. Population is 1,129,866,154 (July 2007 est.). Area is slightly more than one third the size of the U.S.


The capital is New Delhi. The national holiday is Republic Day, 26 January (1950). English enjoys associate status but is the most important; language for national, political, and commercial communication, Hindi is the national language and tongue of 30% of the people, there are 14 other language official languages Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Malayalam, Canada, Ore, Punjabi, Assamese, Kashmiri, Sindhi, and Sanskrit, Hindi/Urdu spoken widely throughout northern India but is not an official language.

The government type is a federal republic. The natural resources are coal (fourth-largest reserves in the world) iron ore, manganese, bauxite and titanium ore. The climate is varies from tropical monsoons in south to temperate in north.


G.D.P Per capital is which is the wait of money the average person earns per year is 1,800 dollars. The imports commodities are crude oil, machinery, genes, fertilizer, and chemicals.


I picked this country because it had a cool flag. The flag was cool because I really did like the colors. It looked like there was a sun flower right in the middle of it.

Saudi Arabia is located in the Middle East bordering the Persian gulf, and the Red Sea. The population of Saudi Arabia is 27,601,038 and Saudi Arabia is slightly more than one-fifth the size of the US.

Saudi Arabia `s capital is Riyadh. Their national holiday is unification of the kingdom, it started September 23,1932. Their type of government is the monarchy. They speak Arabic. Their currency is the Saudi Riyal. Saudi Arabia’s climate is really harsh. Saudi Arabia desserts has extreme tempetures

Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Islam and home of Islam’s two holiest shrines Mecca and Medina.Saudi Arabia’s exports commodities are petroleum and petroleum products. Saudi Arabia’s import commodities are machinery and equipment, foodstuffs, chemicals, motor vehicles, textiles. Imports are goods that are shipped to them. Exports are goods that they ship to other countries.

I chose to do research on this country because I never heard of it before .I also chose it because the flag looks cool., and that’s what I know about Saudi Arabia.
