Currently, I am a student at Elon University working towards my Middle School Education Undergraduate Degree with concentrations in math and science education. Elon has an amazing education program. My favorite part of my major so far is getting to do practicums where I go into classrooms and work with students. If I am lucky, the teachers that I work with sometimes let me teach at least parts of lessons.
Since I am still working on my undergraduate, I have not yet started my teaching career. However, I aspire to be a middle school science teacher and enjoy working in classrooms around the Burlington area to help me prepare.
I am have lived in North Carolina for ten years, the last seven in Cary. I knew I wanted to go to a small private college and stay in state and I quickly fell in love with Elon. My parents live in Cary and only have my younger brother left in the house. I also have a twin who is in the Navy.
