| Hey there! First of all, congratulations for finding that secret link to this page. You're pretty sharp. To reward you, I think I'll impart unto you some of my wisdom. These are my five laws of life. Obey them well. |
| SAM'S FIVE LAWS OF LIFE: 1. Never try to deceive yourself. Keep an accurate evaluation of your strengths and weaknesses in your mind at all times. This will help you maintain confidence in the things you're good at, and humility in the areas you're lacking in. In addition, you should never undertake a task you know you cannot accomplish; if you do, you will only succeed in frustrating yourself and disappointing others. 2. Learn from everything you experience. There is a moral in every story; a lesson in every defeat. When you are defeated, rather than let yourself be blinded by anger or sadness, think: "what can I learn from this loss?" Find the answer to this question, and absorb it until it is a part of your knowledge. 3. Always have a backup plan. Never get caught with your pants down. If your primary course of action should fail, you should always have a secondary or tertiary course of action to fall back on. 4. Never let another human being surprise you. Despite what they like to think, humans are a very predictable species. With a little foresight, it's easy to possess a full and detailed understanding of them. It's not too difficult to predict (correctly) every action of the average human being. 5. Illegitimus Noncarborundum. (Don't let the bastards get to you.) At the end of the day, humans are worthless, decadent, imbecilic creatures. Don't let anything they say or do bother you. Learn to let it roll off of you, like the water off of a duck. |

| I've got a bonus question for you, too. I've raised two Pok�mon teams in my time, one in Pok�mon Blue and one in Pok�mon Gold, and I also assign each of my Pok�mon teams a leader. The question is, which Pok�mon is the leader of my Gold team? Email me the correct answer and I'll give you a cookie. Seriously. If you're the first to get it right I'll even throw in another cookie. Two cookies! And you thought I wasn't generous! If you don't know, have a guess...go on, you have a 1 in 251 chance of getting it right... Oh yeah, and the limit is one guess per person per day. People sending me a list of all 251 Pok�mon in Gold and Silver will just be laughed at. |
