-Highlights of Michael Jordan from his prime are infinetly more entertaining than watching him miss dunks and layups on his way to 9 of 27 shooting in the All-Star Game.
-Poor Z. Even Ben Wallace managed to score.
-Isiah Thomas is a bitch. Despite their ups and downs, Boston is a competitor in the East against Thomas' Pacers. Punking Pierce and Walker with minutes was f'ed up and I hope they take it out on the Pacers next time they meet.
-Perhaps my favorite moment in the All-Star game was the Garnett, Duncan, Shaq, Yao line-up. Dirk at the pont would hae been the cherry on top, but it was still fun watching the East being forced to jack up jumpers from the outside.
-The inadvertant horn during the three-point contest is a clear sign that the league is out to get the Kings.
-Likewise, David Stern's efforts to push the first round of the playoffs to 7 games seems to prove the leagues love affair with the Lakers.
-Vince Carter got shafted. He had a no win situation, exacerbated by Isiah Thomas, TMac, and AI. I am surprised they didn't try and make him go down on Jordan at halftime. It was all so fucked up. He certainly didn't vote himself on to the All-Star team. I really hope that Vince's body can match his willpower and he comes back to serve everyone up.
-As much as I hate Shaq, his play as point-center did make me chuckle.
-As suggested by a reader, the All-Star weekend should have a 3-on-3 tournament where the players make their teams. Seriously, that would be so much sicker than watching Justin Timberlake slut a bunch of celebs.
-Jason Richardson clearly has ninja training.
-Michael Jordan is the greatest person ever. I say so because I heard if you don't say it, you go to hell.
-Shockingly, Atlanta's crowd didn't seem to be terribly into basketball.
-The NBA needs far more games that end 155-145.

-Jason Richardson ruined Carlos Boozer by bouncing the ball off his head and draining a three. It was funny because one guy made the other guy look like a dumb ass.
-The first half of the Rookie Challenge made me feel like I was watching an And1 game. The second half made me wish I was watching an And1 game.
-I still don't know how the post office misplaced my invitation to the All-Star festivities.
-The Warroirs have three outstanding sophomores. Or at least two outstanding sophomores and one goobery white guy. Although Troy Murphey seriously could be the next Brad Miller.
-Speaking of Brad Miller, I was hoping he and Shaq would fight, but they didn't.
-Speaking of fights, Ron Artest threw down with James Posey at a party. Ron Artest in a fight -- shocking.
-Kevin Garnett needs to get a stable of ho's because he is a fucking pimp.
-The All-Star Weekend was pretty solid.
