SCAGGS' NBA SUPERSITE
Analysis - 1/27/03 - Despite a dismal record, the Denver Nuggets have surprised teams with the intense defensive effort they bring every night giving hope for the future of the franchise. The Bucs won a national title with their stifling D and a piss-poor offence, so maybe Denver is not far behind. Note that on November 16, 2002 the Nuggets scored 53 points against the Detroit Pistons while on January 26, 2003, the Bucs won the title game by scoring 48. That is five points less than the Nuggets and yet still worth a world championship. Someone tried to explain to me something about Milwaukee and Tampa Bay, and the difference between an FL and an BA, but I told them to just look at the numbers. 5 MORE points! I think it is safe to say Denver will win a championship next year.
