JAMES BROWN
He Emerged From humble beginnings and strode in with a brand new bag. James Brown, known by catchy slogans
such as "The Hardest Working Man In Showbusiness",
"Soul Brother No.1" but mostly Identifiable as "The
Godfather Of Soul". James Brown was born in Augusta Georgia and has had a great life. He began to display
musical ability by humming sons on his Dad's Harmonica.
His Dad surprised him with his own Organ and everyday after school he practiced on it. He also learned to play
guitar. His early influences came from Gospel music at
a local church. But then he honed his skill in Rhythm & Blues. He joined a local group that quickley became
known as "The Flames". When James Brown turned 19
he was left to carry on alone because of payment disputes
so he formed a new group "James Brown and The Famous Flames" As he grew he kept pumping out hit
after greatest hit including:
-Say It Loud (I'm Black & I'm Proud)
-Mother Popcorn
-I Got You (I Feel Good)
-Papa's Got A Brand New Bag (Parts I & II)
-Please Please Please
