Microfluidic Fuel Cell based on Laminar Flow
While most fuel cells employ a physical barrier to separate the fuel and oxidant, the
microfluidic fuel cell developed at Illinois utilizes multi-stream laminar flow to accomplish
the same task.

Big Hopes For Tiny, New Hydrogen Storage Material
The PNNL team used a nanoscale mesoporous silica material as scaffolding for ammonia borane
to achieve a high rate of hydrogen release at a lower temperature than is found at the conventional
scale.
