Here you can see my Apexi SAFC, I use this to only slightly adjust my fueling as it does not modify the timing. Since this is a piggyback unit and it simply fools the factory ECU, it is too dangerous to rely on this for any real tuning, but for my needs it works fine.
After I breakin the engine, the empty spot next the SAFC will be replaced with an Apexi AVCR to control boost. I figure to run 9 psi on a daily basis and 12 psi for max boost.
Here you can see my A/F ratio meter, however this is not for wideband use or even poper tuning. I have big plans for the future, which include an EMS, most likely Autotronic. And a computer system to monitor multiple temperature locations as well as A/F ratio, EGT and knock.
Lastly is my HKS FCD, which allows me to raise the boost, with the limited fuel and timing maps on the ECU this can be extremely dangerous and should be done with careful consideration. |
