| Merkur is German for Mercury and they only made my car for 4 years and I believe that only 47000 of them were shipped to North America/Canada and I love this car and a lot of my friends do to. It was made basically for rally and the autobahn so if that says anything to you :) it has a 2.3Turbocharged engine in it with lots of turbo and has moonroof/sunroof 2 door fold down backseats hatchback heated leather seats and many other luxuries but my car does not have the front leather seats :( but in all do respects the Merkur deserves its own page and not to be shared with domestic fords for this is one awsome car. | |||||||||||
