  • 'Scene One - A Lifetime Full Of Dissapointments'

We open up our roleplay in Atlanta, Georgia, where Final Cut took place this past week, where an extraordinary main event took place, and all else in front of it. We open up our scene in the same Phillips Arena, where we see Mr. Man standing in front of the blown up "Final Cut" poster, except, no interviewer in sight.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Too some, 7 is the lucky number that helps them win everything their hearts desire. Too some, 7 is the lucky number that helps them win in a casino, either in a slots machine, or at craps. But too me, 7 is more special than getting that quick payoff at a casino, or getting that big win and getting all you want, too me it represents a craeer defining moment. See, that career defining moment happened tonight, it happened tonight when I did what many thought was impossible, when I did something that no one thought I would do. See, tonight, I beat my 7th former World Heavyweight Champion, and not only did I beat any former World Champion, not only did I beat any normal man, I beat a man who is sick and vicious as anyone, I beat someone who has made a career of beating the opposition, and I most of all, I beat a man who has made his career out of being one of the most condisending people in wrestling. Tonight, not only did I beat a man with all those things, but I also beat one of the top wrestlers in the world, tonight, I beat Shawn Ashlocke."

Mr. Man just smiles at the camera, looking around with his hair seemingly wet, and looking a bit winded.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"See, tonight, I did what I promised this whole time, I did what many thought would be lies, and I not only beat Shawn Ashlocke, I destroyed him. And, while I'm not one too say or even suggest 'I told you so', but really, I told you so. See, while nobody in the back had any faith in me, I showed them all that, not only do I have the right skill, the right power, the right move-set, and the right look, but I am also a main eventer. That's what I am, a main eventer, a main eventer who has gone from the shadows of the mid-card, the X-Division title, the All-American title, to a man who proved his worth. And, as I promised, this isn't exactly a bum deal for Shawn Ashlocke, this is actually a great deal for the man, because now, he's gonna have all the videos, everyone remembering him as the man who put Mr. Man over. He was lucky number 7, a number that has never been used, and I doubt it will ever be used again, and by beating him, I proved to the world just exactly who I was. By beating Shawn Ashlocke, I showed that I am ready for the main event, that I still deserve to be number one contender, and that I should be at the top, where my name is calling me at."

Mr. Man smiles again, the camera keeping on him, and going down to his chest, where he now has some street clothes on, showing it's been a while since he wrestled.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"But, enough of me embarassing and sending Shawn Ashlocke back to the backyard quality promotion he belongs too, because, I'm here to talk to you about my future. See, after just coming back from Jenna Jameson's office tonight, she gave me a big peice of news that is supposed to make me piss out gold. For Xplosion next week, she booked me in a match with an opponent who's "legendary" in this company, a man who has made his "contributions" for himself, a man who has no problem "working" his ass off. But, it's not anyone you'd really expect, considering the depth of the Xplosion roster. Instead of booking me with some chick, who happens to have a bigger dick than about three-thirds of the population of Earth. Instead of booking me with some washed-up, 5-time World Champion has-been who's only goal is too toot his own ego instead of actually making the future. Instead of all the Pretty Boy Taylor's, or even our beloved, egotistical, lazy, World Heavyweight Champion, she decides to book me against a man with no morals, no fan base, and no charisma, a man who I "know very well", her words, not mine, against, Chris Steel."

Mr. Man just shaked his head, in faux embarassment, yet, a chummy smile on his face.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"See, while this booking may be the worst booking ever, which isn't shocking considering I am me and this company hates me for some reason, but, believe it or not, I can understand her motives for trying to make this match. Chris Steel has announced a "Retirement Tour" of some sorts, trying to hold out challenges against some of his biggest opponents ever. So, I can understand being in this match with Chris Steel, as, I'm not only one of the greatest wrestlers he's faced, I'm probably his greatest opponent. Without me, two years ago, Chris Steel would be nothing more than some mid-card talent who this company could care less about. Chris Steel would be where someone like Alex Shelley and Eli Hogan is right now, main eventing Download, main eventing HeatWave, being a jobber to the stars, and doing nothing but being a crap talent. Without me carry Chris Steel in all our matches in 2006, without me putting Chris Steel over, and without me giving Chris Steel his biggest matches of his life, Chris Steel would be nothing more than the Val Venis of the eWe."

Mr. Man smirks at the camera, his hair still wet, still looking happy and calm about his victory earlier in the night.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Without me putting over Chris Steel in our epic battles that kept everyone wanting more, Chris Steel would be nothing. But now, nearly two years later, we see the effect that has happened between Chris Steel and myself. Despite him winning our popular feud, and coming out on top of it, despite me trying my damn best to put him over, all the while making a name out of myself, he did nothing to capitilize on his big push. Instead, he goes to WrestleMania 3, a spot where I could have been, and decides to leave the company. He comes back, the same love-fest as always, and loses to LAW. Then, after week after week of actually rebuilding himself, he loses a World title match, a match that I rightfully deserve, and doesn't even make the effort to care anymore. See, people enjoy calling Chris Steel a company man, but the fact is, he's done nothing to deserve this "Retirement Tour", he's done nothing to get his 20,000 fail World title shots, and he's done nothing to even get to step into the ring with me, and no matter what you may think, he shouldn't even be on the Xplosion roster."

Mr. Man now has a chuckle on his face, showing he has found something humorous and won't be afraid of telling us.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"See, Chris Steel won our feud, he was able to call himself the better man, and to this day, he can still say that, but since then, what has he done special? What has he accomplished that has set him apart from the rest? What has he done that can say he's been made a superstar in this company? What, maybe a couple of Mid-Eastern title reigns, maybe one or two Television title reigns, maybe, just maybe a Pure Title reign, I really do not know, but, it's practically nothing. While Chris Steel won our war, I'm the on that capitilized on it. After our little war ended, I became the popular one around here, I was the one able to show my stuff by combining my charisma, my technical skill, my high-flying power and making it my niche. And while he was out, showing his little pornography and corrupting little kids in the audience, I was out here, winning two All-American titles, which was unprecedented, I was out here going into the King of Xtreme, I was out here going to the Money in the Bank match at WrestleMania, I was out here winning, and becoming one of the longest reigning X-Division Champions, and most recently beating 7 former World champion. See, he won the war, but I got the recognition."

Mr. Man keeps his little smirkish grin on his face, all smiles around the Final Cut poster, this pre-taped promo going on.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Two years ago, who would have thought that I would be out here, beating main eventers left and right, making myself the main reason to watch Xplosion, being one of the most unrecognized talents on this roster, all the while Chris Steel doing short of nothing but whoring out his name to get a few cheap pops. See, Chris, two years ago, people would have thought you'd be in my shoes right now, being the top of the card, being the main reasons people watch this show, and I'd be where you are, a cookie cutter wrestler who can't even show the same spark he had when he was a rookie. Chris, what you have done in two years is nothing, all your acheivments mean nothing, and despite you being one of my toughest opponents at a time, I have since surpassed you, I have since made myself a winner, I have since made myself main event material. And I know, for a fact, that you are gonna keep yourself living in the past, where you beat me left and right, but the fact is, right now, I am better than you. Right now, I am more technically skilled than you, I am faster than you, I am stronger than you, I am a bigger name than you, I am more charismatic than you, and come Wednesday night, I will beat you, and I will make your "Retirement Tour" exactly what you made your whole career, worthless."

Mr. Man laughs, a bit evil, before turning it into a smirk and walking off, leaving us off to this pre-taped promo, as he leaves Final Cut in Atlanta, Georgia to go to Missoula, Washington for the next edition of Xplosion, all as the camera fades out and the scene ends.
