  • 'Scene One - New Breed Unleashed'

We open up this roleplay in the Biggest Smalled City in the World, where this weeks edition of Xplosion will take place, known as Reno, Nevada. That's where we see Mr. Man arriving into the arena, his bag over his shoulder and X-Division title cupped in hand, as he is shown wearing some street clothes. That's where we see Xplosion's Kelly walking up to him, with a microphone in hand.

    Kelly
"Mr. Man, can I get a couple of words from you tonight, about your match against Eighteen tonight?"

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Fine, Kelly, what would you like to ask me here about Eighteen that hasn't been asked all week?"

    Kelly
"Well, tonight, you're in the first round of the Battle for the Gold tournament, and you have the unfortunate task of trying to get past Eighteen, any thoughts?"

Mr. Man looks at Kelly with a bit of a smirk, but a mix of a frown on his face, as he looks a bit clueless as to what's happening.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Kelly, sometimes in life, people have to face their fears and realize when somethings going to happen, and when it's going to happen there. Now, let's go back to April 22, 2007, to the Toronto SkyDome, when in front of 69,000 people, I had my chance to prove to the world I was ready to be in the main event. And in the Money in the Bank ladder match, I was basically untouchable, but that all ended when Eighteen burned me. And, Kelly, really since then, I haven't gotten over it, the fact that my career could have ended, just as I was coming to the peak of my career. And really, what else could I do, but wait for another moment like I had, like this one?"

    Kelly
"But, we all know that Eighteen is now easy task to get past, and that it could be nearly impossible for you to reach the semi-finals of this tournament tonight."

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"See, Kelly, I know this, and this past week, I've been trying to put together some sort of offense to see if I can counter her. But Kelly, I realize that she is going to be tough, because, as washed up, and as old as she may be, she's still able to put up a good fight, and she'll still be able to bring me down. However, some would say she is impssible to defeat, and there's some wualities where you may be right, but mostly, you're wrong. Because, let's face it, look at the people who they said "were impossible to defeat" and all summer long, I defeated them. However, the difference between them, and Eighteen, is that none of them have been this dominate as long as she has."

    Kelly
"Well, there have been some wrestlers and staff alike in the back, that have been calling this match "Legend vs. Future" do you think this can interrprate that truth?"

Mr. Man looks with a bigger smirk now, as he looks over at Kelly, still holding his X-Division title next to him.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Kelly, you are right about that, that's what this match should be called. But the thing is, what has Eighteen done lately to be considered legendary? Now, I get it, she's a future Hall of Famer, and blah blah blah, but the fact is, what ahs she done in the past year to be considered legendary? She's had multiple title shots, and has had multiple oppurtunities, but really, she's unpredictable in her behavior. Now, people have called me too cocky, and too truthful and controversial, but they've also called me honest. And my honest opinion shows that sicne coming to Xplosion, you don't if one week she's going to show or not, and really, as legendary as she is, that proves that she tends to elt her ego get in the way."

    Kelly
"Well, Eighteen did say in a recent interview with Matt Peterson, that you have been choking more than she has at big match situations, any thoughts on that?"

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Kelly, it is unfortunate for me to say this, but really, Eighteen is right about what she said. See, I placed 8th in the King of Xtreme tournament, because I choked in my match against White Tiger. While, the Money in the Bank match at WrestleMania wasn't entirely my fault, I did get caught in the line of duty, and got set on fire. But, what she failed to mention, that unlike her, I didn't get try after try to beat Cameron Hayden, it took me one try, and I beat him. And unlike her, I was able to defeat Dan Taylor, in a match where no gimmick was involved. That, plus the fact that the past two pay-per-views, she's had title matches, and lost, while I was able to retain my X-Division title. The fact is, like most women in the world, she's used to choking."

Mr. Man looks a bit regretful at that comment, but keeps his composure, as Kelly seems to have an offended look on her face.

    Kelly
"Anyways, tonight you have a big shot ahead of you to face Cameron Hayden at Halloween Havoc in your first World title match, you think you could pull it off?"

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Kelly, for a long time, there has been doubt on my mind as to whether or not I will be able to ever beat Eighteen, but really, I learned something. See, for the past 3 months, since winning the X-Division championship, I realized that, despite my opponent, I know I could out-wrestle them. See, Eighteen said something that really pissed me off, she said no matter what happens she is "three times better than me". Kelly, you and I both know how false that is, because let's face it, this past year has been my year, I've beaten 5 former World champions, and while Eighteen has been pretty decent, she is still not that great. And really, Eighteen, she needs to know, that, while I am scraed to death of her, I know for a fact that she isn't better than me. I'm the Best in the Business, no one can be better than me."

    Kelly
"Well, I know that tonight on Xplosion, you and Eighteen could put a fantastic match, and if you happen to get past Eighteen tonight, who would you rather face in the semi-finals, Dan Taylor or Danny Danger?"

Mr. Man ponders that question a bit, before finally coming with an answer to it.

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Really Kelly, if I had to choose who I wanted to face, I'd say Danny Danger. Because, while me and him may be friends, I have never had the privelage of beating him in a match. And really, I'd like to shut him up in a friendly battle about how he beat me in a match. But, see, I don't like to look to the future, no pun intended, because when I face with Eighteen, I'ma show her just how washed up she is, and how she may be good right now, but just like always, she'll show her unreliable side, when I beat her cleanly, like everyone has before her. And Kelly, I'm sure she's heard this before, but I know that compared to me, Eighteen isn't as great as she thinks she is."

    Kelly
"Well, I guess that does it for us, and I want to give you good luck in your match tonight against Eighteen, and hope you do win the tournament."

    'The Future' Mr. Man
"Thank you Kelly, and I promise you, I will not dissapoint. Now, Eighteen, I wanna leave you with the last words from me, and I hope you realize I'm not as easy as I look. Because, believe me, I've beaten people bigger than you, badder than you, and I know for a fact, that you may be tough, but let's face it Eighteen, I'm tougher. See, unlike you, I'm able to call myself the Champion of Champions, I'm able to call myself the Best in the Business, and I'm able to call myself the Future of Sports entertainment, but most importantly, I have the skills and the charisma to be called a Legend in the Making, and Eighteen, I want you to run for your life, because I've been waiting for the moment to finally get revenge from WrestleMania. So Eighteen, be prepared, because from this day forward, the New Breed has come unleashed bitch."

Mr. Man then walks away from Kelly, as the camera shot focuses on him walking to his locker room, as he drags his X-Division title, ending this scene and roleplay.
