We open up our scene at a house show in Battle Creek, Michigan, just days after the following Xplosion broadcast. That's when we see some green neon lights flashing around the arena, as "Almost Over" plays over the speaker system, and just then, we see Mr. Man walk out from the backstage area, his X-Division title over his shoulder and all. Mr. Man continues walking, as he heads down the ramp, with pictures being taken all over the arena. Eventually, Mr. Man finally makes it down the ramp, and into the ring, where he raises up his X-Division title, before finally grabbing a microphone, waiting for his music, and the crowd, to quiet down.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"My whole career has been built on that one moment in life, where you know good things may finally be happening for you. That, for me, started June 27th of this year, when I was able to do what no man, no women, nobody was able to do, and that was beat Cameron Hayden, not only in a match, but for a championship. And since then, things have been going great for me, since then, I have basically been untouched to anyone on the Xplosion roster, and for good measure at it. Because finally, this administration, we like to call the Xplosion General Manager, has finally given me a chance to go to the top of the mountain, by entering the Battle for the Gold tournament. And finally getting my chance to go to where I belong, where I have been made to go since coming back in December, and that is the Main Event."

Mr. Man smirks a bit, as typical house show pictures are being taken by fans, all while he's been speaking.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"But, I know for a fact that it's no easy task, because in my first round, I must get by the ever unstoppable Eighteen. You see, prior to popular belief, I am scared of Eighteen, she scares the living hell out of me, for many reasons, but really, the main reason is because, let's face it, this whole summer, she's dominated this whole company, defeated everyone who stepped in her track. The thing is, just like here, I've been on fire all summer long, beating people left and right, and etching my name into history. And, while me and you have basically been the same, the difference is, unlike you, I am a champion, a World champion at it. And the main difference, unlike you, I've proved that I'm not only the Future of this company, but I actually deserve the spot I hold right now."

Silence takes over the arena, but pictures still seem to be flashing, as Mr. Man holds his X-Division championship on his shoulder.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"And no disrespect to you Eighteen, because you're extraordinary, but the fact is, you're not the same person you were three years ago. What you are, is some washed up wrestler, who hasn't shined at all for the last two years, and yet, gets everything they want. And meanwhile, this whole year, I've shown night after night, that I deserve to be where I am, because I have the skill to do so. And although, all I said was true, you're not all THAT bad, you're just like your buddy White Tiger, and like most people on our roster, and that's washed up. And I know people might find me disgusting by this, but really, what have you done within this past year that you haven't done your whole career? Exactly, nothing but choke in everything you had."

Several boos are heard, but not to big, as Mr. Man stays standing the ring, holding his X-Division championship and microphone.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Look at it my way Eighteen, last year at SummerSlam, you had one of the biggest matches of your career, when you had one of the biggest matches in ages against Law for the eWe title. Or, in the King of Xtreme when you couldn't make it past the first round, just like in the Money in the Bank match, when you had everything in your corner, and you lost. Or, even at American Revolution, when Dan Taylor beat you in a match for the All-American championship, just like at this year's SummerSlam, when you lost the Triple Threat. The fact is, you have done nothing but dissapointed everytime they thought of giving you a big push to the top, and yet you get another shot at the title?"

Mr. Man pauses now, as he adjusts his title, and turns away from the position he was facing.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Now, I'm not trying to make you look like a fool, but let's face it Eighteen, while you've been choking everytime people think you're gonna dominate, I've proven why I am the best. I have shown all summer long why I beat Cameron Hayden for a championship, because since then, no Xplosion super star has been able to touch me. And I know people don't think I can win, and some may be right, but the fact is, just like at SummerSlam, and that June 27th day, I will work my ass off. And while I work my ass off, we see someone like Sean Lewis, and Jason Scott, and all these pricks who dropped the ball, come back and get their shots. Then, I see some overrated bitches like you and White Tiger get their shots, and all the meanwhile all you see is Mr. Man shirts and signs, wondering why I'm not in the main event."

Mr. Man holds onto his X-Division title and keeps it on his chest., as pictures are taken even more quicker and rapidly.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"And now, for the first time in my career, I fianlly get a shot I've been groomed for and made for, when I face you in the Battle for the Gold Tournament. And, while I know we've never faced each other one on one, I remember WrestleMania, and I remember the only reason I couldn't win, was because you took the easy way out, and tried to burn me, and it worked. In my eyes, you were the reason I couldn't make it past the midcard where our General Managers have kept me, and since then, I've been waiting for this shot. And i know, as much as you lvoe to fumble on the ball, I know you will use your fiber and being to defeat me, and I also know, that jsut like 5 former eWe champions before you, I will beat you, and make you number 6."

Mr. Man keeps a hold to it, as he looks around the arena with a smirk on his face, getting ready to talk.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Eighteen, Wednesday night will be the night my destiny is revealed, at SummerSlam, I told everybody I was a legend in the making, and it's gonna keep on continuing. Eighteen, Xplosion I will seel my date to greatness when I beat you, and continue my roll into this tournament, and when I win that final, I will get a match I shouldn't have to earn, and I will beat Cameron Hayden to become champion. And while, people may be already counting me out, I know in my heart, you will be my stepping stone to that title shot, and in all reality, you will be known for the person who pushes me. You'll even be able to have a match against me, while I'm in my prime, and you can tell your friends all about how great I was. Eighteen, I will work my ass off to beat you, just like all summer, and get my shot at greatness, and my destiny revealed."

Mr. Man now lifts up his X-Division title from his shoulder, to the air, as he looks at the fans in attendance.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"This championship proves that I am better than you in every aspect, that my promos and my wrestling isn't the same everytime I do it. And basically, I will prove why I am one of the, if not, the best wrestler in this company. Eighteen, on Wednesday, I will prove why I beat Cameron Hayden cleanly, why I beat Dan Taylor cleanly, and why I am the top champion on this show. Because, I'm the Champion of Champions, I'm the Best in the Business, I am one of the greatest wrestlers this company has ever seen in the past 4 years. I know that these fans will have my back, and I know that they will love it when I walk out as Champion, and they'll love you because you helped. So Eighteen, thank you, on Xplosion, you will be thanked, because you finally realied that you are facing the best wrestler in this business, and why you're facing the next World Heavyweight Champion."

Mr. Man then smirks, as "Almost Over" plays over the speaker system again, as he lifts up his title again, before putting it on his shoulder and going from the ring, ending this scene and roleplay.
