We open up our scene in Detroit, Michigan, where this week's edition of Wednesday Night Xplosion is being held. We see wrestlers have already enterted the arena, as they are seen walking around, warming up, and etcetera. That's where we see Xplosion's resident interviewer, Matt Peterson, standing by in front of the Xplosion set.

Matt Peterson
"Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, I want you all to give a hand to my guest this evening, the current reigning X-Division champion, Mr. Man!"

We see Mr. Man, like always, stepping into the frame next to Matt, holding his X-Division championship over his shoulder, and a smirk on his face.

Matt Peterson
"Well, Mr. Man you seem to be happy tonight, I assume it's because of your impressive victory against the 2007 X-Cup champion, Dylan Styles, at SummerSlam."

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Matt, you're right, that is why I'm happy, because just a little over a week ago, I was able to do, what people couldn't do before me, for a month, and that is pin Dylan Styles. I was able to show that I was better than Dylan Styles' backyard wrestling type past, and able to show why I have been simply great this past summer. Because, for a normal man, it would have been difficult for them to be bale to even keep up with Dylan Styles, much less beat him, and don't get me wrong it was pretty hard, but I was still able to show I'm not a normal man, I was able to show I am one of the greatest, if not the greatest, wrestler on Xplosion today."

Matt Peterson
"I do admit, you and Dylan Styles had a fantastic match at SummerSlam. But, speaking of SummerSlam, a certain wrestler made his return to the eWe, coming to the Xplosion brand, when he enforced the World title match, Jason Scott, who I have been told is your opponent for tonight."

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Matt Peterson, you see, SummerSlam, I told everybody I was going to break that glass ceiling and show that I am a legend in the making. That I am what I've been telling everyone I am the Best in the Business, and I proved that by beating Dylan Styles at SummerSlam, and yet, we have people coming around talking about the return of Jason Scott. Believe me, I know Jason Scott, I know he has the intensity of any wrestler in this company, and can put on a great match against anyone, but really, why should they care about Jason Scott?"

A bit of boos can be heard from the live crowd, though, nothing huge enough to make it a heat, because the rest of the crowd seems to be quiet.

Matt Peterson
"I don't seem to know where you seem to be headed towards here, can you elaberate for me and the fans?"

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Let me put it this way Matt. The past 9 months, I've been on a roll, I've shown people I am as great as I've said that I am, I'm the X-Division champion for god's sake. Yet, Jason Scott is here, a man who was considered to be the successor of Law, yet, he couldn't get the job done, because he couldn't even try, he couldn't even lift himself on this pedistal this company gave him, because he was afraid of failure, and afraid to show he was as good as people made him out to be, and after this company built him up as a real force, a real big monster to be messed with, he gives up and leaves, because he can't handle the pressure, and you know what? I don't like it, and the fans, my fans, I know for a damn fact they don't like it."

Matt Peterson
"I can understand where you're coming from, and I can see where this animosity is coming from, but he seems to be back in full force, and ready to pick it up where he last left off."

'The Future' Mr. Man
"That's fine, he wants to come back and try and show his first run wasn't a fluke, I can deal with that, but if the rumors I've been hearing are true, and that our so-called GMs plan to give him a World title shot, a title shot, which he does not deserve, nor will he ever deserve, and guess what? It's not happening, not on my watch, and especially not on my dominance on Xplosion right now. I'm not going to let it happen, because right now, I am the best this show and this company has to offer. Just look around at the fans, and look how many Mr. Man shirts are worn, and how many Mr. Man signs are up. Look at SummerSlam, where I did what I said I was going to do, and make my mark at Madison Square Garden."

Matt Peterson
"If this is true or not, which remains to be seen, I know for sure, you and Jason Scott will put on a great match tonight, no matter the result."

Mr. Man looks over at Matt Peterson, gripping on his title, before putting his head down and shaking it, both in embarassment and dissapointment.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"I don't know how many times I have to say this, but, Matt, I can wrestle a freakin' tree stump, and get a six-star match. Now, as for it being true or not, you and I both know, as well as the fans, I'm the unofficial number one contender for the World title. I beat Hayden, no one has been able to in the months before me, no one has been able to in the months after me. And right now, I'm probably in the best shape of my life, and Jason Scott, while he might be in shape, he hasn't had a match in 10 months, because A. he was a douche who left, and B. he gave up during a World title match."

Matt Peterson
"Well, as you know, at SummerSlam, despite what you say about people disliking him, Jason Scott came out to a pretty decent crowd reaction from the fans, proving there are more fans for him than you say."

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Matt, see, these fans might have some admiration for Jason, but they don't like him, and if you want a popularity contest, you and I both know, one, I have sold more merchandise than anyone in one month, than any former or current eWe superstar has in a month period, and, as you may notice, with this big "X" on my shoulder, we both know this past summer has been my summer on Xplosion. When people like Sean Lewis and Shawn Ashlocke took their ball and ran home, I proved myself worthy of taking their place, by doing what neither of them could do, and beat Cameron Hayden, and since then, nobody on the Xplosion roster has been able to beat me, and I doubt anyone can."

Matt Peterson
"Well, Mr. Man, I do wish you some good luck in your match against Jason Scott tonight, and I hope you and him can tear down the roof tonight."

Mr. Man just looks at Matt Peterson, before turning to the camera and smirking, the microphone of Matt's in his hand, and X-Division title on his shoulder.

'The Future' Mr. Man
"Matt, tonight, I'm going to keep on etching my name into the history books, just like at SummerSlam when I became known as the only X-Division champion to retain the title at SummerSlam. I'll be etching my name into the history books, when I am known as the men who was able to end Jason Scott's career, and dreams of making it big. Because Jason Scott may not know me, but I am the current reigning X-Division champion, I am the Future of Sports-Entertainment, I am the Best in the Business, and most importantly, after beating 5 former eWe champions, 7 former World champions if you count Dan Taylor and Dylan Styles, and that is the Champion of Champions! So, Jason Scott, do whatever you can do to find your will, because tonight, you're going to hell, because I am just Simply Great."

Mr. Man then walks off from the site, as the camera focuses on the big "X" background, before finally fading to black, ending this roleplay.
