NEXT MATCH: Mr. Man V. Danny Danger
PRE-PROMO THOUGHTS
Last week, finally momentum got on my side, as I had an upset victory over the All-American champion, Dan Taylor. This week, I have my sights set on a new challenger, from Chaos, in Danny Danger, and I know not to underestimate Danny, cause the boy's good.

Indianapolis, Indiana
This next scene begins, just moments after Mr. Man's non-title victory again Dan Taylor. Mr. Man is walking through the curtain, with sweat dripping, when he sees Kelly waiting for him, with a microphone.
Kelly: " Mr. Man! Mr. Man! You finally got a victory tonight on Xplosion, after a huge amount of losses, how do you feel? "
Mr. Man looks over at Kelly, with a smile formed on his face, as he is happy for his victory against Dan Taylor just now.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Well Kelly, let's put it like this, I'd be blasting you right now for a stupid question like that, if I wouldn't have won, so to answer, I'm feeling happy. "
Kelly: " Well, it wasn't the cleanest of victories for tonight, so maybe you feel at least a little bitter from the match. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Well, Kelly, I don't know what you were watching, but I won fair and square, but I won't hold you against that other stupid question. "
Kelly: " Well, do you think that match could have made you number one contender for Dan Taylor's championship? "
Mr. Man is now walking down the hall, Kelly is continuing to follow him, barading him with questions.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Kelly, I think that match could have elevated me into a World title shot I badly deserve, and badly am proving myself for. "
Kelly: " Well, I got word from Roddy Piper's office just now, and they said that next week on Xplosion, you will be facing the number two draft pick that Shawn Ashlocke is facing any second now. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Number two draft pick? Oh, you mean Danny Danger. Sounds like a good match. "
Kelly looks shocked at Mr. Man's way to predict the future, so to speak, before asking him a question, a bit terrified.
Kelly: " H-how did you know that the number two draft pick is Danny Danger? "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Well, if Danny Danger wants to be apart of the quickly fading away shoot type of roleplay that was really revolutionized by Johnny Chaos, and used by every wrestler since him, which pretty much made it gay, like James Ceno, because it's his invention, then I guess I can counter it with one comment of the past, which is May 16, 2007, while in fact the date is actually May 23, 2007. "
Kelly: " Uhhh.. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " The fact is this Kelly, I will deal with my match against Danny Danger for next week, later, but for now, I gotta get home. "
Mr. Man then stops walking, as he stands by a door, opens it, and walks in, leaving Kelly in a blaze of wondering fate, before walking away, thinking to herself.

Indianapolis, Indiana
The scene opens up still in Indianapolis, Indiana, as the Xplosion show has been ended for about an hour. We notice every worker has left the building, escept for the road crew, who are taking apart the ring and stage, and Roddy Piper. Or so we think, as Roddy Piper's office opens up, and shows Mr. Man coming into it.
Roddy Piper: " Damn it! What do you want now? Shouldn't you be gone? "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Piper, when did you turn into Matt Peterson? But never mind that, I want to talk to you about the World title. "
Roddy Piper: " Manuel, I already told you, you have to earn the shot, I am not giving you the shot. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Yes Piper, and I have told you, that I want you to consider me for the Retribution main event. "
Roddy Piper: " Well, my answer is maybe. I mean, sure you beat Dan Taylor in an upset, but still, I have other things planned for Retribution. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " What about me? What do I get for Retribution? I mean, my main goal is the World title at this point, and there's all this retarded booking stopping me from reaching that goal. "
Roddy Piper: " I wouldn't say it's retarded booking. Besides, the main event is basically already planned out and should be announced next week. "
Mr. Man looks at Roddy Piper with a stern and serious look, before shaking his head.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Yeah, I've seen the spoiler sites. But where does that leave me? I mean, I may not get a World title shot, but what am I gonna do for Retribution? "
Roddy Piper: " Well, leave that to me, I'm sure you will have a good role, but you should start focusing on your match with Danny Danger next week. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Yes, like it's said every week. But it doesn't matter, because I want a World title shot. As for Danny Danger, I know I'm not going to make the same mistake Dan Taylor did last week, and what everyone's been doing for a year, and that's udnerestimating me. "
Roddy Piper: " Whatever, just go train and focus for your match, and come here next week for your match again Danny. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Alright Piper, you got it, because next week I will beat him, I know it. "
Mr. Man then walks out of Roddy Piper's office, leaving him to his thoughts, and possibly his paper-work.
Scene Title: One Chance

Greenville, South Carolina
This next scene begins in Greenvile, South Carolina in the arena. Suddenly the lights go out only for "Almost Over" to be heard blaring over the p/a system. There also happens to be some green neon lights go all over the arena, as Mr. Man walks out from the back, to a very nice ovation. He goes from the stage to the ramp to the ring, and grabs a microphone, with the green neon lights still flashing after the music stops.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Last week here on Xplosion, I went one on one with the reigning All-American champion, Dan Taylor, in a match I was pretty much counted out in. And what I did was defy the odds and win that match. But that was then and this, right here tonight in Greenvile, is now. "
A pretty good reaction is heard during the attempted cheap pop especially, before Mr. Man continues in the ring.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " And tonight, I go one on one, with what some consider a blue chipper in the newest member of Xplosion, in Danny Danger. And I dunno about you guys, but I actually like Danny Danger, and I enjoy the way he has put up some exciting matches in his short career. "
Mr. Man stops, and he appears to be chewing some gum, while he looks to the fans, before speaking again.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " But tonight, it's different Danny, as I may like you, and I know you have a good future in eWe, there's one thing missing. I am the future of eWe. Now, I'm not saying you're not, and I know tonight you could have a good chance at getting to the top by beating me. But me, I know tonight I have to win. "
Mr. Man then pauses a bit, looking over to the fans, chewing on his gum, before continuing.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Danny, we're cool, aren't we? I mean, me and you, we're pretty cool backstage, but once that bell rings to start our match, and until it ends to end that match, I am willing to do what I did at WrestleMania, and walk through fire to beat you. And I know Danny that you will be willing to do the same to me. "
Mr. Man then looks at the camera, before looking back in the audience, using eye contact with various fans.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " And for tonight, I'm not underestimating you Danny. I'm not doing what everyone seems to have been doing to me for the past year, and under-estimate you. Because I know better Danny, I know that if I under-estimate you, you might come from behind and try and beat me, and believe me, I do know quite a bit about come from behind victories. "
Mr. Man lets out a little smirk after that comment, before turning his attention back on his match tonight.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Now Danny, I understand you probably have your own intentions coming into this match, and to be fair, I have my own. Because Danny, I know how much I am dying to get a World title shot, and I know that I will do anything, and beat anyone, anyway I can to get it, and if that includes you Danny, then sorry man, it includes you. "
Mr. Man keeps the same cool, calm, collective look over his face, as he has throughout the whole promo.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " And Danny, tonight will prove one thing to both me and you, that you can get another shot at Shawn Ashlocke, and I can get a World title shot. And I know Danny, that you have the same kind of heart for this business that I have, but I know that I am my own man, and I know that I can beat you, and that's my plan tonight, to beat you anyway I can. "
Mr. Man then does a quick little smile, before continuing on with his promo.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " So Danny, get ready, get dressed, go train, do what you can, cause tonight, me and you, one on one. And I know Danny that this is gonna do as much good for you, as it does for me. So I'll see you tonight Danny, I'll see you one on one. "
"Almost Over" powers back up, as the neon lights still play a light show for the fans. Mr. Man drops the microphone and leaves the ring, ending this scene.
