" THE FUTURE! "

Leaving and Entering

'Scene One - Leaving Philly

The scene begins at the ECW Arena after eWe Retribution. Mr. Man is packing up his stuff, still not sure what to say about seeing Mark Chaos. He then zips up his bags, and just sits there on a little bench. He starts holding his neck, knowing his opponent for Xplosion after being told by Roddy Piper.

Mr. Man gets up to grab his bag, when suddenly his phone rings. He goes to his pocket, and grabs the phone from it, and swings open the little door. He spots the name on the little Caller ID and smiles.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Yo, Chris. What up buddy?

Blue Panther
Hey Manuel. I'm just getting ready for my big return on Xplosion, and you?

'The Future' Mr. Man
I was just about to leave the Arena, still kinda battered up from my match with Boxer.

Blue Panther
Yeah, know how that feels. So what was up with that Mark situation?

'The Future' Mr. Man
I'm guessing he signed a new contract, because Piper told me I'm facing him next Wednesday, for my title.

Blue Panther
Damn. I was kinda shocked to see Mark there, I was reading internet sites and none of them predicted him to be there tonight.

Mr. Man looks a little tired. He hears Blue Panther talking and talking, before finally getting up and grabbing his bags.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Well, atleast I get my week and a half off, finally. I'ma go home tommorow and relax.

Blue Panther
After being home this long, I'm anxious to come back to the ring.

As both men are talking, Mr. Man is now in his car, after putting in his bag of gear, and is leaviung the arena.

'The Future' Mr. Man
I saw you're little promo tonight. Pretty weird, but it's gonna be cool to have you back backstage. When are you coming back anyways?

Blue Panther
Let's just say, before our next Xplosion Pay-Per-View. Anyways, how was the backstage of the ECW Arena tonight?

'The Future' Mr. Man
It felt like I was back home watching old ECW Pay-Per-Views. It was really weird, you could feel the buzz there, felt like old ECW wrestlers were there.

Mr. Man, now drives into the hotel he's staying at, while still on the phone.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Anyways, Chris, I have to go bro, gotta check in.

Blue Panther
Alright Manuel, talk to you later, oh and goodluck with Mark.

Mr. Man hangs up his phone, turning it off, and putting it in his pocket, then gets up and gets out of the car. He grabs his gym bag full of his stuff and walks towards the inside of the hotel, signalling the end of the scene.

'Scene Two - To The Gym, To The Gym'

This scene begins in a local gym in Miami, Florida. There is a trainer for an independent promotion, training some potential wrestlers. He is stand in his ring, he is also named "Ross Andrews", and is about to give his students a presentation.

Ross, looks at his students, who are all about to graduate his training school, he starts looking at the door, before speaking to them all.

Ross Andrews
You guys, listen, you guys are about to leave my school, and go become professional wrestlers in other promotions, and well as a graduation present, I brought in a proffesionalw restler, who is risibng up in the ranks these days. So please welcome, an eWe Superstar, Mr. Man.

Mr. Man walks into the room, where students are standing near the ring. He enters the roomn, with his eWe All-American Championship over his right shoulder.

Ross Andrews
I called this man here today, so he could explain things about how professional wrestling is like and how it is to start from the beginning.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Alright, you guys probably know me from Extreme Wrestling Entertainments, Xplosion brand, and I want to talk to you guys about how the world of professional wrestling is.

Mr. Man looks at all the young new wrestlers, he looks around the room, while still in the wrestling ring, before speaking again.

'The Future' Mr. Man
You guys need to know that it's tough. In different promotions there are different standards, some promotions you need mic skills, some promotions you need wrestling skills.

Some kids are losing interest, after hearing the same thing all the time they were training.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Well you guys seem to be losing interest, so I'm going to open up the floor, well ring, to any questions.

Some of the rookies, start to get their attention grabbed again, with one of the kids rasing their hands and standing.

Rookie #1
Mr. Man, I was wondering, are matches as hard to do while injured or getting injured, as they say it is?

'The Future' Mr. Man
Well, it depends on how you get injured, how bad you get injured, and where you're injured. Like me, back in my first real eWe match, I injured my shoulder, which caused it to split open, and well I finished the match, just stayed on the ground for a while. Next question.

Another young kid raises their hand, and holds it up, till Mr. Man points at him, then stands up.

Rookie #2
Well, I was wondering, what are the worst parts of taking bumps?

'The Future' Mr. Man
The worst part of taking hard bumps is, the pain you get in the morning, or at night. Some wrestlers use medication, to take the pain away. Me, i jsut use a heating pad or something like that.

Another young kid, raises their hands. He looks ready to answer jsut as Mr. Man points at him.

Rookie #3
I wanted to know what the backstage life is like, especially when you're a rookie.

'The Future' Mr. Man
When you first start out in any locker room, there's an alliance of veteran wrestlers from that promotion, who initiate you into the company, so to speak. It's what every wrestler goes through once or twice.

Another young rookie raises his hand up. This appears to be the last question.

Rookie #4
What about Mark Chaos?

'The Future' Mr. Man
Heh, you know what I honestly think of Mark Chaos? I think Mark Chaos is a prick. Mark Chaos is the most egomanical wrestler in Extreme Wrestling Entertainment. Mark Chaos is going to get killed Wednesday kids.

Mr. Man, looks a little pissed now, and rolls out of the ring and leaves the room, with the trainer coming back in, as the scene ends.
