'Scene One - Tardiness is a Form of Presentness'

The scene begins during the late evening of Sunday, August 27, in Tampa Bay, Florida, at the Raymond James Arena. It has been 3 hours since eWe superstars from both Xplosion and Chaos have entered the arena. Mr. Man is now enetering the arena, after his trouble with the airport security.

As Mr. Man enters the arena, the head of the Road Crew staff, Bill Watson, goes up to Mr. Man, looking for somewhat of an explanation.

Bill Watson
Manuel. Why are you here so late? You were suppose to have a meeting with Vince.

'The Future' Mr. Man
I know, but I got held up at the Miami airport. Can't I just reschedule with Vince later tonight?

Bill Watson
No, you can't, he is already booked up to his knees in meetings.

Mr. Man just shrugs his shoulders, before attempting to walk away from Bill, when Bill stops him.

Bill Watson
Where are you going? I need to talk to you.

'The Future' Mr. Man
What do you want Bill? I need to go get ready for my match tonight.

Bill then reaches into his pocket, grabbing a paper, opening it up, and giving it to Mr. Man.

Bill Watson
This is a fine, for coming in late. You are being docked $5,000 from your next pay check.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Goddamn it. I already told you why I was late. Do you need a written excuse from the airport?

Bill just scoffs at Mr. Man's attempt at a joke, before just walking away from him.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Whatever Bill. Just remember, I'm doing a promo later tonight.

This scene ends with Mr. Man walking off from the area, going to the Triple Threat locker room.

'Scene Two - Confrontation'

The next scene begins in the Triple Threat locker room. Mr. Man is in the locker room, all alone, before he hears the door open. He looks at the door, and it ends up being Chris Ceno. He looks at Chris, and begins speaking.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Chris, what the hell is the matter with you?

Chris is in his cubby hole, and grabs one of his new promotional shirts for SummerSlam.

Chris Ceno
Manuel, I'm just here because I forgot my shirt, so leave me alone.

Mr. Man gets up, and puts his foot on Chris' shirt, making it ahrd for Chris to pull.

Chris Ceno
Dude, get your fucking foot off of my fucking shirt.

'The Future' Mr. Man
No. I need to talk to you, you asshole.

Chris stops pulling on the shirt and gets in Mr. Man's face. He looks at him with anger.

'The Future' Mr. Man
What the fuck is wrong with you lately? You're acting like a real prick.

Chris Ceno
I am not acting like a prick. Everyone jsut thinks I am, because I have a new attitude on things.

'The Future' Mr. Man
You're acting like Sean Lewis.

Chris looks at Mr. Man, kind of shocked after hearing the statement, and gets back in his face.

Chris Ceno
Does it look like I cry about losing my title all the time?

'The Future' Mr. Man
Well lately, you have. Just stop acting like a prick.

Chris pulls on his shirt again, this time he is able to get it from under Mr. Man's foot.

Chris Ceno
You know what, whatever, I'm out, I have things to do with Shane.

This scene ends with Chris Ceno grabbing his shirt and walking out of the Triple Threat locker room, with Mr. Man just shaking his head, before going back to getting ready.

'Scene Two - SummerSlam! Are You Ready?'

The next scene begins during the beginning of HeatWave/Download, in Tampa Bay. We are just about to see the "Diva Gauntlet for Gold", when "Almost Over" by Limp Bizkit hits the p/a system.

As Mr. Man's music hits, fans begin going on their feet for Florida's own, with signs all over the arena for Mr. Man. Mr. Man then walks out from the backstage area wearing his All-American title on his shoulder with his "The Future" shirt and some black tights with orange designs, and the word "Summerslam" on the butt of his pants. He eventually is ringside, and goes up the steel steps, onto the apron and into the ring. As he is in the ring, he grabs a microphone.

'The Future' Mr. Man
It is so good to be back home in FLORIDA! But, I'm not here for a homecoming. I'm here for my match at SummerSlam. The match that is going to steal the show. I'm talking about the Double Ladder Match!

Some fans cheer for this, knowing the potential of the match, and how great it is going to be.

'The Future' Mr. Man
You know, I'm facing four opponents. Four of the toughest opponents I've ever ahd in my career. We have 4 guys that know what it's like to face a good match.

Mr. Man starts smiling at this, before speaking once again in his microphone.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Yeah, let me start on my first opponent. Johnny fucking Chaos. Johnny, you know, it's funny you're in this match. Considering you are probably the most influensial backstage poleticer. You owned eWe for christ sakes! We all know you're gonna use all your backstage power or you to walk out as a champion, but guess what, it ain't going to happen.

The fans ocne again begin cheering for Florida's own, after hearing all his statements about Johnny Chaos.

'The Future' Mr. Man
Then we have James Ceno. James, I used to respect, I used to have so much damn respect for you. What the hell happened? Oh I know, you used your brothers death to become big. You used your brothers death to win the Mid-Eastern title! And then it turned out your brother didn't even die! After finding that out, you left eWe for a while, thinking no one would remember.

The fans are booing during Mr. Man's talk about James, booing for Jason using his brother.

'The Future' Mr. Man
And now, Linz. Linz, you know what? I respect you. I respect you so damn much, you are one of the only men I respect in this match. But you see, you got the story wrong. You never had me in our match together, no no no, in fact, i ahd you! That's right, I was giving you the Future Splash, when suddenly, some bastard hit me in the leg. So either way, I had the match won, you crazy bastard!

Mr. Man is counting in his fingers, taking three fingers off, with one just remaining open.

'The Future' Mr. Man
And the man everyone expected to win, Shawn Ashlocke. Shawn, it's funny, all week fans have been telling me 'Ashlocke's beating you.' and well, I haven't seen you for weeks. I mean, you've already lost, and probably in a few weeks, you'll throw your weight around telling everyone a lame excuse, then demand Piper give you an All-American title match, and guess what, you'll get it!

Mr. Man keeps his smiling face on the camera, before speaking again.

'The Future' Mr. Man
So in conclusion, I'm facing a backstage leader, a guy who used death, a guy I beat, and a guy who gets whatever he wants. And I'm the damn underdog. Well tonight, I'm using everything I can use to defeat all of you and retain my title! Because The Future is here!

"Almost Over" hits the p/a system again, as the fans begin to cheer as eWe Heatwave/Download goes to a commercial break.
