I Smell Gold
| Scene | We open up our scene backstage of the arena, where we see Mr. Man standing in front of a monitor, and he does his dead and sickly smirk to the monitor, before doing a sarcastic golf clap.
| Mr. Man | What I want to do right now, is give a big congratulations last week for the win of White Tiger in what some may call the biggest match of his current career, when he won that Fatal Four-Way elimination match to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Congratulations, White Tiger, because by winning that match, by proxy, you have just made a date for yourself at WrestleMania, and in that match, you shall not only get beaten by me, but you will be humilated to the world's end. So congratulations White Tiger, congratulations indeed.
| Scene | Mr. Man smiles now, before looking away from the monitor, looking around the room, before smiling into the camera.
| Mr. Man | But tonight, for me it's not about White Tiger, tonight is not about WrestleMania, tonight is not about the Money in the Bank ladder match, where I no doubtably will not only defeat, but embarass my five other opponents and become Mr. Money in the Bank. Tonight, it's simply about warming up and taking the biggest advantage you can get, and tonight that's what I plan on doing.
| Scene | Mr. Man smiles again, keeping a look into the camera, keeping his gaze away from the monitor, before smirking.
| Mr. Man | While at WrestleMania, I have a chance to make history, and catch that motherload, tonight I have a chance to build up to that motherload. Tonight I have a chance to not only beat two of my opponents at WrestleMania, I have a chance to make them look like imbaciles, make them look non-existant going into WrestleMania, and in the process, become the favorite. What I can do, is not only make them look like nothing, but I can defeat them, and become greater than I've ever been, and I'm pretty damn great right now.
| Scene | Mr. Man pauses for a bit, the smile on his face slightly disolves into a more dissapointed and upset grin.
| Mr. Man | But unfortunatly, not everything's going as I'd want it to, because, while I face two of my opponents tonight, I also team with one, in a man named David Hybrid. And unlike Chris Hart, I'm not gonna go into a huge rant and start to ramble on and on in how me and my partner are going to co-exist, because quite frankly, I don't like David Hybrid. See, it's nothing personal on David Hybrid, I think he has the potential to be near Mr. Man quality in the next decade, but the fact is, he has no business being in the same ring with me, much less my tag team partner heading into WrestleMania. He doesn't even deserve to be going to this years Money in the Bank ladder match, because let's face it, he isn't my ideal partner going to Mania..
| Scene | Mr. Man looks a bit more serious, but his smile still intact to the point of confidence oozing in him.
| Mr. Man | But, I'm used to deversity, I'm used to fighting the odds, I become Cameron Hayden's personal pimp three times because of it, I am a former World Heavyweight Champion because of it, so I should have no problems teaming up with Eli Hogan's slighly better soul mate. Besides, I'm not exactly facing the king of the crop this week. Well, sure, last week, Ciaran Michaels did defeat me and Nero Phoenix in a tune-up match, but let's face it, the way I see it, I never got pinned, I never tapped out, Nero got pinned not me. What Ciaran will probably go on is that in our last singles match, he defeated me. Well, Ciaran, where did it get you, besides running away for months and months at a time because you can't be World Champion.
| Scene | Mr. Man smirks now, as some of the heat can be heard from the Omaha, pro-Ciaran wrestlers who seem to have hated that comment.
| Mr. Man | But, Ciaran, he is not alone on the road to WrestleMania, as he has an old family "friend", and I stress that rightly, in Chris Hart. Chris Hart, a man who's only claim to fame is holding onto the sack of his father, Bret, and being know as a good-to-decent tag team wrestler. Chris Hart, at WrestleMania, you will have no chance in hell of defeating me, because by proxy, I'm better than you. You say you and Ciaran will work on the same apge, but the fact is, your work, it will not count when you have to face Mr. Man, and while I may have some jobber fodder as my tag team partner, I am still the best in this entire match.
| Scene | Mr. Man pause long for one final and last time, looking at the camera, his smile going away, and a more serious tone setting in.
| Mr. Man | WrestleMania, I promise to the world, I will walk out with that briefcase, and as the Gold Standard, I will find that motherload, hanging 15 feet above me in the form of a contract, a contract that will make my Hall of Fame worthy career even bigger and better. And whether it's White Tiger, Nero Phoenix, my "partner" for tonight, David Hybrid, or one of my two opponents, Ciaran Michaels or Chris Hart, the fact is, Mr. Man comes back to the top of the mountain he never fell off, but instead got thrown off. That's WrestleMania, but tonight, whether or not David listens to me, I will winn this match, and get the momentum I need, before I walk out Mr. Money in the Bank, because what you all need to know is you're living in the past, and now in the present, my 5 opponents at WrestleMania need to realize, in Gold lettering, the Future.... is.... Here.
| Scene | Mr. Man smirks before the camera fades off on Mr. Man's smirk, ending this scene for the riches, as Mr. Man appears to be getting his mindset right for what he likes to describe as nothing but a 2-on-1 match tonight.
