PRE-PROMO THOUGHTS
A downward spiral is what I like to call what has been happening lately. Hell, since WrestleMania, since losing the Money in the Bank, I have been in a real shaken up form, but finally, I can get something back. This week, I face Elvis Jaggar Abdul Jabbar, a new kid who has been making a name. Can I overcome this man? Who the hell knows.

This scene starts off in Richmond, Virginia where the Xplosion pay-per-view extravaganza, Retribution is taking place. On a big night, we see Matt Peterson adjusting his tie, as he looks into the camera, in front of a locker room, a locker room that says once thing, "Mr. Man". With that being said, Matt Peterson holds out his hand, and knocks on the door, and a few seconds later, Mr. Man opens the door, which gets a decent pop from the Richmond fans.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Can I help you Matt? "
Matt Peterson: " Uh, can I get an interview from you? "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " I don't see why not, ask away. "
By this time, Mr. Man has closed his door, as he stares at Matt Peterson, who seems to be a little nervous.
Matt Peterson: " Okay, um, well la-- "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Alright, stop right there Matt, I know what you're going to ask. Last week I lost blah blah blah, and you want to know what I feel. Here's what I feel, last week I lost, end of, I got beat fair and square. "
Matt Peterson: " Wow, I was gonna ask you that. But tonight at Retribution you go one on one with the rookie, Elvis Jaggar Abdul Jabbar in a number one contender X-Division title match, any thoughts? "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Here's some thoughts Matt, I'm stuck in an X-Division number one contender match. I've basically been demoted from beating Dan Taylor to going against some unkown in an X-Division number one contender match. I can't say the least that I'm suprised. "
Matt Peterson looks a little weirded out from what happened, as he holds his microphone in front of Mr. Man.
Matt Peterson: " What do you mean that you've been demoted in eWe to the X-Division title? "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Here's what I mean, while I respect the legacy the X-Division title holds, I think it's utter bullshit, and yes, I can say bullshit, I'm on pay-per-view, I just beat Dan Taylor two weeks ago, I should at least be getting an All-American title shot. "
Matt Peterson: " Well, Dan Taylor is in a match, along with a guy you might face in a few weeks, Cameron Hayden, in the King of the Mountain match, so that would be impossible. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " You make a valid point, and here's what I think, screw that. Look at that King of the Mountain match, out of those seven, I've either beaten, or atlasted 4 of them, I've been screwed by two of the final three, and the last one is the only person to have actually beat me fair and square, yet I get stuck in mid-card land because this company has nothing else for me. "
Matt Peterson: " Well, there is no denying that you have been on quite a losing streak lately, so I can see why you're not being in the main event. "
Mr. Man stares at Matt Peterson, staring a hole in hime practically, before smiling a bit.
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " Maybe you're right Matt, but there is one thing you need to know. I've paid more dues then most of these wrestlers in the back, I have been through more hell in this past year than most people, yet, you look at other "main event level" wrestlers who do nothing but bitch and moan and groan, say they got screwed, pick fights, and do nothing but PMS until they get their World title shots, I ask you where's mine? "
Matt Peterson: " Well, there is that thing where they say you are suppose to earn title shots, you've even stated it yourself. "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " You're right Matt, I have said that, you hit the nail on the head for that. And that's what I plan to do, even if all this politics make me stay in mid-card land, because I am a man on a mission to get that World title shot, and right now, I will do anything, even if I have to beat Elvis Jaggar Abdul Jabbar Saddam Haseeb Muhammad Whatever, and if I have to go for the X-Division title and beat Cameron Hayden within an inch of his life, whatever, I will do it. "
Matt Peterson: " So tonight, you're focused as you've always been, does that leave any doubt in your mind? "
' THE FUTURE ' -- Mr. Man: " No Matt, there is no doubt. And since there have been changes in the past week that have been happening, that means new changes for me, that means I am now more focused, more determined, and more ready for the World title, so I suggest this to Elvis whatever, be prepared, cause I am a machine tonight. "
Mr. Man then backs up, and goes into his locker room, shutting the door behind him, leaving Matt Peterson to himself.
Matt Peterson: " Well, Mr. Man is going one on one with Elvis Jaggar Abdul Jabbar tonight, stay tuned for that match, abck to you Jimmy and Kenny. "
The camera then goes to the Xplosion announcers of the night, ending this scene, and basically this roleplay, so go fuck yourself.
