shipping company. You have a reputation
to uphold. Your task is to send sample
shipments of various metals to four separate companies. The companies and their needs are listed
below.
Boeing
Airplane Manufacturing Company:
Boeing needs a low density metal to make airplanes the
density of the metal should be about 3 g /cm3.
Babe Winkleman Fishing Corporation:
Babe needs a medium density metal to make fishing sinkers the
density needs to be between 6 and 8 g /cm3.
Safe Guard
Bomb Shelter Company:
A very dense metal is needed for protection of certain
sensitive National Defense materials. A
density of at least 10 g /cm3 is required.
Professor
Plum Candlestick Company:
A durable material with nice appearance to make a candlestick
is needed. A material with a density
between 7 and 9 g/cm3 would be acceptable.
