*********************************************** 3x3 Eyes Volume Summaries - 14 Written by: Mr. Kaiyanwang Email: Sanjiyan82@hotmail.com Website: http://www.geocities.com/mr_kaiyanwang *********************************************** Characters: Pai/Parvati IV - The last and most powerful Sanjiyan Unkara alive. Has a split personality; the cute and adorable Pai, and the arrogant and powerful Parvati IV. Goes off to train with Connelly in this volume. Yakumo Fujii - The Wu of Pai/Parvati. Yakumo is a 17 year old (technically) "normal" HS student turned immortal. Trains pretty hard to fight Benares in this volume. Thai Boxer - Connelly's "money tree". Quite good at Thai kickboxing and has earned Connelly tons of money through gambles. Fatally killed under Yakumo's hands in this volume. S. Connelly/Madurai - An old gambler that resides in Wales. Seems to be quite rich, too. Trains and prepares Yakumo to fight Benares. Megan/Maria Connelly - The daughter of S. Connelly. Is a respected senior at the school Mexing attends. The volume doesn't really focus on her as much as it did last volume, but she's still around. Wales Information Trader/Pekinpaa - The Information Trader that helps Pai-tachi search for Madurai. Has been dubbed "Gutless Uncle" by Pai, too. Like Megan, he doesn't play as big a role as he did in volume 13. Spazug - One of Benares' men. He disguised himself as Ling-Ling in the last volume in order to eliminate Madurai/Connelly. Galga - Has apparently become another of Benares' men. Doesn't fight Pai-tachi in this chapter; instead he fetches a beaten up Spazug. Saruraama - One of the King's servants. She has the ability to suck out life energy out of anything. Yakumo defeated her once during his 4 year search for Pai, and she has been wanting revenge ever since. Chen Aguri - Anyone remember him? He is Yougekisha's chief editor, and appeared in volume 1. In this volume, him -- along with Haan -- are captured by Saruraama. Haan Hazart - The magic merchant Yakumo encountered during his search for Pai. It is from him where Yakumo gets his Beast Magics. Captured by a "reincarnation" of Vishnu in this volume. Yohko Ayanokouji - Formerly a Benares of Yakumo, and also the water sprite Houasyou. She is one of Pai-tachi's most trusted friends (as well as my favorite character! ^^;;;). Mexing Long - Appeared in vol. 1-2, 7-8. Steve Long's younger sister. She helps Yakumo investigate the murders of girls named "Maria". Like Megan and Pekinpaa, Mexing takes a backseat in this volume and doesn't play a big part. Granny - She and Yakumo met each other during his 4 year search for Pai, and she had dispised him ever since. Why? Because the Wu apparently was the reason for a lot of bad things that happened in her region ... "Vishnu Reincarnate" - Apparently the current king of the region that Yakumo and Yohko travels to rescue Haan. He claims to be the newest reincarnation of Vishnu, but is he really? Vishnu - Just like there's a Shiva, Parvati, and Ganesa in the modern world, there's a Vishnu as well! It was apparently sealed in a casket, and the King thrives to resurrect it so that he may receive its godly powers (with him believing himself to be its next reincarnation and all). But there's only one thing, though -- x-ray results has shown that maybe the thing inside the casket isn't really "Vishnu" afterall ... Naparva - The same monk that Pai-tachi (or is that Yohko-tachi?) met during their volume 4-5 days. Has returned to apparently stop "Vishnu" from being revived. Summaries: True Nature - "Ling-Ling" is torturing Connelly, and Pai demands to know who she really is. "Ling-Ling" ignores her, and begins to spit something out her mouth that thrashes our friends. Back to the fight, Yakumo gloats that he had won, and the Thai fighter says he'll kill him. He throws a punch, but miss, and gets a smudge in the left side of his stomache. Just then, Yakumo feels a strong youki, and his attention is diverted. #13 takes this to his advantage to attack, and Yakumo is knocked down to the ground. #13 decides to kill the Wu by suffocating him with Athlete's Foot, but Yakumo kicks him away just in time. The ref decides to give a helping hand by providing #13 with a brass knuckle, but gets a nice punch in the face for being stupid. #13 continues fighting Yakumo with bare hands, but Yakumo isn't even paying attention to the fight anymore -- that powerful presence of a youki just won't let him! Just then, the Wu notices Pai on the ground -- as well as everyone else -- tangled in what seems to be Spider-Woman's .. err .. "Ling-Ling"'s web. "Ling-Ling" announces that she's going to take away Connelly and that his memory was sealed. Yakumo demands to know who this person imitating Ling-Ling really is, but she just runs away, saying that the seal on Connelly's memory can be lifted rather easily. Yakumo prepares to stop her with a Beastie, but that damn #13 knocks him down. #13 announces that he'll end the fight with a final knee in the face, and this is when the Wu has had enough. He fatally uppercuts #13, and yells out that he won't let SPAZUG get away!! He prepares a Kuan-Yaa, but Pai tells him that he'll hurt everyone else with Kuan-Yaa at that distance. Suddenly, a big explosion occurs! Yakumo clears things away with Tou-Chao, and it's apparent as to who did the explosion -- the Great Gutless One!! Yakumo tells him that he'd already won the match, and the others are scolding him for his actions (he wanted to save Pai-tachi ...). However, Yakumo tells Pekinpaa that his action wasn't a pointless one -- he'd hurt Spazug plenty! And how true that was -- the guy was bleeding as much as Yakumo was ... Take On In Battle - Electricity crackles and hits everybody as Spazug struggles to get out of his Ling-Ling disguise. Spazug announces that he'll make Yakumo pay for the loss of his left arm and debuting a new arm! The old guy attacks Yakumo, but it's Pekinpaa to the rescue! Gutless Uncle throws a dynomite that holds off Spazug (as well as knocking Connelly onto a debris head first ...), and Yakumo decides this as the right moment to attack! The Wu sends out Kuan-Yaa, but Spazug manages to block it with magic! He retaliates with his own Beastie, but Yakumo seems to be too fast for him! With a punch in the mouth, Yakumo manages to knock down Spazug, thus ending the fight! The Wu begins questioning Spazug, but a voice suddenly tells him that it's just a waste of time. That voice belongs to ... Connelly? Connelly seems to recognize Spazug, and Yakumo demands to know what was going on. Connelly, smoking a ciggy, burns the young Wu's hand for being an idiot, as well as not "asking correctly". Spazug, also confused, demands to know what was going on as well. Connelly doesn't reply with a straight answer ... instead, he announces that he'll kill him! Pai, however, tells Connelly not to, and Spazug takes this chance to attack! And yet, for some reason, Connelly easily repells it ... !! Suddenly, a shadow arrives in the background ... The Wizard Madurai - Pai recognizes the shadow to be none other than Galga! Connelly demands to know what he wants, and Galga replies that he is to fetch Spazug. Of course, Yakumo won't have none of this and tells the guy to worry about himself instead. However, before the young Wu can do anything at all, Connelly gives Spazug to Galga and tells him to leave. "I realize to attack you is foolish as well. Old Wizard Madurai." was Galga's reply. Everyone is shocked, especially Yakumo. He asks Connelly if what Galga just called him was true, and Connelly/Madurai replies so. Suddenly, out of nowhere Spazug tells Galga to attack! Yakumo quickly notices this, and throws a Kuan-Yaa at the demons. Galga, getting rid of that nasty morning taste in his saliva, spits and a little figurine forms from it. The figurine blocks Kuan-Yaa, but Yakumo isn't paying attention to that anymore. He notices Galga and Spazug flying in the air, leaving, and tells them to stop. Of course, he fails to realize that something formed on the ground below him. Faces and hands forms, and they reach out and grabbed everyone nearby. Yakumo, Pai, Megan, Pekinpaa and mis. guards are abused, and Galga grins at this. He gives Yakumo a message from his boss: "I'll be waiting, kid!" and takes off. Yakumo scolds at his uselessness, and almost submits when it's Madurai to the rescue! The old guy squeezes the statue with his hand, destorying it. Everyone is freed, and Madurai scolds Yakumo for being so careless. Yakumo demands to know why Madurai let Spazug escape, and Madurai tells him that Spazug has little powers to be a worry. Yakumo then gets down on his knees and begs Madurai to teach him how to defeat Benares. Just then, one of Madurai's guards grabs Pekinpaa and asks his boss how he would like to dispose of him. Madurai thinks of something, but it's Pai to the rescue! She asks him not to kill Gutless Uncle, and that it was him that saved them. Madurai tells the guard to let him go, since he apparently has a weakness to the requests to pretty girls. Yakumo pokes at Pai, and Pai gets the message. She and Megan both attach themselves to each of Madurai's arms and pleads with him for the method to defeat Benares. Madurai gives in, calling the girls "an evil bunch". ^^;;; Prepare - Yakumo is talking to the guys at Yougekisha via phone call. He tells them about their encounter with Spazug last night, and at that moment, Pai walks in with what seems to be a loaf of bread uhm ... inside her shirt. Yakumo greets her, and Pai takes out the bread to share with her Wu. Yakumo is understandably blushing and gives her the title "The World's #1 Miss. Eat and Sleep". Just then, Pai notices his phone call and apologizes for interrupting Yakumo's conversation. Yakumo tells her it's not what she thinks, but she's already half way out the door. On the other side of the line, Yohko wants to know what happened, but Yakumo tells her it's nothing. He concludes the call, then walks out of the room for breakfast. He scolds himself for not being careful around his love. As he takes his walk to his destination, he notices Pekinpaa and Megan talking. The daughter of Madurai seems to be quite fond of Gutless Uncle, and this is when Yakumo vows that he shall make himself clear to Pai -- she's the one he loves; not Yohko. Yohko is just a good friend. At the breakfast table, Madurai informs Yakumo that Pai had told him everything he needed to know. Around 300 years ago, Shiva became Kaiyanwang, and destoryed most of the Sanjiyan Unkara. Half a year from now, he would be resurrected and will destory the world. Yakumo replies that this is so, and it is the main reason that he must learn of a way to stop and defeat Shiva's Wu, Benares. However, Madurai tells him that there was a slight problem -- "I'll tell you this now! My method might be completely useless against the current Benares. He used to be my teacher and was the one that taught me how to be a wizard. 4000 years ago I might have won, but that only out of sheer luck. I stood no chance back then. The only reason that I might've won was because ... because ..." Madurai pauses, but Yakumo wants to know more. Madurai tells him to forget it since it apparently bared no relation to the fight, and that the young Wu's only concern should be the defeat of Benares. Yakumo asks if HE stood a chance, and Madurai replies so. "Kaiyan 5 Method" is what Yakumo must train under. His and Parvati's powers combined should be enough to match that of the current Benares. Yakumo accepts this training without question. Madurai, for some reason, turns to Pai and tells her that she was right about her Wu. Yakumo wonders what was going on, but Madurai tells the Wu that he should begin focusing on his training! He instructs Haalung, one of his main men, to "play with Yakumo" for a while. Later that night, a beaten up Yakumo walks back to his room only to find Pai sitting on his bed, tears in her eyes ... Practice Trial - Madurai gives the custody of the mansion to Haalung, announcing to him, his own daughter and Pekinpaa that he'll be gone for a month. Haalung asks his boss where he'd be going, but Madurai tells him that he can't say. The wizard then tells Haalung to properly watch Yakumo and make sure that he's properly trained. Pekinpaa wonders why Yakumo isn't accompanying Madurai on his trip since the purpose of the "Kaiyan 5 Method"'s is to make the Wu stronger. Madurai replies that Yakumo must first train under his machine to prepare his brain cell. The others are visibly confused, and Madurai explains. When a person is under extreme anger or fright, the brain releases a drug that awakens their unlimited sleeping power. However, under normal human circumstances, once that drug is released, that person basically becomes a vegetable. However, a Wu is different. Even with such a drug released, the Wu will be fine. This drug is what Yakumo must learn to control! Once that's achieved, Madurai will go on to teach Yakumo how to make good use of his body. However, these trainings will be very hard on both Yakumo and Pai. Speaking of those two, Pai has embraced Yakumo, her eyes still wet. Yakumo asks her why she's crying, and the Sanjiyan Unkara apologizes. Yakumo asks her why she's apologizing, and Pai apologizes again. The young Wu then takes this time to try to explain his phone call in the morning, but Pai backs away and apologizes about not understanding. She then says that she's still a child, and that when she grows up, she'll understand. Yakumo is confused, and suddenly, Pai clobbers him with a pillow! ^^;;; Yakumo tries to return the favor, but misses! Holding onto the drapes, Pai tells Yakumo that he must wait for her to grow up. Yakumo is even more confused, but suddenly Madurai appears! He tells Pai not to say anymore, otherwise Yakumo will probably object. The poor Wu only gets EVEN MORE confused, but Madurai knocks him out before he could say any more. Everything turns black for a few seconds, and we see Yakumo waking up in a seemingly virtual world. "Pai! What are you thinking? I really like you, but ..." Just as he was thinking this, the Wu notices someone QUITE familiar standing before him -- BENARES!!! Yakumo screams in horror, but Madurai's voice tells him to concentrate! In the real world, Madurai and Pai are boarded on an airplane, and Madurai continues speaking. He tells us and Yakumo that the "Kaiyan 5 Method" is a Sanjiyan technique, and that only a Sanjiyan of age may use it. However, Pai, being only 300 years old, is a bit underaged. If something goes wrong, Pai will become a horrible monster ... !! But if things DO go right, not only will the Sanjiyan Unkara's power increase, but their Wu's powers would as well!! Also at this scene, we see that Yakumo is hooked to a big machine, and Haanlung is watching over him. Letter From Haan - Somewhere in what seems to be an Indian country, a woman is pursuading a hooded figure to help her resurrect Vishnu. Otherwise, the hooded guy's friend -- none other than Yogekisha's editor Chen Aguri -- will die! The hooded figure calls the woman vicious, and it is here that we see the hooded figure is actually Haan! Back to Yakumo, he's still in his virtual world, fighting a virtual replica of Benares. Yakumo does everything he can, be is still no match. Madurai tells him that if Yakumo can't even get past the first stage of this training, then he refuses to tell the Wu where he and Pai are going. As his training ends for the day, Yakumo climbs out of his machine and he is greeted by Haalung. Yakumo asks him if he'd found any information as to where Madurai went, but Haalung says he couldn't find any. But Yakumo does have a visitor -- the almighty Yohko Ayanokouji!! The two finds themselves in a coffee shop, and Yakumo asks her why she suddenly came to England. The Great One tells him that he hasn't called in a week, and she was worried about him! Yakumo tells the Great One that he'd been training all that time, and that if he doesn't make any progress, Madurai would never tell him where he went with Pai. The Great One asks if Madurai told him anything about sealing Benares, etc, but Yakumo replies no. The Great One wonders how Mistress Seima could go off with someone like Madurai, but Yakumo assures her that Pai probably knows what she's doing. The Great One smiles at this, wishing that she could find a boyfriend as good as Yakumo. The young Wu blushes at, but the Great One isn't done! She hands him a "weird postcard" that she received, and tells Yakumo that some guy named Haan sent it. Yakumo reads the letter (it's quite funny -- Haan writes about how great a friend Yakumo is and how touching that they are friends), and wonders what "that baka is up to now". The Great One further informs him that Ling-Ling says that Haan would never write such a thing. Just then, Pekinpaa walks by, and Yakumo introduces the Gutless One to The Great One. Just then, Yakumo notices smudges on the postcard, and proceeds to pour water on the card. The Great One wonders what Yakumo is doing, and just then, another message appears! "Save me, Vishnu is about to be resurrected. Hurry and come." reads the Great One. Without second thoughts, Yakumo asks Pekinpaa to prepare some money and passports ... Devaraaja - Back in school, Megan, Mexing and Maria talks about the place that Yakumo is going, and that it is quite forbidden. At that place, some soldiers floating on a boat are shooting "shadows under water". They proceed to leave, satisfied. Crawling from a rock was Yakumo and Yohko! Inside a hut, a Granny is yelling and throwing blunt objects at Yakumo and Yohko. She is apparently holding grudges for what Yakumo did 4 years ago, and Yakumo apologizes furiously. Granny then offers Yohko a room to shower. As Yohko takes her offer, Large Woman feeds Yakumo some food. Yakumo eats, and Granny asks him why he's in her presence once again. The young Wu replies that he is to stop Vishnu from resurrecting and shows her Haan's postcard. Granny is visibly frightened, and says that the King must be at it again. Yohko asks her what the King had to do with Vishnu, and she replies that he might be Vishnu's next reincarnation! Speaking of the guy, he's in his "palace" enjoying a drink and announcing to the whole world who he might be. The apparent casket of Vishnu lies before him, and the King says that he shall open it and merge with whatever might be in it. Standing in a few feet or so is Haan, observing everything while Saruraama explains to him about Vishnu's existance. Haan dismisses everything about it seeing that it's quite hard to believe in God-like beings given their current period of time. Back to Yakumo, he, Yohko, and Granny are sailing in a bank somewhere. Yakumo is looking over a picture of an old man, and they were apparently partners 4 years ago. Granny goes on to say that everything that happened was Yakumo's fault, and the young Wu apologizes. However, she then goes on to inform him that 10 other magicians are also missing, and they may be used to resurrect Vishnu. Just then, Yohko notices a large temple-like building, and the three goes off to investigate. Yakumo notices a strange, weak presence, and wonders if Haan left it as some sort of trail. Suddenly, Yohko screams in fear as a large jaw thingy immerges from the sand! Chance Meeting - Yakumo attacks with Kuan-Yaa, but gets knocked off the first time. He tries again the second time around, and succeeds in knocking the jaw monster down. Yakumo wonders what exactly it is, since it didn't give off any youki. Yohko asks Granny if this is the thing that was running around, but she replies that it was the first time she'd seen such a thing. The three proceeds to leave, looking for whatever trail that Haan must have left. Just then, the jaw thing reforms, and a face -- Saruraama's -- forms inside! Yakumo turns around, noticing that same weak presence from earlier. Yohko tells him that there's nothing, and they should resume their search. At that point, the three notices Saruraama's face! However, it is only an emulation of her real face as we see her gloating and laughing in the next few scenes back in the King's palace! She gloats that she'd finally found "them", and she couldn't believe that Haan's friend was the "Joumma Specialist" she'd fought 4 years ago! Laughing, she vows that she'll get revenge with him this time around! Anyway, back to Yakumo, he, Yohko and Granny are being grabbed by tentacles and hands that formed from the jaw monster! Saruraama tells him that she'll make him suffer and bites on his legs! She then tosses the young Wu onto a pillar, and Yakumo suddenly notices one of Haan's knives stuck in the ceiling! However, his body is numb from Saruraama's bite. Saruraama, on the other hand, doesn't realize what a "Wu" is and wonders how come there are no injury on Yakumo's body. Yakumo decides to concentrate and closes his eyes. Saruraama thinks that he'd given up and goes for the kill when suddenly, the young Wu opens his eyes and sees the magic patch on one of the tentacles! He destorys the patch, and Saruraama's illusion form is destoryed, freeing everyone. Vishnu - Somewhere, a guard is reporting about his whereabouts when suddenly, he's captured by Yakumo! The Wu ties him up and steals his clothing while Yohko questions him. The guard tells about Vishnu's casket and other things. Meanwhile, Granny is examining the little knive that Haan left behind. Yakumo looks over to her and asks if she found anything, and she implies so by tossing it at the Wu's direction. The guard continues to tell them that he, being just a guard, knows little .. but Yakumo zips his mouth shut. Granny goes on to say that, wheather Vishnu's casket is indeed the real thing or not, the King has his heart set on opening it. Yakumo sighs, stating that things just HAD to get more complicated, and that he was never prepared for Vishnu because he'd thought that the god's resurrection wouldn't be possible. Yohko assures him that whomever Vishnu may be, it probably couldn't level Shiva. Granny hears this and, offended, screams in outrage over and over. Yakumo tells her to relax and tells her to eat a bit so she could calm down. He even goes as far as to compliment her cooking. ^^;; Now that she's calmed down, the three discusses about Vishnu. As they talk, a few men in trenchcoats and hats are silently watching them in the background ... back to Yohko-tachi, Granny tells the two that Vishnu is one of the most respected and highest gods in the Hindu religion. Yohko wonders if Vishnu could be a Sanjiyan, but the answer is no since Vishnu shouldn't have a third eye. Vishnu is apparently a kind god that has 4 arms and rides on the thousand-headed dragon. Vishnu also has 10 different reincarnations, like a turtle, lion-faced man and other strange forms. Yakumo notes that, with so many forms, there's a possibility that one of the forms may contain a third eye and in turn, leading Vishnu to having a Sanjiyan form! If all those may be true, then it's only a matter of time until Benares shows up once Vishnu is resurrected!! Just then, Granny informs us that there may be someone watching them. If someone is there, why didn't they attack? Yakumo steps out of the ship to investigate, but as he does so, Yohko notices more guards and their ships coming at their direction! They fire and blows up the boat that Yohko and Granny are on, but the two escapes just in the nick of time. Yakumo attempts to summon a Beast, but gets shot in the shoulder. Yohko and Granny jumps to the ground as the guards shoots rapidly at them, and Yakumo prepares for an attack. However, before he could do anything, the three men in trenchcoats and hats from earlier jumps onto the guards' ship and knocks them all down ...... Holy Casket - Where the king is residing, Saruraama is reporting to him that the casket where Vishnu is in would not be opened, even with 10 magicians. The king is suspicious, and comes to the conclusion that Saruraama doesn't want the casket opened. But he convinces her otherwise by showing her the insides of the casket -- via x-ray scan! The x-ray scan shows what seems to be the remains of a chest and a spine ...? Meanwhile, the trenchcoat men are beating up several guards. Yakumo and friends are swimming underwater (err .. that is, Yohko is in Houasyou form carrying him and the Granny), avoiding the trenchcoat guys and the guards. After swimming for a short while, the three makes it to the palace with Vishnu's casket is residing. Yakumo chooses to go by himself, while Yohko takes care of the Granny. However, the Granny refuses, that she'd gladly die to see her God Vishnu. Yakumo tries to convince her otherwise but accidently sets off a trap! Jaw-thingies similiar to the one that attacked Yakumo and friends earlier appears and attacks them. Yakumo is tossed away while Yohko and Granny are trapped in the jaws. High above, Saruraama and the king are watching this happen, and to quote Saruraama, "Looks like the rats have been captured!!". The king orders his guards to IMMEDIATELY open Vishnu's casket, but Saruraama tells him that he'd anger the God if he did so. The king assures her that it'll be fine because he's Vishnu's next reincarnation!! Elsewhere, Chen Aguri, Haan, and a bunch of other magicians are reading some descriptions on the casket. "I am resting. When I awake, the world shall be destoryed." Chen reads. He confirms that whatever was inside of it is indeed Vishnu, but there's one problem -- the alphabet system used on the caskets are the same one used by Sanjiyan Unkara!! Haan asks if Vishnu could be a Sanjiyan Unkara, but Chen tells him that they should hope the casket would never be opened. The other magicians assures him that no humans in existance has the power to open the casket, so they need not to worry. At that moment, several guards, with saws in hands, tells them to move away! It's obvious that they're going to saw open the casket!! Chen tells them that they'd anger Vishnu, but the guards tell him to shut up. As they got to work, Haan announces that he could feel an huge amount of youki ... Opening - Somewhere away the palace, Yakumo is seen on the ground, unconscious. He comes to, and notes that Yohko and Granny are been captured. He walks around, and notices several guards. The guards also notices the Wu, and demands to know what he's doing there. Yakumo, still in his guards disguise, tricks the guard into leading him to Vishnu's casket. However, before they could make it, the trenchcoat men from earlier strikes again! All the guards are knocked down, and Yakumo demands to know who they are. One of the men attacks the young Wu, but Yakumo easily takes care of him. Another, who seems to be the trenchcoat men's leader, strikes next. They both exchange blows, and each other's hats are knocked off. Looking at each other's faces, they recognize each other -- the trenchcoat guy is Naparva, the monk Yakumo and friends met 10 volumes ago!! Meanwhile, the king and Saruraama are marvelled at the casket, commenting on how powerful the youki coming from it is. The casket begins to crack apart, and Saruraama welcomes whatever's within. Elsewhere, Yakumo has rejoined with Naparva, and the monk tells him that 500 years ago, their kind had once opened the casket and that thousands of people had died as a result. Obviously, they can't let the casket be opened again. However, Naparva reveals another fact -- whatever's inside the casket IS NOT VISHNU!!! Resurrection - The casket cover breaks apart, and the chest-spine thingy inside floats out. Saruraama laughs evily at this, but suddenly, the king's guards points their gun at her ...? The king orders her to hurry up and transfer Vishnu's power over to him. Saruraama tells him not to hurry and that he should let "Vishnu" reform its body. The king has apparently no patience and Saruraama begins to obey and chants the magic. Saruraama pulls off the glove off of one of her hands, and it's ghastly. What was concealed in the glove was a scaled claw that faintly resembles a hand. A little ball is in the palm area. Saruraama places her "hand" onto the king's forehead, and the ball is transfered onto his head. She tells him that it's a Beast egg, and the guards aim their guns at her. She tells him that for the king to receive Vishnu's power as well as merge with the God, the egg is required. And that if they shoot and kill her, the egg dies as well. At that moment, Haan and the other magicians chants a magic chant, and Saruraama notes that they're trying to stop "Vishnu" from resurrection. She tells the guards to stop them, but they're not available at the moment!! Yohko, who has awakened, attacks them! Saruraama calls her an "inferior youma", which insults the Great One. Insulted indeed, she tells her that she used to be Beanres' most valuable servant! But she's interrupted as Saruraama attacks! Yohko dodges and grabs her "arm", but gets shot by one of the guards! Saruraama grabs Yohko's throat and orders the guard to shoot. Lots of magicians are shot as Yohko watches in horror. At that moment, Yakumo and the others arrive, "Vishnu" forms a head, and Saruraama is confused because that thing doesn't look like the God! Karuki - It's plain as day now -- the thing that was thought to be Vishnu is not Vishnu, but as Naparva points out, it's Karuki, one of Vishnu's many reincarnations!! As Karuki's body forms, lots of debris are flying. One of them almost hits Haan, but Yakumo saves him just in time!! He is informed about Karuki. Yakumo asks Naparva for any way to stop it, but Naparva tells him that he'd have to wait a few years until it absorbs enough spirit-ki!! Yakumo lements the fact that Pai isn't present, and Haan suggests an attack. Naparva advice against it, but some of the soldiers are already shooting! This, of course, leads to their downfall as Karuki shoots blasts powerful enough to vaporize the soldier's head and lead the palace in ruins. Saruraama demands to know what it is, and Naparva replies that it's Vishnu's 10th recarnation, Karuki. He then goes on to say that Karuki is the destoryer of the world, but Saruraama dismisses it. She explains that Karuki should be a hero on a white horse, and not some giant monster thing. Naparva continues to explain that not only Karuki isn't that, but it was created to destory the world! Suddenly, the King speaks up to Karuki and demands them to emerge, him being Vishnu's next reincarnation and all. But Karuki replies with a blast! And wait a minute, Yohko and Granny are near where the King is!! Saruraama - The King is killed, and there's a lot of debris around. But Saruraama couldn't be any more happier! She then takes off her clothes to reveal her ... fleshless body? Yakumo demands to know what's with it, and Saruraama reveals that she is the descendrent of the Beast Egg tribe. She'd planted a lot of Beast Eggs on herself, and as a result, her body is as dry of flesh as ever. Yakumo realizes that the Beast Eggs had sucked up a lot of her energy, and Saruraama tells him that once she has power, there'd be no need to use Beast Magics. With the King gone, that's exactly what she has now. But, she'd lost a ton of energy in the process, and who better than Yakumo to replenish her source? Using her palm, she begins to suck the life out of the Wu. She laughs, telling him that's what he deserved for what he's done 4 years ago, but Yakumo, being a Wu, is easily revived. He breaks free of the hold that Saruraama trapped him in, and proceeds to beg her for help to take down Karuki. Saruraama confused that Yakumo survived. Battle Preparations - It seems that a plan was made, and Saruraama feels the need to ridicule it. What's the plan? Yakumo is to go and distract Karuki while Saruraama uses her hand to suck the life energy out of it. The Wu rescues Yohko as he discusses his plan, and Saruraama is finally convinced. All the while, Haan is trapped under a rock and demands to be freed ... anyway, Saruraama takes off to do her part of the plan and Yakumo follows -- but not before getting bashed by Haan for not rescuing him earlier. Chen Aguri suggests to get the Sanjiyan Unkara, and Yakumo wants to know who he is. Mr. Chen introduces himself, and Haan proceeds to tell the story of how he and Chen got caught. While searching for the Beast Magic tribe, they were found and lied to by Saruraama, and everything else is history. Yakumo understands, and tells Haan and everyone else to get away as far as possible while he fights Karuki. Since Saruraama is helping, he might stand a chance. Haan scolds him, telling him that Saruraama can't really be trusted. Yakumo is still going anyway, because if he were to fight someone like Benares, he can't run away. Besides, Pai is probably training hard -- how could he slack off? Haan mumbles and grumbles, and Yohko says she wants to fight, too. Haan notices the Great One, and gets slapped because if it wasn't for him, they wouldn't have to come down here. Granny offers to lead the way, and Naparva also announces that he shall fight. It is at this point that Yohko recognizes the monk and proceeds to hug him -- causing a rather large blush. Back to Yakumo, he's looking over Karuki and wondering what and where to attack whens suddenly, Karuki notices the young Wu!! Karuki gets the first attack! Yakumo sents Kuan-Yaa at work in reply, but Karuki easily deflects it. What is Yakumo going to do!? Response - Karuki continues its assault, and Yakumo continues running away. From above, Saruraama is enjoying this and hopes for Karuki to kill off Yakumo. Yakumo scolds her, asking her how long would she like to keep that fleshless body of her's. She's not going to get any mates this way, he continues, and would probably end up being loney if she continued owning a body like that! Yakumo tells her that if she wants a change, she should help him! As he says this, he manages to blow off Karuki's left arm with a Kuan-Yaa!! This is a great chance for Saruraama to do her thing and suck away Karuki's life energy, but she doesn't move, as if confused. Yakumo asks her if she wants her beautiful body back, but at that moment, he's attacked again!! Karuki's left arm socker regenerates a new body like a Wu, and teeth suddenly grows from its old arm. The old left arm jumps at Yakumo and bites his left arm ...?
