Characters:

Pai/Parvati IV - The last and most powerful Sanjiyan Unkara alive. Has a split personality; the 
cute and adorable Pai, and the arrogant and powerful Parvati IV. Searches for Houasyou/Yohko 
Ayanokouji throughout this vol.

Yakumo Fujii - The Wu of Pai/Parvati. Yakumo is a 17 year old (technically) "normal" HS student 
turned immortal. Also searches for Houasyou/Yohko Ayanokouji throughout this vol.

Natsuko - Yakumo's old HS friend. Still thinks about Yakumo after all these years. Now working 
as a HS teacher.

Don-chan - One of Yohko Ayanoukouji's good friend; she was manipulated by a floppy disk youkai 
for a while.

Floppy Disk Youkai - A monster inside a floppy disk. It feeds on the lifeforce of living things 
to survive and grow. Has been feeding off cats and dogs, but now decided to try humans.

Floppy Disk Girl - The student that provided the FDY the food it needs. Quite terrified when 
FDY announced that it wanted humans.

Benares - The powerful Wu of Kaiyanwang. Is currently looking for a third Sanjiyan for the 
Humanity Ritural. He is the reason why Yakumo and Pai are looking for Yohko.

Houasyou/Yohko Ayanokouji - Houasyou appeared in vol. 3-5. It used to be a servant of Benares, 
and was used to control Pai/Sanjiyan. However, Pai's will was too strong, and Houasyou ended up 
losing it memories as well. For 4 years, Houasyou took the identity "Pai Ayanokouji" thinking 
that it really was Pai. It wasn't until 4 years later in a fight with Benares that it realized 
it was really a snake. With tears, she sacrificed her newfound life and Pai/Sanjiyan was once 
again awakened. Sanjiyan thought it was noble of Houasyou and gave her a new body and name; 
Yohko Ayanoukouji. Yohko's memories with Benares was sealed away until her recent nightmares ...

Galga - Has apparently become another of Benares' men.

Spazug - One of Benares' men. He is sent to attack Yakumo and Pai. Uses mind control on Yohko 
Ayanokouji in this vol.


Summaries:

Natsuko - A cat is seen being killed, seemingly from electric shock. A girl is standing in 
front of her computer, an evil look on her face. "Was that good?", she asks. The computer 
replies so. Later, it is the first day of Natsuko's job as a HS teacher. She vows to do a good 
job, and goes off to her classroom. Just then, a crash is heard. It was the girl from earlier, 
and she apparently dropped her books. Natsuko offers to help, but when she grabs a floppy disk, 
the girl hastily snatches the disk away and runs off. In class, Natsuko is quite nervous, but 
calms down once she sees that her class is full of good students. But she does notice the girl 
from earlier staring at that floppy disk. What was with her ... ? Class ends, and it is 
apparently recess. It is here where Natsuko met Don-chan, who is looking after two dogs. Later 
that day, one of the dogs is dead, and everyone investigates. Natsuko notices the floppy disk 
girl looking down from the school window, and goes off to find her. What she found was quite 
disturbing ...

Don-chan - The floppy disk girl is seen typing at her computer in the computer room. However, 
there was a strange looking creature sitting at the keyboard. Natsuko silently watches as the 
FDG asks the creature if "the dog tasted good". The creature responds that it wants to try 
something new and bigger -- humans! Natsuko looks on, and at this time, Don-chan finds her. She 
overheards what FDG says; "I could bring you another dog if you like." ... Don-chan walks into 
the computer room and accuses FDG of killing the dog. Suddenly, Don-chan is knocked into the 
wall and FDG takes off with her floppy disk. Natsuko checks on Don-chan, who eventurally wakes 
up. However, she looked stunned, and announced that she was going to take the computer. Later, 
students are attacked, seemingly having their lifeforce taken out. Don-chan is seen with a 
blank yet evil expression ...

Vanishing - Natsuko and FDG must find a way to stop Don-chan and whomever is controlling her. 
They later find out that the youkai's weakness is water. Meanwhile, other students are 
exclaiming that there is a monster around, and a certain worker from Smiley-Smiley bakery 
watches on .. Back to Natsuko, she has decided to lure the floppy disk youkai into the school 
pool, but FDY figured out her plan long ago. Suddenly, a Kuan-Yaa is seen from above and FDY is 
instantly killed. Everyone recovers, and Natsuko wonders to "Fujii-san" if everything has 
changed ...

The Two Wu - Yakumo is training with Steve, and it is obvious that he had gotten a lot better 
since they last trained in volume 9. It is also apparently that with Mrs. Huang's death, 
Yougekisha ran out of business and is now living temporarily with Mama-san. However, with that 
aside, Yakumo is searching and training for ways to defeat Benares. Benares on the other hand, 
with Galga and Spazug as his servant, is looking for the 3rd Sanjiyan for the Humanity Ritual. 
Meanwhile, Yakumo is walking around town, and Pai drops in. She is in her HS uniform, 
resembling her Ayanokouji days. The two has apparently decided to search for the one person 
that might know where Benares is -- Yohko Ayanokouji!!

A Delicate Situation - A man with a character on his head. A scaled arm. This was a nightmare 
that a girl had. Later, Yakumo and Pai are spying on that same girl when suddenly, Yakumo is 
knocked onto the train tracks! Before he could do anything, though, he is "saved" by the girl 
he was spying on -- Yohko Ayanokouji!! Yohko says that she feels quite warm inside when looking 
at Yakumo; almost as if he was a really good friend ... but then she realizes that they had 
never met before. She tells him that she'd meet him again tomorrow, and takes off. Later, Yohko 
is practicing swords, and Yakumo (in his Smiley-Smiley bakery outfit) and Pai are spying on 
her. At the end of the session, Yohko takes a shower and she suddenly realizes her left arm are 
full of scales ...

Emergency - Yohko is disturbed by this, and covers her arm with a towel in shock. Her friends 
looks at her and asks if everything is fine. She removes the towel -- and her arm is fine. She 
decides that maybe she was just seeing things. Later, in Mama-san's apartment, Steve and 
Ling-Ling are looking over several floppy disks. They then decided to bet that when Yohko 
regains her memories, would Yakumo choose her over Pai? Yakumo returns from wherever he was and 
scolds the two "mid-aged delinquents". Pai is also elsewhere near spying the delinquents' 
coversations, and Yakumo asks if she was going to go with him to see Yohko. Pai says that she 
was too busy, so Yakumo will have to go alone. Meanwhile, Yohko is waiting at the train station 
with a worried look on her face. She had almost decided that Yakumo won't show -- until Yakumo 
actually does. She is overjoyed. The two enters a cafe and Yakumo asks why Yohko asked him out 
since he was a "total stranger". The two introduces themselves and that "problem" was solved. 
Yohko then tells Yakumo about her recent dreams about a bulky guy with red eyes, and Yakumo 
asks if the guy had a red character on his head. Yohko exclaims so, and Yakumo realizes that 
Benares had gotten to her first. Suddenly, liquid all over the cafe bursts! Yakumo decides that 
it was Benares, and quickly takes Yohko and escapes. Yakumo asks her if there was another else, 
and Yohko tells him that she may not be human. It was then that Yakumo realizes Benares didn't 
do anything -- it was Houasyou tarnishing her powers!!

Rampage - Water is bursting everywhere, and Yohko realizes that her arm was scaled again. She 
panics, and more water flies out. One of them cuts Yakumo, and he realizes that the water 
bursting aren't oridinary water. Yakumo tells her to calm that, that this was her power. She is 
obviously confused. Just then, Pai drops in from the sky and tends to Yakumo's cut. Yakumo 
wonders how she was here, and Pai replies that she just "happened to be lost in the area". 
Yohko tells Yakumo and Pai to stay back, but Yakumo assures her that no one will harm her. 
Yohko looks at Yakumo in shock as she recognizes the red character on his forehead. With 
another panic, she sends Yakumo and Pai smashing by a telephone booth. Meanwhile, Mama-san is 
reading the text on Houasyou and its water distorting powers. The news suddenly kicks in about 
flood and water, and Mama-san looks stunned. Yohko is still afraid and runs off. Yakumo, 
bloody, tells her to wait, but no good. Sanjiyan comes out and exclaims to Yakumo that if he 
doesn't find her, Yohko would die!!!

Trouble - Yohko is still running away scared, when she suddenly comes across Spazug. He tells 
her that she isn't human. Meanwhile, Yakumo decides to go after Yohko, but a groan from 
Sanjiyan changes his mind. Sanjiyan scolds him, telling him to go after Ayanokouji. She then 
summons Hong-Hyong. Meanwhile, Yohko awakens and finds herself in a sewer with Spazug. She 
demands to know who he is and attacks, but Spazug knocks her over. He tells her that only one 
person can calm her down, and that's Fujii Yakumo. Back in Mama-san's place, everyone is 
discussing Yohko's situation; that if she doesn't regain her memory soon, she will be killed by 
her own power. Pai has apparently broken bones (ribs?) and will need to rest. Just then, 
Hong-Nyong informs Yakumo that she knew the whereabouts of Yohko, and the two takes off ...

A Hint - The two find themselves in front of a sewer entrance. Yakumo orders Hong-Hyong to stay 
put while he goes inside. Inside, he does find Yohko, but feels the presense of two different 
youki. Was Yohko being controlled? Yohko tells Yakumo that she was Houasyou, and that she had 
the power to control water. Yakumo wonders if Ayanokouji had regained her memories. As she 
began to panic again, Yakumo embraces her in a hug, saying that she had him and everyone else 
on her side. Yohko's form suddenly changes as her other arm starts to grow scales as well. She 
attacks him, but Yakumo manages to dodge all attacks. Just as he was about to wake up her mind 
with a slap, Yohko's form returns to human and she begins to tear. She asks if he hates her, 
and Yakumo quickly tells her that isn't so. Meanwhile, Pai exclaims that Yakumo is in danger, 
and that is true. It seems that Yohko's tail has decided to meet Yakumo's body and embraced 
each other.

Water Sprite - Yakumo is choking, and he uses Kuan-Yaa to bind Yohko and escape. Yohko's 
clothes are tattered, and Yakumo goes off to find Spazug. Meanwhile, Pai, Steve, Ling-Ling and 
Mama-san are trying to get to the sewer by the means of a taxi, but the guards won't let them 
through the flood. Just then, they see a shadow run around the city. Back in the sewer, Yohko's 
claws also decided to meet Yakumo's body and digs themselve through. She dives under water, 
dragging the poor Wu with her. Back outside, Pai has apparently gotten out of the taxi and 
noticed Spazug sitting comfortably on a street light. She calls Yakumo telepathically, and the 
Wu realizes that the other youkai is above the land! He attacks him using Kuan-Yaa, slicing off 
his left arm ...

Showdown - Yakumo is tending to Yohko, looking sad. Just then, he noticed blood dripping onto 
his probably expensive shirt, and sees Spazug glaring back. The one armed youkai now demands 
revenge, and promptly attacks Yakumo. The Wu is knocked around like a pinball and finds his own 
left knee sliced off. Yakumo tries to summon a Beast, but his right arm is chopped off before 
he could say its name. Spazug decides to end the fight by setting the Wu on fire. Just then, 
Yohko appears, still wanting to drag Yakumo under water. Spazug ruthlessly knocks her out of 
the way and decides to kill her!!

It Wasn't a Dream - Spazug attacks, and Yohko is seemingly blown up. No such luck, as 
Ran-Pao-Pao took the shot for her! That shot had her fazed, and Spazug decides to kill them all 
together! Yakumo quickly jumps at the old guy, setting him on fire, too. But Spazug won't go 
down without a fight as he once again attacks Yohko/RPP! Yohko was conscious this time, and 
blocks away the attack with a claw. She tells Yakumo to get away, and water goes through Mr. 
Spazug. He was last seen floating in the sky. Later, Yakumo is seen floating around by 
himself -- until Yohko finds him and embraces him in a hug! She exclaims that this was real, 
and not a dream .. could she have regained her memory?

Even If I Knew, I Wouldn't Tell You - Everything is in peace once again, and Yakumo has 
apparently gone back to work at Smiley-Smiley. He remembers Pai's reaction when she saw a 
half-naked him with a fully naked Yohko and Hong-Nyong. He is innocent, he tells himself. Then, 
he decides to find Yohko but finds a naked Hong-Nyong instead. He clothes the little girl and 
draws characters on her face as a joke. The Wu then goes off to find Yohko, who happened to be 
in a classroom. As he was about to enter the room, he gets what's coming to him -- Hong-Nyong's 
deadly bite! Yohko laughs at this, but then gets serious. She tells him that she could never 
have imaged seeing Yakumo again after the fight in the Holy Land, signaling that she has gotten 
her memory back. She then tells Yakumo that Benares is indeed still alive. Yakumo asks her to 
visit Sanjiyan to find out where Benares is, but Yohko tells him that there's no use. She then 
takes off the towel that covered her and tells Yakumo to look at her back. Blushing furiously, 
he does, and Yohko tells him that there are no scars from Spazug's assault earlier. She then 
tells him that she has control over not just water, but all liquid in general. She is Houasyou, 
Ayanokouji Pai, and Ayanokouji Yohko. She also knows everything that has happened. Yakumo asks 
her for information about Benares, but Yohko replies that even if she knew, she wouldn't tell 
him. Not until the Wu gets stronger, anyway. She tells him to go to England where he'll train 
to get stronger, and kisses him. Just then, Pai drops by ...

Please Come Back! Pai! - Sanjiyan and Fei-Oh are in a spa. The food arrives, and Sanjiyan 
decides that she should call Yakumo and Houasyou to come eat. At that thought, what she'd seen 
when Yohko kissed Yakumo flew in her mind, and she throws the decision in the trash. Hong-Nyong 
and Fei-Oh digs in. Just then, she hears rustling nearby and gets suspicious ... Meanwhile, 
Yohko, Yakumo, Steve, Ling-Ling, and Mama-san are discussing about Benares and his men, as well 
as a 4000 years or so old man that has seen Benares' true form. It is ultimately decided that 
Yakumo must visit England to find this man. In a flashback, Sanjiyan has said that she won't be 
going. Steve wonders if that means the same for Pai? Yakumo tells him that ever since that 
"incident with Yohko", Pai hasn't come out. Yakumo is apparently more worried about Pai's 
feelings than going to England. Yohko cheers him up, and the two unknowingly knocks over a pile 
of floppy disks. Ling-Ling immediately notices, and screams at them. Later, Yakumo is pondering 
over things, and suddenly, a quick shadow speeds by him and everyone else! The Wu quickly gives 
chase, but it is ultimately Sanjiyan that stops it. The shadow turns out to be none other than 
Spazug's chopped hand! The hand reports that he is going to England to kill someone named 
Madurai. Sanjiyan finds this interesting and decides to go to England, too! Yakumo rejoices by 
hugging Yohko, and suddenly, Pai emerges and announces that she's going as well, but she also 
noticed the embracing Yakumo and Yohko ...
