Chapter Thirty:


Radio: You've done it now... you've gone and made a big mistake! And I can't allow... you to 
think you can just walk away! So turn around... and face the piper you're gonna pay! 'Cause the 
end is now... this is gonna be your judgement day!

The wind quietly blew in the air as everyone stared at the newcomer with their jaws on the 
ground. The guys were all in disbelief, with Yakumo especially freaked out. Why? Because this 
was yet *another* Sanjiyan Unkara that had emerged from seemingly nowhere!

Yakumo (still shocked): W-what did you say your name w-was again...?

The figure nodded at Yakumo as she responded.

Sanjiyan Unkara (^_^): My name is Nanako. Nice to meet you.

Ushasu (blinks): But... you're a Sanjiyan Unkara?

Nana-chan (nods): Um-hmm. A Sanjiyan Unkara, in the flesh! Just like you!

The gang all examined this newcomer. This "Nanako" had shoulder-length brownish-red hair, and 
her face was hidden behind a black mask with three eyeholes. In front of the mask where the nose 
and mouth would be was the Sanskrit "3" painted in red. Resting on her head was an odd black 
hairband made of metal, with designs of a dragon and a bird on it. Daped on each of her 
shoulders were two majestic black iron plates with many spikes extending out.

A design of a dragon/bird demon can be seen curved on each plate. Strips of silk material 
extended from the plates down to her back, as if portraying the feathers of a dark phoenix with 
the outfit. A long, single black sheet flowed down from the plates to her feet, concealing the 
shape of her body. Holding tightly in her right hand was a unique looking sword with the handle 
twisted and three sharp spikes on the each side. The Sanskrit "3" was also seen again, this time 
engraved into the metal with great detail.

Upon examining this mysterious figure, everybody ranging from Yakumo, Pai, Haan, Yohko, Ushasu, 
George all the way to Shiva, Benares, and Amara each had confused expressions. Who exactly was 
this person, and where did she come from?!

Haan (utterly confused): T-this is impossible! I thought most of the Sanjiyan Unkaras had been 
extinct for years! Slaughtered by Kaiyanwang, right?!

Yohko (also somewhat confused, but oddly rational): W-well, if I'm not mistaken, Seima-sama only 
barely managed to escape, and both Ushasu-san and Latori-san avoided that fate because they were 
not at Seichi at the time... b-but everyone else should be dead...

Shiva (through Teddy's speaker-voice): HEY, WHAT ABOUT ME?!

Amara (-_-;;): You were responsible for that piece of destruction, you moron.

Shiva (^^;): Oh yeah, that's right.

Another long pause came after that, and we can hear the wind blowing once again. All the humans 
that had came from the festival were gone now, and the only people at the scene were our Sazan 
friends; Shiva and his buddies inside giant Teddi-O-chan; and Nana-chan still standing by 
herself. Just then...

Sanjiyan (smirks): So, I see you're alive and well, Nana-chan.

Everyone snapped as they were caught offguard with Sanjiyan's sudden reappearance after so long. 
This prompted each of them to shout out her name in surprise, shock, and what have you.

Everyone (gasps): Sanjiyan!!

Sanjiyan (shrugs): Knock it off, I've only been away for 5 chapters. Anyway, I see that all of 
you are in a state of confusion, and it's understandable. Allow me to introduce you all to my 
old friend from Seichi, Nanako!

At that point, the mysterious Sanjiyan Unkara took off her mask to reveal a young and beautiful 
face. She had eyes near identical to Pai's, a small nose and a cute smile. Actually, she looked 
rather close to Pai, yet had her own distinctive features at the same time.

Nana-chan (bows in typical Japanese fashion): Hello, how do you do?

Suddenly, the giant Teddy bear known as Teddi-O-chan boosted up. It bounced around in a strange 
and crazy manner. Inside, Shiva had a look of bewilderment, and he was also jumping up and down 
wildly. His moves mirrored Teddi-O-chan's... or was it Teddi-O the one that's doing the 
mirroring? In the background, Benares and Amara looked at each other with raised eyebrows. Shiva 
then spoke through Teddi-O's speakers.

Shiva (speakers): WAIT A MINUTE! NANAKO?! AS IN NANA-CHAN?! AS IN... *THE* NANA-CHAN?!

Sanjiyan also had an eyebrow raised as she observed her old stuffed animal prancing around like 
a possessed monkey. What the hell? However, she could recognize that voice and knew that Shiva 
had taken control. She stroked her chin knowingly. Perhaps when Mutsumi had knocked him out with 
her watermelon attack back in chapter 25, Shiva's brains were scrambled, and he never came to? 
That certainly seems like the case...

Sanjiyan (points at Teddy): Umm... I suppose that's Shiva. Do you remember him?

Nana-chan had a disturbed look on her face. She looked up at the stuffed animal.

Nana-chan (O_o): Shiva? You mean Shiva as in the guy that became Kaiyanwang!?

Sanjiyan (nods): Yeah.

Nana-chan (tsk tsks): Really... and he's still acting weird like that? You'd think his 
personality would've altered somewhat after becoming Kaiyanwang! Sheesh!

Sanjiyan (grins): Well... maybe.

Nana-chan (nods): In any case, good thing I stopped him before he did anything to that human 
over there.

She points at George, who definitely noticed the attention and flashed her a flirty grin. 
However, unlike the women before, the grin had no effect on Nanako -- she even ignored him! 
George was stunned. Sanjiyan also reflected that same expression, although it wasn't the same 
reason as George's. Actually, it was the fact that Shiva went after some puny human. Shiva... 
going after humans...?? What the heck did she miss during these last few days?!

On the other hand, Shiva was not happy upon hearing of who was responsible for ruining his 
plans. He shook his fist at Nanako inside Teddi-O-chan, and the mechanical stuffed animal 
reflected it.

Shiva (through Teddi-O): SO IT WAS YOU THAT INTERFERED IN MY BUSINESS?! NANA-CHAN, DO YOU KNOW 
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?!

Nana-chan (smiles mockingly at Teddi-O): No, not really.

Shiva (in a whiny voice through Teddi-O): BUT I AM KAIYANWANG! THE KING OF ALL SANJIYAN UNKARA! 
YOU KNOW, THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION!

Nana-chan (sticks her tongue out :P): Pfffft! So what! You're still the same old weird Shiva to 
me, and you always will be! So nyyaaaahhhh! :P

Shiva (annoyed): @#$%^&*!! YOU STILL HAVEN'T CHANGED ANY!

In a fit of rage, Shiva threw his fist at the control panel of Teddi-O-chan. Teddi-O mirrored 
his move and threw a quick punch at Nana-chan below. Sanjiyan and the Sazan Gang dodged away in 
time, and Teddy's "fist" smashed a hole into the ground. This caused a lot of dust and debris to 
form; however, Nanako had already leaped high into the sky and avoided the assault. In fact, she 
had jumped so high that she was now suspended right in front of Teddi-O's face, and directly 
before Shiva. Nana-chan playfully stuck her tongue out at him and then, in one quick motion, 
made several swift swipes with her sword faster than the eye can see. She landed on the ground 
below, and then stabbed her sword into the ground to display a cool fighting stance.

Yohko (amazed): Whoa... did you guys see how high she jumped?!

Yakumo (also amazed): Yeah... Sanjiyan's friend is tough...

Haan (just as amazed): No kidding...

The giant Teddi-O-chan then glowed a bright yellow color, as if something had detonated and was 
getting ready to explode. Inside the control panel, Shiva panicked as he desperately punched 
and stomped on every button there was. No effect. In the background, Amara can be seen feeling 
the walls and mumbling for an escape hatch. Benares was one step ahead of him, though -- he 
already had his butter knife out and was curving his own exit! ^_^

Of course, their attempts were futile. Neither of these three men were fast enough to escape 
certain doom, and a few seconds later, there was the explosion.

Teddi-O-chan flashed shades of yellow, orange, and red before it ultimately blew into a million 
pieces. There was a loud sound of "KA-BOOM!" as pieces and debris flew everywhere. The Sazan 
Gang had all distanced themselves by now, since the colorful warning signs Teddi-O had displayed 
signaled its on-coming doom.

After the dust had settled, the guys and gals each returned to the site where Teddi-O was. They 
found Shiva, Benares, and Amara sitting on the ground in its place. All three of them scratched 
their heads and played with their thumbs nervously as they looked up to find an angry Ushasu 
glaring back at them. Make that an angry, transformed demon-form Ushasu.

Shiva (nervous smile): HEH... umm... hi, Mother-sama!

Ushasu (growls): Grrrr...

Amara (^_^): Errmm... long time, no see, Ushasu..! Err... Ushasu...*chan*?

Ushasu (growling): GRRRRRR...

Benares (O_O): M-Mother-sama! Y-you can't blame me! I-I was just following o-orders...!

Ushasu (still growling): GRRRRRRRR!!

Just as Ushasu was getting ready to slice their heads off with her razor sharp, 10-feet-long 
nails, she suddenly heard something behind her... something that made her not only stop in her 
tracks, but caused her to return to normal AND forced her to turn around. Whoa! What could be so 
special that even *Demon Ushasu* had to immediately transform back just to check out?!

Nana-chan (disgusted): Yuck, no! I don't want to date you! You're human!

George (slick smile): Aww, come on, baby doll!

Sanjiyan (=_=;): How embarrassing.

That's right, folks, Mr. George was at it again! And this time, he was flirting directly IN 
FRONT of Ushasu! Hmm... wait. No, technically, he didn't -- but hey, the point remains: this 
foolish playboy had dared to flirt with another woman, and he shamelessly did so in the presence 
of someone that he had already called a "girlfriend"! And worse yet, she was in the middle of 
defending his honor while the bastard did this!

Ushasu was speechless. Her eyes widen in disbelief as she stared at George, who was STILL trying 
to flirt with a now-peeved Nana-chan... even with Ushasu now watching him! Ushasu couldn't help 
but feel something in her heart... was it pain? Unfortunately, yes. That was exactly what it 
was. She felt heart-broken and betrayed.. and yet George didn't even seem to notice! Or care! 
The other Sazan guys all watched with dramatic looks on their faces.

George (grabs Nana-chan's hands): Oh baby, I just can't take it anymore!

Nana-chan (O_o;;): ......?

George (still holding her hands): Since you saved me from those heartless demons, you MUST let 
me thank you in the only way I know how! Come on! Let's go get a hotel room, just for you and I!

Nanako closed her eyes and silently fumed. She began to lament over why she had ever decided to 
save this worthless fool, and proceeded to think of the many ways to get rid of him. All of a 
sudden, she felt an extremely powerful youki close by, and her eyes instantly snapped open. She 
looked around for the source of this powerful energy.

Sanjiyan had also felt this uncanny power and was searching around as well. Yohko and Haan did 
the same. Just where was it coming from?! The first thing they had suspected was that perhaps it 
emitted from Ushasu, but they found out that wasn't the case. The poor woman just stood there 
helplessly in shock, watching her supposed lover make a fool out of himself. Sanjiyan, Yohko, 
Haan, and Nanako all continue to search, until suddenly... they each realized where exactly it 
came from.

Nana-chan (points off screen): It's... it's you!

Sanjiyan/Yohko/Haan (shocked and confused): ...Yakumo?!

Upon mentioning his name, all of their attention shifted their attention to him. The four had 
expected some kind of an answer as to where that power came from... however, Yakumo's face 
reflected the same look of confusion and curoiusity as everyone else. The only exception was 
that he was flashing a strange pale color, with a blue-green colored aura surrounding his entire 
being.

Yakumo (confused): W-what's going on?!

Haan (points at Yakumo): That looks familiar! But where have I seen it before...?

Yohko (strokes her chin): Say... doesn't that remind you of the time when Yakumo-san had 
absorbed Amara's power?

Yohko hit it right on the spot. Just as she had completed her observation, a tall, pale skinned 
figure walked past her and stood in front of Yakumo. It was none other than Amara himself, and 
he had an ANGRY look his face. If looks could kill, that was IT. Yakumo looked up at Amara with 
an intimidated look on his face. Yohko, Haan, and even Sanjiyan and Nanako mirrored the same 
expression on their faces.

Amara (places one hand on Yakumo's shoulder): I'm here to take my powers back, Yakumo Fujii. 
Even deep within your soul-less being, my powers have sensed my anger and desire to correct an 
injustice. It demands to reunite with my body so that I may proceed to aid someone in need.

Yakumo (somewhat intimidated): Uhh... you sure are acting differently than usual --

Amara (PISSED/IMPATIENT): RETURN MY POWERS AT ONCE!

Yakumo (freaked): ACK! Okay, okay! You got it!

Yakumo nodded his head again and again to illustrate his agreement. However, he noticed just 
then that Amara no longer had his attention on him -- yes, his hand was still grabbing onto 
Yakumo's shoulder, but his head had turned to focus on where Ushasu was. Over there, that George 
guy was STILL trying to sweet-talk Nanako, even if Nana-chan had no longer paid any attention to 
him. Yakumo looked at Amara's face, and found him sneering angrily. Holy crap. O_O

Yakumo (thinks and mumbles to himself): ...so that's why Amara is so eager to have his powers 
back...

At this point, Amara returned his attention to Fujii, and Yakumo nodded with a grin. Amara said 
no further. His heady eyes flashed a sudden white color, and static electricity can be seen 
traveling on the arm where his hand rested upon Yakumo. Yakumo felt jolts of shock, but he 
endured it. More and more electric energy flared on Yakumo and Amara's arm, until suddenly, it 
abruptly stopped. Yakumo fell to the ground and took a breather while Amara clenched his fists. 
His casual outfit had transformed into a white sheet that covered his entire body. Zakks of 
lightning energy sparkled as Amara regained his magic and powers once again!

Everyone watched with excitment as Amara approached George. Sanjiyan had an interested smirk on 
her face, as did Haan. Yohko looked worried; with Amara now in 100% control of his powers, she 
could sense that with he easily rivaled Benares in skill, and that might or might not be a good 
thing. Speaking of the devil, Benny and Shiva suddenly appeared out of nowhere and stood in 
front of the good guys. They both had their arms crossed and smirked confidently as they 
watched.

Meanwhile, George STILL had Nanako's hands in his gripe, and he refused to let her go. But just 
then...

Ushasu (...): Umm........

However, the human paid her no mind. He was insistent on scoring with Nana-chan, and even stood 
as low as making stupid looking "kissy faces" at her! This harmed Ushasu even more, as now she 
realized that she didn't even warrant an existence in George's frame of mind!

At that point, Nanako smiled mischeviously at George, of whom took it as a positive sign. His 
eyes turned into heart-shapes and a grin formed on his face. But before he could celebrate, he 
felt a tap on his shoulder. George ignored it at first, but then he noticed an ominous shadow 
casting over his being. That caused him to slowly and dreadfully turn his head around. As he 
did, he found Amara staring right back at him.

George (nervous): Uhhmmm... hi?

Amara, with shadows covering his face, extended the palm of his hand out directly at George. Mr. 
George stared at the palm with nervousness.

George (nervously jokes): W-what's this? H-heh, do you want a high 5 or something?

George turns his head to share the joke with Nanako, but suddenly found her nowhere to be 
found?! What the?! When did she escape?! And where?! He looked around and found her standing 
between Sanjiyan, Shiva, and Benares. He smirked and took off after her, passing by Ushasu on 
the way. Ushasu turned her head at him sadly as he strolled by; however, he didn't even 
ackowledge her..!

That did it. Amara immediately charged up an odd looking energy ball from his palm! The tiny 
ball blinked, displaying a single eyeball in the center. It stared menancingly towards George. 
George looked at the ball with a disturbed look on his face. Amara's eyes then flashed, and the 
small ball suddenly discharged from his palm! Almost instantly, the ball expanded rapidly in 
size and absorbed George inside! Amara grunted, then slapped the ball up into the air with his 
hand, handball style!

The Sazan guys quickly dodged out of the way as they watched the powerful "Eye-Ball" launch up 
into the air! George had a bewildered look on his face as he began to soar into the air with 
amazing speed! Shiva and Benares smiled evilly and waved "bye-bye" at the ascending ball. Shiva 
then nodded at Benares, signaling something to the Dragon Wu. Benares returned the gesture, and 
then summoned his Kuan-Yaa to beef up the damage! Benares' Kuan-Yaa smashed onto George and the 
"Eye-Ball", and a loud explosion ensued!

KA-BOOOOMM!!!
