Chapter Twenty Nine: Radio: Life, threatening lifestyles! A hitman! A nun! Lovers. Life, threatening lifestyles! A hitman! A nun! Lovers. Arise as did the God Ninti! Arise as did the God Ninti! Arise as did the God Ninti! And Ishkar! The view is the sky of Satan City's skyscapers. They stood tall on the city, with sunlight hitting them and reflecting off of their windows. Suddenly, we see a single dark blur zipping away from one building to another in an amazing speed. Whomever it was, he/she apparently zoomed so fast that it looked as if he/she was teleporting from one place to another. The figure continued zipping away, and from far away we can see its destination -- the festival at Satan City. Speaking of that... As if playing a parody of the old Godzilla and King Kong movies, there stood a giant monster in the middle of Satan City. It carried on the torch of its past Godzilla and King Kong monsters with the way it invaded and attacked the city. Yet this creature was even more fearful than its predessors... for this demon from the depths of Hell was none other than a giant Teddy Bear! People on the streets below cried in fear and ran away. It waved its stubby arms around, punching and knocking down the buildings on the side. It roared, screeching with a high pitch voice and making ears bleed. A third eye on its forehead glowed blood red just like the two below. From the teddy bear's point of view, they looked like tiny ants. And that was exactly what Shiva saw as he controlled his giant robot that his Father-sama made inside that third eye. Shiva (manical laughter): BWAHAHAHAHAHA! RUN, COWARDS! FEAR THE WRATH OF THE SKY ABOVE! That was what Shiva screamed as he pushed the joystick control downward. Down came the giant fists of the teddy bear, punching a giant hole in the ground below. Shiva snickered again, then pressed a couple of buttons on the left side. Then he moved the joystick to the right, and the giant teddy made a swift left kick to the nearest building. Shiva (evil laughter): BWAHAHAHAHAHA! FEEEEEEL MY WRATH! In the background, Amara yawned in boredom as he watched his little boy played around with the city. He was sitting on a custom made couch that could also be turned into a bed. He had to admit that he was somewhat disappointed. I mean, who would've thought that when his son said he was going to protect his Mother-sama, that he meant he had plans to eliminate her boyfriend? And better yet, who would've thought that Shiva needed some giant blown-up stuffed animal to do the job when he himself or his Wu were perfectly capable? Jeez... * * * Obviously, upon seeing a giant teddy bear causing rampage among the city, all the fun and games in the festival paused as people took the time to scream and cry in fear. Haan looked into the air with one of his eyebrows raised. There was a giant... teddy bear... with three eyes... destroying the city. Uh... huh. Haan (sarcastic): Riiiiight... Yohko (stunned yet excited): Man! You don't see THAT everyday! While everyone was in their comatose state of shock, no one was even more so than Pai. Why the special treatment? Simple, because she had recognized that giant teddy bear! It was near identical to the one that her mommy gave her when she was a little girl; the one that she gave to Shiva as a birthday present during the Sanjiyan Birthday Party Bash a few hundred years ago. The only difference was this one had glowing red eyes, and it was obviously 50x bigger than the one she fondly remembered. Pai (shocked): Teddi-O-chan! Yakumo (looks at Pai in confusion): ...huh? Yes, Pai? Pai (points at the giant bear): No! Pai didn't mean Yakumo! Pai meant the giant monster! That's my old Teddi-O-chan! Yakumo (even more confused): ...wha? Pai (determined look on her face): Pai knows who's controlling that monster! Follow Pai! Yakumo (still confused, but nevertheless follows): Oookaaay. Let's go, then! With that, Pai ran off in the direction of the giant stuffed animal. Yakumo followed her with identical speed. Yohko, with her ever-so-sharp eye, noticed the duo's sudden interest in running and demanded Haan to follow. Of course, Haan resisted. Haan (folds his arms and rationally explains): Yohko, just because the two of them decided that they wanna commit suicide doesn't mean we should either. Yohko (points at Pai/Yakumo): Oh, come on, Haan! I bet they've found a way to stop that thing! Haan (ever-so-rational tone): So let them be, I say. I'm sure they've got it all figured out. They don't need us. Yohko (glares at Haan): Haan, if you don't go with me now, then... hmph! At that point, the Snake Demon quickly whispered something inaudible in his ear. Something that made the Merchant's face turn into various shades of red. Now throughoutly convinced on why he should run, he sped off to follow Pai and Yakumo, grabbing Yohko with him. Within minutes, they caught up with Pai and Yakumo, both of whom were now in close distance with the giant Teddy Bear. Pai (cheerful): Haan! Ayanokouji! Yohko (smirks): Hey, guys. Glad to see we made it. Haan (glares at the monster): Yeah yeah yeah. So what do we do to stop this thing? Yakumo (looks at Pai): I don't know, maybe a Kuan-Yaa. Pai? Pai (looks at monster): No! Kuan-Yaa can't stop that thing, because it is controlled by Shiva! Haan (O_O): WHAT!? Yohko (O_O): S-S-Sh... Of course, at the mention of Shiva, everybody's jaws dropped. Just as they thought they were *finally* done with Shiva and Benares, it seems they've popped up again. Yakumo (smacks forehead): Oh God, why won't they leave us alone... Suddenly, out of nowhere flashed Benares, standing in front of our heroes. His sudden appearance startled our heroes, which caused the giant Wu to smirk smuggly. He folded his arms and looked at our heroes. Benares (smirking): Contrary to your beliefs, Kaiyanwang-sama and I are not here for you or Parvati at all. As a matter of fact, we did not even expected any of you to be here. Yakumo (surprised): What? You guys weren't? But then...? Ushasu (from behind Yakumo): They're here for us, that's who!! Yakumo (startled again): Ack! What the!? Ushasu had also teleported to where everybody was, just as Benares had. Standing behind her was a confused and frightened George, and rightfully so. His eyes were just wide open as he stared in horror at the giant stuffed animal monster. The giant Teddi-O-chan then paused its rampage and stood still just before our heroes. Using its stubby legs, it slowly walked over to George. George (O_O): Ga-ga-ga-w-w-w-whaa? The Teddi-O-chan raised one arm into the air, and it crumbled its fist. George, now merely 10 feet away, continued to stare at the teddy in shock. Beads of sweat formed on his face. At that point, Ushasu had enough. To everybody's surprise, she walked in front of George and shield him with herself just as the teddy bear was about to land the killing blow. Ushasu (majorly pissed off): RUDO! YOU STOP THIS AT ONCE! The teddy's fist stopped immediately. It hung its arm in mid-air. Inside the stuffed animal, Shiva was stroking his chin with his hand and pondering his next move. He stared at his mother and George through Teddi-O-chan's inner binocular-vision. Hmm... he had originally wanted to just squash the guy like a bug and get things over with, but now with his mother acting like a human shield, that was going to be near impossible. But what other options are there? Shiva (stumped): Damn it, man! Why does she have to make things so complicated, Father-sama?! Amara (shrugs): Because she's Ushasu, that's why. Why can't you just command your Wu to pick up the guy and separate him from everyone else? Then you can probably kill him easily. Shiva's eyes grew wide open as he realized what his father had just suggested was pretty good. No wonder Amara was his Father-sama; they both share the same manical genius brain! Shiva (smirks): That's an excellent suggestion, Father-sama! I shall do just that, and command Benny to teleport George here! Mother-sama would not be able to intervent then, and neither would Parvati and her little friends because no one is allowed entry without my permission! Amara (shrugs again): Just do what you gotta do, although I personally wouldn't underestimate your mom. I mean, after all, she IS Ushasu -- Shiva (ignores Amara): Shut up already. Amara (-_-): ........ Shiva (smirks evilly): And now, to demonstrate my magical psychic powers. With a touch of a button, the teddy bear's eyes suddenly glowed bright red. A tiny yellow spell circle can be seen in each eyes. The eyes glowed brighter with each passing second, and our friends are left to wonder what was going on. Haan (stares at glowing eyes): What's he planning to do now?? In the back, Benares smirked. He folded his large arms and nodded his head in affirmative. The teddy's eyes abruptly stopped glowing, and the spell circle disappeared all together. The Sazan Gang are all puzzled as to the sudden change. What's going on? George (muffled scream): MMMMMMFFF!! MMMMMFF! Everyone turned to see George, and to their shock, found him now gagged with a sock and tied up tightly with a lot of ropes. Benares had also grew at least twice in size, and had grasped Georgie-boy with the palm of his hands. Yakumo (shocked): What just happened?! Yohko (also shocked): Just how exactly did Benares get to him in so little time?! Benares only smirked evilly in response. Just then, we hear a loud booming voice that resembled Shiva's. The gang all looked up at Teddi-O-chan in confusion. Shiva (through Teddi-O's speaker-voice): BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! FOOLS! YOU SEE, THIS MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION THAT FATHER-SAMA HAD CREATED OUT OF A STUFFED ANIMAL IS ALMIGHTY! IT DOES NOT ONLY POSSESS MYSTICAL POWERS FAR BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION, BUT IT CAN ALSO CONTROL TIME WITH A TOUCH OF A BUTTON! BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! Benares (calmly explains): Heh... and while you scum were all too fascinated with the great Kaiyanwang-sama's creation, he took the liberty of pausing time and allowing me to steal this fool effortlessly. As well, I'd also used the chance to accquire some frosty chocolate shakes, and now I am twice as large as before! Everyone stared at Benares in shock as he tossed George's body into the air like he was tossing a baseball. Ushasu, however, wasn't pleased. Ushasu (glares at Benares): Benares, you put George down and you put him down RIGHT NOW! Benares (frowns): I'm sorry, Mother-sama, but I cannot. It would be against Kaiyanwang-sama's orders. Ushasu (turns to Teddi-O): RUDO! You'd better stop this now! Shiva (Teddi-O-chan's speaker-voice): IT IS TOO LATE, MOTHER-SAMA! THIS PLAN HAS CONSUMED TOO MUCH OF MY ENERGY AND POWER! IT CANNOT BE STOPPED! BENARES! I WILL NOW TELEPORT YOU AND THAT FOOL INTO MY ROBOT! DO NOT LOSE HIM! Ushasu (in a sing-song voice): Rudo-kun... mommy's getting really pissed off right now... Benares (hesitates): Umm... Kaiyanwang-sama, are you sure it's wise to anger our dear Mother-sama? Her hair is dancing and waving wildly... Shiva (speaker-voice): YES... I CAN SEE. BUT SHE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT HER BOYFRIEND IS EVIL, AND MUST BE TERMINATED! NOW, ARE YOU READY TO BE BEAMED? Benares (nods): I suppose so... Shiva (speaker-voice): EXCELLENT! FATHER-SAMA, PUSH THAT BUTTON! And with that, Teddi-O-chan's mouth opened with mechanical whirring and other neat sound effects. A light red beam emitted from the mouth and onto Benares' being. He then slowly accended up into the air. As he was moving up, he took one last look at Ushasu, and it was a horrific sight to behold. Her hair was wavering wildly, and her eyes had also become bright red. Endless sharp fangs replaced teeth. A glowing ki flowed around her body. Benares (O_O): Eeep. After a second or so, Benares entered Teddi-O-chan's mouth and slowly disappeared within. Ushasu was prepared to jump after ol' Benny, until... George (on the ground.. ungagged and untied?!): Uhm... what's going on? Ushasu (pauses in shock): EH?! Nope, it wasn't an illusion. George stood right next to Ushasu, his face also reflecting some sort of confusion. His tuxedo had no marks on it, and his hair was perfectly combed as if showing no signs of ever being kidnapped. Stranger still, HE had a look of confusion as if he had expected to be up inside Teddi-O-chan as well. Ushasu (shocked and confused): G-George?! George (also confused): Uhhh...? Inside Teddi-O-chan, everyone else were just as shocked. Shiva's eyes had bogged out and his jaws dropped as he watched the scene below through Teddy's eyes. He snapped his head around to look at Benares, who was just as confused, standing right behind his chair. He still had one hand out and curled, as if he had been holding onto something. Amara, too, had no idea what was going on as well. Back to the scene below, our friends were just as surprised. Pai (points at Teddi-O): Pai could swear that Benares-san still had George-san in his hand when he flew up!? Yakumo (rubs his chin): Me too, Pai. I suppose maybe Benares dropped him on the way, but we didn't see that... Yohko (fold arms): Hmm... not to mention that George should still be gagged and tied if that had been the case. Yet he's not. Haan (closes eyes and points behind him): I think I've just found the answer. Someone's here. At that point, everybody quickly turned to look behind Haan. And their jaws dropped when they found out who was waiting for them... It was a Sanjiyan Unkara. Sanjiyan Unkara (smiles and waves): Hi, minna-san! My name is Nanako! * * * END OF CHAPTER 29
