"OF COURSE a human can be made Sanjiyan by the Humanity Ritual!!!" Chapter Fifteen: Radio: ... Dead I am the night! Digging through the skin! Knuckles crack the bone! Twenty-one to win! ... Dead I am the dog! Hound Dog hell you cry! Devil on your back! I can never die! Previously ... Benares (also summons): Come out now!! Kuan-Yaa!! A smirk formed on Neko-chan's face as she saw the dragon-headed beam heading towards her. She couldn't believe how dumb Benares was. She had taken cared of his Kuan-Yaa once, and she can do it again. She raised her hand in front of the coming beast magic. Neko-chan (smirks): In-Yaa!! Now!! The dark colored beam escaped from her hand and charged at the light colored beam. However, milli-seconds before they were supposed to make contact, Kuan-Yaa somehow changed directions and turned left of In-Yaa!! Neko-chan hadn't expected this and was surprised. And because of her slow reaction, she couldn't think of another defense in time. Kuan-Yaa made contact with her body and an explosion ensued. BOOM!! Down on the ground, Benares' grin grew again as he watched the orange explosion and black smoke. Slowly, the debris and smoke cleared. Neko-chan was nowhere to be seen in the air, ground, or anywhere in between. Benares tsk-tsked and spoke in a disappointed tone of voice. Benares (sighs): And for a second I thought you were a worthy opponent. How disappointing. * * * Silence overcame the battleground as the debris and smoke settled. On the ground, Benares placed his hands into his jeans pocket and began to walk back inside the mansion. After all, the fight was over. And it was time that he prepared the second Humanity Ritual. Just then, Benares paused. He sensed a familiar youki standing behind him ... Neko-chan (heavy breathing): Going ... somewhere ...? Neko-chan had her right hand on her left shoulder. Blood dripped down from that shoulder down to her hand. Her left eye was also closed. Her brown ninja outfit and white skirt were ragged, no doubt the result of the Kuan-Yaa. Her white bandana was also gone, probably ripped to shreds. Bruises could be seen on her face, arms, and legs. Red smoke slowly emitted from her body. Neko breathed heavily as she stared at Benares' back. With his back remained towards her, Benares began to laugh. Neko-chan took offense and glared at the dragon Wu. Benares (laughs): Heh, I must say that I'm surprised. That was ... heh ... my most powerful Kuan-Yaa yet, and you survived it. But ... heh ... hahahahaha! Neko-chan (glares): What ... the hell ... is so funny!? Promptly, Benares stopped laughing. He pulled his hands outta his jean pockets and folded his arms. His back was still facing towards Neko-chan as he began to speak. Benares (folds arms): Hehe ... what's funny is that you still want to fight me in that weak condition. Heh ... do you even realize that you stand no chance of beating me right now? Neko-chan continued to glare at the Wu. As much as she wanted to deny it, deep down, she knew that Benares was right. If she continued to fight him right now, she'd only get plummeled into the ground. That definitely won't help Latori-sama any ... At once, Neko-chan dropped to her knees. Blood and swear poured from her face as she breathed heavily to catch her breath. Damn him, she thought as she looked up and growled. However, Neko was a little confused. If Benares' master was supposedly weakening, then just how did Benares remain so powerful?? Something wasn't right ... Benares turned his face to look at Neko-chan. He chuckled some more, and then resumed his walk back inside the mansion. But before he was out of Neko-chan's sight ... Benares (waves "see ya"): I suggest you release all of your beasts now because soon you'll no longer be a Wu. I wouldn't like to see someone as cute as you lose all of your life energy! Neko-chan (looks up): Arrghhh ... * * * Inside Mr. Satan's mansion, Youko and Haan were still staring at the door, dumbfounded. Just then, Haan realized something VERY important. Haan (realizes): Oh, no!! I just realized something important!! Youko (nods): Yeah, Haan ... I know. I can sense it, too. Neko-chan just lost the fight with Benares and now he's coming back into the mansion. He's getting ready to set up the second Humanity Ritual!! Haan (confused): Eh? Who cares about that! Youko (...): Huh? Haan (worried): What I'm worried about is ... is ... am I still a Sanjiyan Unkara?? I mean, if I'm not, then does this mean that you're ... you're ... It was then that Youko Ayanokouji realized something far, far more horrifying than the Humanity Ritual II. Shiva regaining his powers and destroying the world? Hah! That's nothing compared to this. This was far more gruelsome, more terrifying than anything Shiva can do. This was the ultimate evil. This was ... Youko (horrified look): Oh nooo ... tell me it's not true ... Haan (horrified look): You're ... you're ... Sanjihaan's Wu!!?? A flash of lightning can be seen in a pitch black background. A beat of "DUM DUM DUM!!" can be heard. Thunder rumbling can also be heard. It was like a revelation in one of those really old detective movies. The black background faded and the scene returned to our friends. Except that Youko was on her knees, weeping. Haan was on one knee and comforting her. Oh yeah, and the color faded and became just black and white for some reason. Youko (weeping): ... no! No! NO! Haan (sighs): It's alright, lovely. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm still a Sanjiyan Unkara. Youko (grabs her hair in frustration): But what if you're right, Haan?! What if you've become human again!? Do you know what that means!? That means I'm Sanjihaan's Wu!! I don't want to be his Wu!! No, no, no!! Do you understand the pain this puts me through!?!? Do you have any idea!? ...... and so on, and so on. Mr. Kai (nervous look): Haha, yeah ... I guess they are a BIT out of character, aren't they? Heh. * * * Across the street from Satan Mansion were three shadowy figures standing in front of what seemed to be a laboratory. They were Shiva, Ushasu, and Latori. Yet they stood in front of the entrance instead of going inside. Why? You'll see. Ushasu (confused): The door is unlocked. Why is it unlocked? Latori (looks): Maybe someone's inside? Shiva (!): But you said nobody would be in there at this hour, mother! Ushasu (confused): Of course I said that. This place closes at 6pm, and it's already 7:10pm! Latori (suggest): Hey, maybe somebody just forgot to lock it? Shiva (annoyed): Arrgh, who cares! Let's just get inside and get this over with! So without warning, Shiva kicked the door open with his mighty right foot. However, the very second that the door opened, Shiva found a surprise waiting for him. Shiva (eep): Pai!? Yep, standing in front of Shiva was the one and only Parvati IV! Yakumo and Amara stood behind her. All of them had a look of shock and surprise. Shiva (nervous): W-w-w-w-w-what are y-y-y-y-y-you guys doing here!? Yakumo (shocked): Kaiyanwang! Pai and I were just leaving and then you kicked the door open! At once, Shiva dropped to his knees and cursed his luck. He was SO close to beginning the Humanity Ritual, and those cursed brats just HAD to show up! Shiva (whispers to himself): Why, God? Why? Why won't you let me regain my powers? Why? What is so wrong about world destruction? What? Tell me! Yuzo Takada (appears from nowhere): Shaddup, you! I'm not in control of this story! It's that other guy that's playing with you! Err, what's his name again? Shiva (O_o;;): ........ Ushasu (...): Uhm ... can somebody tell me what's going on? The second after Ushasu finished speaking, all eyes were on her. Pai, Yakumo, and especially Amara's. Pai (shocked): Yakumo! Look! Pai sees a Sanjiyan Unkara! Yakumo (notes Latori): Yeah, and there's another one! Ushasu/Latori (=_=;;): ........ Amara (O_O): Eep. That little sound Amara made caused the shift of attention to focus on him. Nervous sweat poured from his head. Ushasu recognized him instantly. Ushasu (recognizes): YOU! AMARA! Amara (O_O;;): Oh, no. Oh, God, no ...! Almost instantly, Ushasu made a leap from standing in front of the laboratory and right in front of Amara. Being a Sanjiyan Unkara, she had extraoridinary speed, so Amara never had a chance to make an escape. By the time Ushasu was standing next to him, Amara prayed for a swift and painless death. But instead, he ... gets a hug from her? What the hey? Ushasu (hugging): It's been a long time! Amara (confused): Eh? Of course, Amara wasn't the only one that's confused. Everyone else in the room -- Pai, Yakumo, Shiva, and Latori -- they, too, were confused. Hell, I think I'm confused. Amara (still confused): Wha ... what's ... going on? Why ... aren't I dead yet? Ushasu (smiles): Oh, don't be silly. How could I kill YOU? You gave me my Rudo! Shiva (perks): Eh? Finally, after some more embracing, Ushasu got off of Amara and motioned for Shiva to come forward. Shiva scratched his head and walked to his mother and the strange guy in the golf pants. Ushasu (points at Amara): Rudo dear, this is your ... umm ... well, I guess you could say he's your father. Amara (O_O;;;;;): WHAT!?!? Of course, everybody else was just as stunned as Amara. Yakumo (O_O;;): Kaiyanwang's f-f-f-father ...?? Pai (O_O;;): Shiva's ... father? ... Latori (O_O;;): Wow ... At first, Shiva was also stunned and perplexed. But then he calmed down before everyone else did and looked at Amara. A smile formed on his face. Shiva (smiles): Hello, father. Amara, however, was still stunned. His eyes were still widen and his jaws still on the floor. Amara (O_O;;;;;): Whaaa ... whaaa ... Yakumo (whispers to Pai): Today is full of surprises, huh? Pai. Pai (slowly nods): Yeah ... yeah ... Latori (smiles): Wow, isn't this a great day? First Ushasu reunites with her son, then Neko- chan came back from her training. And now Ushasu and Rudo reunites with Amara! Now I can't wait for the Humanity Ritual! Yakumo (suddenly perks): What!? Pai (suddenly perks): What!? Shiva (covers his face): Oh, no. Ushasu (smirks): Yeah, let's begin! Come now, Rudo. And with that, Ushasu and Latori both began to find a place to set up for the ceremony. Shiva remained where he was, because he was pretty sure that the ritual wasn't gonna happen now. Well, of course, not. Yakumo and Pai will obviously object to the second coming of the Humanity Ritual! Yakumo (raises hand): Um, excuse me, ma'am. Ushasu, right? Hi, my name's Yakumo, and her name is Pai. Can we talk to you? Ushasu (turns around): Hmm? Oh, hi. You're gonna have to excuse me because I'm busy right now. Yakumo (scratches head): Oh, yeah, ma'am, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. You see, we can't allow you to perform the ceremony. Ushasu (!): And why not? Pai (O_O;;): Because Shiva will regain his powers and destroy the world! Pai and Yakumo must save the world from Shiva! Ushasu (heartily chuckles): Oh, come on. Shiva isn't really going to destroy the world or anything! Yakumo (!!): But ma'am! How do you know for sure!? Uh-oh. That last comment there ... Yakumo shouldn't have said that. Why? Well, Ushasu didn't exactly have a pleasant look on her face when she heard it ... Ushasu (unpleasant look): Are you trying to say I don't know my own son!?!? Yakumo (eep): Huh? No! I never said that! But it was too late! Ushasu had already taken offense to that, and she began to change shape! Her eyes turned red, her skin became pale, and her nails grew four times their sizes!! Yakumo and Pai had a look of fear and regret as they witnessed this transformation! Latori (smacks forehead): Oh, no ... not again! Ushasu slowly walked towards Yakumo and Pai, stalking them. The two backed away step by step. Latori sighed and Shiva actually had a bright look on his face. Amara was still shocked. At that point, the entrance door swung open and a shadowy figure walked in. Everybody turned their attentions to the figure. Sanjihaan (folds arms): Hahahahaha! I, Sanjihaan, the greatest power in the Universe, has arrived! The second after Sanjihaan announced his arrival, all interest was lost to him. Ushasu resumed stalking Yakumo and Pai, Shiva sat on the floor and resumed whining, and Latori resumed sighing. Sweat beads began to form on Sanjihaan's face. Sanjihaan (sweats): Uhh ... I said, the greatest power in the Universe has arrived! Ushasu took a swipe at Yakumo and Pai. Yakumo pulled Pai's hand and jumped off from the attack, taking her with him. At this point, Sanjihaan became impatient. How the hell could a bunch of fools not care for the greatest power in the Universe!? How!? That's just not right!! Well, he'll show them! Sanjihaan walked inside the laboratory and decided that the best way to demonstrate his power was to cause havoc. So he looked for the first thing he'll destroy. That happened to be the Ningen no Zou. Sanjihaan (looks at the statue): Haha! Now you fools will witness my power! With his right fist raised, Sanjihaan prepared to smash the Ningen no Zou with his fist! However, the milli-second that he threw the punch, the statue disappeared from his view! Sanjihaan was confused. He looked around, and the statue was clearly gone. But where and how did it disappear?? Shiva (places statue on the floor): Idiot. Sanjihaan turned to find the Ningen no Zou neatly placed next to Shiva, who had remained his position sulking on the floor. Sanjihaan took offense to Shiva's nonexistence fear of him. Sanjihaan (offended): Hey, you! How dare you mock me! Shiva (shakes head): Ah, bugger off. Sanjihaan (still offended): Hey! I'm the greatest power known to the Universe! You should be worshipping the ground I stand on! Shiva (O_o;;): Yeah, whatever you say. Sanjihaan (=_=;;): ........ Sanjihaan finally realized that he'll never make a wimp out of Shiva, so he decided to focus his attention to someone else. He looked around the lab to find a familiar figure ... one that caused a fear in even him. But only a little bit, because Sanjihaan is, without a shadow of a doubt, the single greatest entity in the Universe! Anyway ... Sanjihaan (stares at transformed Ushasu): Wha ... what is that woman doing here ...?? Ushasu was still stalking Yakumo and Pai, both of whom were still trying to reason with her. But it obviously wasn't working, so they had better start finding that will before they run out of room to back from. Sanjihaan looked around the lab again and found Amara, still frozen in shock. His jaws were still on the floor. Sanjihaan smirked. He knew that Amara was probably already too terrified of his being, so no need for additional fright there. Sanjihaan moved on his search and finally found the perfect target! Standing in the corner and smiling brightly was Latori! She had a happy expression on her face, which contradicted the look of fear that Sanjihaan demanded. Well, Sanjihaan will right that wrong, and soon she shall show the proper emotions! Sanjihaan (evil laughter): Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!! * * * END OF CHAPTER 15
