"OF COURSE a human can be made Sanjiyan by the Humanity Ritual!!!" Chapter Eleven: Radio: What is it really that's going on here? You've got the system for total control! So is there anybody out there? Now watch us suffer, yeah, cuz we can't go! ... What is it really that is in your head, what little life that you had just died! ... I'm gonna be the one that's taking over, now this is what it's like when worlds collide!! Previously ... Shiva (chuckles): Heh heh ... I can easily tell you that there IS someone better than you. In fact, I'm pretty sure he's been alive longer than you, too! Neko-chan (offended): What did you say!? Youko (slaps forehead): Oh, boy. Instantly, Youko knew who Shiva was referring to. Come on, when it comes down to it, there was only one suitable person that Shiva was talking about. Think about it! Who else would it be!? Youko sighed in relief. Thank God he was lost in the city, otherwise it would be total chaos if he was in the same room! Suddenly, Neko-chan gasped in surprise. The others looked at her. Neko-chan (gasps): There's a powerful youki coming this way! Unbelievable! Youko sighed. She could sense the youki herself, and knew exactly who it belonged to ... * * * An hour had finally passed, and Benares walked back to the factory lab. When he got there, Amara was just walking out of the lab. He worn casual clothes (stripe t-shirt and golf pants), which kinda made him look ridiculous. Benares (waves): Yo! Amara turned around and saw the approaching Benares. Amara (looks): Hey! I was just leaving. You ready to go to Tokyo? Benares (shakes head): Actually, I had a change of plans. Instead of going to Tokyo, I'd like you to take me to Satan Mansion. Do you happen to know where that is? Amara (O_O;;;): S-Satan ... M-Mansion ...!? Upon hearing the words "Satan Mansion", beads of sweat slowly became visible on Amara's face. He certainly remembered what happened years ago with that crazy Ushasu lady ... Amara (O_O;;;): Uhhmmm ... w-why would you wanna go ... t-there ...!?!? Benares (smirks): I'd like to see Ushasu and Latori. I have a ... personal ... matter I'd like to speak with them. Amara gluped in horror. That name ... good God! He didn't REALLY have to take him there, right? The answer was .. nope. Amara realized that quickly when he noticed that Satan Mansion was just across the street. He pointed it out to Benares. Benares (confused): Eh? What's that? Amara (points): That's S-Satan M-Mansion. Just go across and ring the bell. I'm sure s-someone will answer ya. Uhm, well, see ya! And with that, the skinny dude bolted off and away. Benares turned around to find him already out of sight. He shrugged, then crossed the street to Satan Mansion. * * * Inside Satan Mansion's lobby, the same butler that had greeted Neko-chan was now greeting some- one else. The other guy had spikey blonde hair, a scar on his face, and a worn blue vest and a white turtleneck. Butler (bows): Welcome to Satan Mansion. Haan (annoyed): Yeah, yeah. I heard that Ushasu and Latori lives here? Where are they? Butler (points to staircase): Ushasu-samam and Latori-sama are both in the 5th floor dining room. They are tending to their guests. May I suggest you wait until they are finished? Haan (annoyed): No, you may not! Haan then walked up the stairs and proceeded to go to the 5th floor ... without knowing where the dining room was. The butler watched him, but didn't do anything. Just then, there was a doorbell. He went to get it. He opened the door, and before him stood a muscular man in a black tanktops and blue jeans. Butler (...): Can I help you? Benares (looks around): Listen, is there a Ushasu and/or Latori that lives here? Butler (nods): Yes. They are busy dining with guests at the moment. May I suggest you come in and wait? Benares (shrugs): Okay. And so, the mighty Wu went inside the mansion and sat on the sofa. He had enough time on his hand, so he waited. He was supplied with a television, food, drinks, and all that. Benares put his arms behind and his head and relaxed ... * * * Haan walked around the 5th floor and looked inside every room. He obviously couldn't find the room, and was lost. And he was annoyed. Haan (annoyed): Damn it! Just how many rooms are there in this stupid mansion!? He came upon a room and opened the door. Nope, no one there except clothes. He walked down and opened another one. Again, no, just a toilet, sink, and bathtub. He tried another, and was greeted with pans, stoves, and other cooking utensils. Haan (very annoyed): This is stupid! He continued to look while muttering curses under his breath. At that point, he noticed a very familiar face poking out of a room not far away. Youko! Haan immediately charged off and stopped just before he was next to Youko. His third eye, which had been open ever since the incident with the ice cream man, closed. Haan then had a stupid look on his face. Youko had a look of confusion. Haan (happy): Youko! Youko! Youko (confused): Haan ...? What are you doing here!? Haan (confused): I don't know? Uh ... where am I, anyway? The last thing I remember was talking to some ice cream guy ... Youko (scratches head): You're in Satan Mansion, Haan. I was expecting to see Benares-sama because I felt his ki, but then you showed up. Hmmm ... Haan (remembers): Oh, yeah! Now I remember! Kaiyanwang and I came to Satan City to look for you and Benares this morning because you guys didn't come back last night! Upon hearing that, Youko had a ^_^;; on her face. Youko (^_^;;): Oh. Well, Benares left by himself yesterday evening. I don't know where he went. Latori, the wife of the local hero in this city, made me stay here for the night because I got rid of a local gang. Suddenly, upon hearing the name "Latori", Haan's eyes widen and his third eye reopened. A grin smirked on his face. Haan then glared at Youko and folded his arms. Sanjihaan (glaring): Tell me where Latori and Ushasu are, snake woman! Youko (surprised): Haan ...? Sanjihaan's grin grew even wider. He suddenly began to shout. Sanjihaan (shouting): Hmph! That weakling Haan no longer occuplies this body! I am Sanjihaan, the greatest Sanjiyan Unkara to ever live!! Youko covered her ears. That shout caused everyone in the dining room to walk into the hall. They wanted to see just who the hell was shouting. Sanjihaan looked at the new people and recognized Latori and Ushasu immediately. Sanjihaan (points): You two! I've found you! Ushasu and Latori looked at Haan, then at themselves, then back at Haan again. Their faces were looks of confusion. They spoke at the same time. Latori/Ushasu (confused): Who may you be?/Who the hell are you? Sanjihaan walked towards the two Sanjiyan slowly. His face was full of pride and ego. At that point, Neko-chan stepped in front of Latori and glared at Sanjihaan. Sanjihaan noticed her and his grin grew even wider. Neko-chan (glares): You stay away! Sanjihaan then suddenly pointed at Latori and Ushasu. Sanjihaan (points): I'm here to challenge the two of you! At that point, Shiva walked in front of Sanjihaan. He looked down at him, and Sanjihaan looked up. Shiva (annoyed): You're not touching my mother. Sanjihaan (confused): Huh? What mother? Shiva (nods): You're not touching her. I won't allow it. Sanjihaan (even more confused): Well, uhm ... I think you can relax, Kaiyanwang. Even though your mother may be a Sanjiyan Unkara, I have no interest in fighting a little old lady. That remark caused Ushasu's face to turn bright red. She growled. And then her third eye opened. Suddenly, she shoved Shiva away and prounced on Sanjihaan in anger. The nails on her hands extended 10x their size, and she scratched the bloody hell out of Sanjihaan ... literally. Ushasu (screaming): LITTLE OLD LADY!? I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT A LITTLE OLD LADY CAN DO!!! Ushasu looked like one scary demon ... all three of her eyes were red; her skin was pale white; and her nails were loooooong. It took the combined strength of Shiva, Neko-chan, and Mr. Satan to pull her off. Oh, man ... Oo;;; After that attack, Sanjihaan was beaten beyond recognition. He had swirls in his eyes. His face had red scratch marks on it. His clothes were scratched and torned. While Shiva tried to calm his mother down, Latori instructed Youko to bring Sanjihaan to their house doctor downstairs. Youko dragged Sanjihaan down the stairs while Latori led the way to medical help. Neko-chan followed them. That left Mr. Satan, who remained in the hallway. He couldn't decide whether to follow his wife or his sister in-law. * * * Benares sat on the sofa. He was reading the day's papers and was particularly interested in his daily horoscopes. He sipped his coffee that the house's butler had served him. He then read his scopes. Benares (reading): ... Your goals may seem far away now, but they are really much closer than you think. ... Your scheme of things may have been bad at first, but they are slowly coming along. ... Be aware of things around you. ... A lot of things are happening under your nose ... For an extended horoscope, please call Mr. Sakuranbou Cherry at 1-800-000-0000 ... $15 per call ... As Benares chuckled at the horoscopes and decided that he had read enough for the day. He also remember the reason why he was in this mansion -- to capture Ushasu and Latori for the Humanity Ritual II! Tossing the newspapers aside, Benares got up from his seat ...... ... And noticed Youko, Latori, Sanjihaan, and Neko-chan from across the lobby. They were walking down the staircase. Benares recognized Houasyou and the Merchant, but he had to look twice to realize that the woman with them was the Goddess Latori. As for Neko-chan ... Benares had no idea who the hell that was. He could careless. As Youko descended the stairs with Haan on her shoulder, she also noticed that a familiar big dude was staring at her from across the lobby. She shrugged, until she realized who it was ...! Youko (muttering under breath): Benares-sama! He's here ...! Youko wondered what Benares was doing in Satan Mansion ..? She couldn't figure out why would he was in here when a day ago he seemed to care little for the city ...? Was there something of value to the Dragon Wu?? Hmmm ... Youko (still muttering): I wonder ... At that point, Latori had heard Youko's muttering. Mrs. Satan looked at her. Latori (?): What's wrong? Youko was caught in surprise. She saw Latori and quickly shook her head fanatically. Youko (shaking head): Huh?? Wha!? No!! Nothing!! Don't mind me!! Latori shrugged and continued her way. However, Neko-chan was suspicious and seems to have read Youko's thoughts. Neko-chan (points at Youko): You're worried about that big guy over there, aren't you? At that point, Benares began to walk over to them. Youko saw him and began to sweat nervously. Youko (^_^;;;;;): C-can we just keep going ...? Neko-chan smirked, then turned around to look at Benares. She withdrew her sword from its hilt and pointed it at Benares. Youko (surprised): What are you doing ...!? Neko-chan (smirks): I can sense evil from that guy ... I'll take care of him. You go on with Latori-sama to the doctor. With that, Neko-chan dashed off from the staircase and zoomed towards Benares. She was agile and fast as a ... cat. Benares looked at the coming intruder and grinned. He stopped walking and folded his arms. Neko-chan continued charging. When she was finally a foot away from Benares, she ...... paused. She braked with her feet and halted just before she was close enough. Smoke emitted from the action. Benares looked at her with surprise and confusion. Neko-chan returned with a look of her own. Benares (confused): Uhhh ...? Neko-chan (scratches head): Hey ... don't I know you from somewhere? Benares (shrugs): I dunno? Narrator (voice suddenly appears from nowhere): What the ...!? Does Neko-chan know Benares from her past?? What's going on?? Will Youko and Latori get Ha -- I mean, Sanjiihaan, to the safety of the house doctor?? And what about Mr. Satan?? Will he stop standing in the hallway and choose where he would go??
