Holy Land" Episode One - 7/26/00 Some lady: This is a true story ... about seven strangers ... picked to live in a house. Find out what happens ... when people stop being polite ... and start getting real. The Real World ... Holy Land. Standing somewhere in the Holy Land were 2 cameramen. Of course, they are waiting for the cast of this season's "The Real World". But how the cameramen got here was another question ... Cameraman 1 (whispers): How did we get here? Cameraman 2 (whispers): I dunno? Just then, the surrounding became cloudy and two more figures can be seen, seemingly appeared from out of nowhere. As the dust settled, we can see that the two figures really are ... Haan (unimpressed): Uh, is this it? Youko (shrugs): I guess so? Haan is wearing an oridinary nike short and shorts while Youko is wearing her Japanese High School girl uniform as seen throughout volume 12. Both $12.95! Haan looks around and notices the cameraman. They run off, afraid of the man with the unusual hair style as well as dropping their cameras. Haan, shrugging, takes their cameras and looks around. The viewer (that's you) is treated to a couple of scenes similar to "The Blair Witch Project" due to Haan's idiotic camera handling abilities. Haan (amazed): So THIS is a camera! Wow! Youko sighs and takes a seat on a nearby piece of rock. At that time, another of the cast suddenly appears. Who is it, you ask? Madurai (cheery voice): Hey, hey! Madurai is wearing her trademark clothing that we first see her wear in manga volume 9 ($9.95!). At first, we don't actually see that it's Madurai until Youko takes the camera away from the Merchant and actually shows that she's better at handling camera recordings than Haan. Madurai notices that only Haan and Youko are present, and they don't impress her at all. With her mood changing faster than you can say "Wu", Madurai quickly becomes as bored as hell. Madurai (bored voice): Now why was I resurrected from death to join this? As if answering her question, a shadow suddenly appears from nowhere! And this new character is ... Ganesa (strange, high pitched voice): Ho, ho! Lookie mee! I am here! Ganesa is wearing a pair of sweatshirt and sweatpants ($12.95!), and he looks quite ridiculous in it. The towel that hid his face is also gone, so his ugly elephant features can clearly be seen! Madurai (surprised and annoyed): YOU!! What are YOU doing here!? Ganesa (voice still high pitched): Ehhh? My dearest Madurai!! Hello, my favorite rival!! Ganesa bounces around stupidly as he goes off to hug Madurai. Madurai, in an instant, whips out her blade at the Elephant dude and a sadistic smile forms on her face. Madurai (snickers): Heh heh, remember, fool! You're not a Wu anymore! That means you can DIE! Ganesa (face swells up): But, but!! I just wanted hug you, my dearest rival! Come on, for old times sake! I haven't seen you in 300 years, my dearest Madurai! Madurai's face twisted to show that she is extremely annoyed. Her hand is seem glutching tightly to her sword. Madurai (annoyed): IF you say the word "dearest" ONE MORE TIME, I swear ... Ganesa (innocent look): But dearest Madurai ... Madurai screams in frustration and jumps at Ganesa with her huge blade. Just seconds before her blade made contact, however, a figure appears that stops her dead at her track!! Benares (raises eyebrow): Uhh ... Benares, of course, appeared out of nowhere just like everyone else. He is wearing his usual expensive leather jacket, black tanktops and blue jeans. Holding in his hands is the cola can that Shiva is imprisoned in. As she saw Benares, Madurai's eyes tears up and her face turns to one of joyous. She jumped at Benares in an attempt to hug him. Benares, however, caught her with one hand and placed her down. Benares (shakes head): Hey! See no touch! Madurai (tears flowing): But, but! Madurai attaches herself to the left leg of Benares. Even though Benares is quite big, he can't pull her away. So it seems that he'll have to spent the rest of the season with Madurai ... Haan (suddenly speaks from being silent all this time!): Hey! There's only 5 of us here! Shouldn't there be 2 more casts? Ganesa (grins): Why would you want to see other people when you can see me?? Haan (disturbed): ........ Just then, Youko notices a rather large mansion near them. Wait a second, a mansion in the Holy Land!? What's going on!? And the house seems to be rather new and in great condition, too!? Youko (points at house): Hey! I see a sign that reads "Real World House"! Maybe it's for us to stay in! Haan (nods): Let's go check it out, Youko! And as everyone goes off to the Real World mansion, this episode comes to an end ... END OF EPISODE 1
