My life belongs not to me, I surrender it to You, my God.
For You understand me more than I could ever in thousands of lifetimes.
You are mindful of this weak, pathetic dust that You call Your child.
You know the pores of my skin and the dwellings of my mind.
What more logical explanation must I need but to surrender my life
to You.
In every essence, You shine in glory, splendor and majesty.
I succumb to know the grace that You have shown me on that crimson
cross.
The love You show I could never calculate nor will I even try.
Just sitting before You brings much peace and tranquil surroundings.
This world matters not compared to the everlasting kingdom of God.
Teach me to never compromise You and to never forget Your blessings.
For this, I surrender my life to You in faith that You can change this
sinner.
