Your Power alone,
Your Amazing Grace and Love.
Could those of Yours have been the key,
That would unlock the bolts and chains holding me.

Breaking from that of which I only knew,
All this time withheld from the truth that exists in You.
Exposed to Your Greatness, I’m brought to shame,
Knowing of Your Holiness, I’m brought to sheer humility.

My eyes opened to a man named Jesus,
Who was slain for sinners like you and I.
That Love that could save me and free me into knowing Him,
To be seen in His Glory and an heir of undeserved inheritance.

Praise God!  I am no longer bound to sin,
But given the freedom to understand in obedience to the Word.
Freed from what I truly deserve in torment and pain,
And brought into a hope that I may forever praise Him!
