Lima, Peru
Lima City
This is the central plaza in Lima. As you can see, it is littered with colonial architecture. In the background, you can see where the Christ statue oversees the city.
Dennis stands infront of a big statue celebrating Fransisco Pisarro.
Riots
On our way to the Museum of the Inquisition, we encountered a mild riot. It was crazy, police everywhere shooting off tear gas, they had ramming tanks, the whole 9. We did not seem to pose much threat to the military and were allowed to walk through the baracade.
Cells
These are actual cells that the Spanish used to keep prisoners who refused to convert. There ain't much room between the bars and the rock.
