La Paz Parliament
Pictured is the parliament building in La Paz. There is something about this city that I just love.....
Coca Museum
...maybe it is because they have a museum dedicated to the coca leaf (can you believe that?)....
Nacho
...or maybe it's because they have guys like nacho that sing kareoke at the 24-hour chinese food places...
Smokin Haricut
...maybe it is because you can smoke whilst getting your hair trimmed...
Weathering
...could it be the interesting way the surrounding mountains are weathering away...
Habana Club
...naw, it's gotta be the V.I.P treatment that we get at the exclusive Habana Club, strictly for the country's most influential.
From left to right: Leisa, Matt, Dennis, Joris, and Sessil.
Back to South America
sleepyman
Check out how this dude is sleeping...looks comfortable.
Tiwanachu
The Tiwanachu Ruins are about one hour outside of La Paz. They date back to pre-Incan times and were a nice little surprise.
Calander
Another one of my favourite pictures. These were used by the people as a calander. They don't make 'em like they used to.
Faces
Here I am checking out one of the faces that was carved into the wall.
Statues
These statues are the ruins' claim to fame. Each statue is carved holding belongings...this guy has a bottle of booze and a fork.
Get Candy
Sitting in front of the San Fransisco Cathedral in Central La Paz, our theory was confirmed: Kids all over the world have one thing on thier minds....GET CANDY, GET CANDY, GET CANDY!
Juice
Before heading down the Most Dangerous Road in the World to Coroico, Leisa, Joris, and I drink some Hugo Mixta (fresh blended fruit juice) out of T & A glasses.
