Bomberman Generation
Bomberman games have always been a "blast" to play (haha). Now back with a new cel-shaded look, he's having more fun than ever.
First, lets start with the single player portion of the game. While it is fun, it can get a bit boring at times. At some points you may be stuck, but if you think about the situation you can almost always find a way to get out of it. This makes for a very good level of difficulty, not to
easy, not to hard. You also get special bombs that are called charabombs. These bombs have personality and special abilities. One makes your bombs throw height greater, and another has a bigger blast range. These are just a few examples. Also these bombs can battle other bombs. If you win, you get the bomb you are battling. It's a very cool idea that is executed well.
Now for the heart and soul of the game, the multiplayer. It is still great fun to battle agaisnt your friends in a variety of modes.First there is good ol' Standard Battle in many fun maps. Next is Dodge Battle.Bombs drop from the sky and you must dodge them. Also there is Reversi Battle, and a few other modes. It's definatly a party game.
Overall it's a good time thats probably not for everybody, but if you have always enjoyed the Bomberman Games you will definatly want this one. Even if you are new to the Bomberman world, you shound rent it and see if it's right for you.
