RE:    CANINE CANCER PATIENT, NOW HEALTHY DOG

If your house is like our houses here, you also have a dog or two and
even a bird or cat.  We are sending our rabbit readers this email because
we thought you might like to read this and possibly share this story with
a loved one who is also an avid dog lover.

As all of you know, we do not, cannot, and will not claim that our products
from Mother Nature's pantry will cure any canine health condition no matter
what that health condition is.  All of you know this because the FDA
requires this, plus it makes good sense.  How can we make any claims if we actually
do not administer the remedies to customers pets ourselves.  How can we really
know what one does to and for their pet in their home?  We know what works
for our own pets because we use these products for our own beloved pets too.

We invite our customers to share their personal experiences with our
products and their pets which we make available as testimonials.  One such
interesting story about a dog with cancer is on our front page.  This dog has
completely recovered.

Because cancer is becoming so prevalent in the pet population today, our
customer (who is a doctor by the way) took her precious time to share with
us and our readers her dog's wonderful recovery.  She even supplied
pictures so you can see for yourselves what transpired.  Go to this link, then share
this with another dog lover friend if you wish:

>MORE>>> to read the entire story and see more pictures.

We thought you might like to know about this.  We will be doing more of
these as customers send us their stories.  If you want to read what other stories
we have received over the past couple of years, click onto this link:

All of these are unsolicited letters and emails from our customers.  More
will be added to our site next week by our web people.

RE:    ORGANIC HERBS ONLY

As you are well aware, the Rabbit Medicine Chest recommends purifying
the blood of your pets at least for a two week period every four to six months.

Optimum health and vitality and longevity depend on excellent wholesome
nutrition to be provided to your rabbit's body cells every single day.
Each cell in the body needs to be nourished daily in order to restore
that cell to its genetic capability.  In order to accomplish this, the
blood needs to be clean and free of any contaminants.  For a detailed
discussion about this, please go to this link on our site:

http://www.petmedicinechest.com/rabbit/discussions/toxinstext.asp

With this philosophy in mind, we want you to know for certain that our
remedies are not only natural, but they are also made from certified
organic herbs.  It would not be prudent to advise our customers to try
to provide clean pure food and water for their bunns and then we provide
vitamins, minerals and remedies that are not clean and pure of chemicals
and pesticides and GMO's.

RE:       ABCESSES

Several people have asked about this common problem--abscesses--in rabbits
and what can be done about them.

First an abscess is normally caused by a little scratch or irritation
somehow which then begins to grow into a full-blown infection.  Rabbits seem to get a lot under their chins probably because they will frequently scratch under their chin.  A sharp nail can begin the problem, then when they eat and drink the residue of the food and water can get into the irritated area.

Next comes a slight bacterial infection that if left unchecked can and will
grow into an abscess the size of a tennis ball or even a grapefruit.

What would we do?  If this is happening to your rabbit too frequently, we
would make sure his chin area is misted with Oxyjuv and water daily.  Oxyjuv brings oxygen to the area and helps to heal any little scratches and irritations plus it cleans the
chin at the same time.  Cleanliness is critical in preventing abscesses.

If the abscess is actually there and getting bigger every day, we would
gently lance the infection to begin the draining process then clean the wound several times a day with Oxyjuv and water.  In addition, we would highly recommend that the rabbit be given probiotics and herbs that have been shown to help combat this bacterial infection and help to purify and clean the blood all at the same time.  We would use ProBac Adult or ProBac Bunny (depending upon how bad it is) and the herbal remedy called Systemajuv.   Go to this link for a more detailed discussion:

Sometimes the abscess is so large it is the size of a tumor and closely
resembles a tumor. In this case we would recommend tumor remedies as well.  Go here for details:

RE:  BLADDER/KIDNEY STONES

It seems that we have recently had many calls about rabbits
with kidney and/or bladder stones and is there anything we can
do to help?

The answer is yes, there are natural remedies to dissolve
these stones and pass them out of the body.  The process can take
from two to ten days, and apparently is NOT painful to the rabbit.

http://www.petmedicinechest.com/rabbit/liverkidney.asp

What causes kidney/bladder stones?  Contrary to popular
thinking, the root cause is LACK OF CALCIUM, not too much calcium.
When an animal has too little calcium in its diet, the body will
begin to draw calcium out of its bones.  This causes further
complications by residue being deposited in the kidneys and bladder.

Obviously to prevent this from happening, the body has to
have the right amount and balance of calcium and other macro and
trace minerals.  Basically you might just say kidney/bladder stones
are a nutritional deficiency which can be easily corrected with
supplementation.  Remember, calcium is the catalyst mineral which
facilitates all the other minerals to get busy and help the body.

WATERY EYES

This time of the year, many rabbits seem to have watery eye problems.
This is probably due to the pollen and other spring time conditions.
If this is happening to your rabbit, you might consider misting your
rabbit's eyes with Oxyjuv and water several times a day.  This brings
oxygen to the eyes and has been shown to help with whatever may be the
culprit causing your rabbit its misery.

RE:     SPRING FLOWERS-DANDELION & MILK THISTLE BLESSINGS

It is spring time again and one of Mother Nature's first
flowers to show up after a long winter is the wonderful
dandelion.  Yes, I said wonderful.

The dandelion has been shown to have wonderful cleansing
properties for the bloodstream and the liver and helps
with pancreas functions.  Adding the dandelion flower, leaves
and root to your rabbit's diet can help with gout, heartburn,
rheumatism and skin disorders.

Dandelions have a diuretic, tonic and laxative affect if the
body requires it.  This "weed" is contains an abundance of
minerals including potassium and sodium in a balanced profile.
Thus the dandelion will replenish an animal's potassium and
sodium needs as it is providing diuretic activities.

The diuretic, tonic and laxative affects have been shown to
help in over-all cleansing of the body after a long winter.
Be sure to add this wonderful herb to your rabbit's food bowl.
Make sure no chemicals have been sprayed on them first.

A hint--if you notice a lot of dandelions on your yard, this
indicates that your soil is quite toxic and the dandelions
are there naturally in an attempt to cleanse the soil and
bring minerals from deep within the earth to your grass. You
may want to visit this discussion page as to what you can
do: http://www.petmedicinechest.com/Lawns/lawnsnaturallytext.asp

What about Milk Thistle?  Does this herb clean the liver?
Milk thistle helps the liver of course, but this herb's primary
function is to protect the liver and help regenerate liver
cells.  It is always best to clean the liver before you
begin to protect it.

It doesn't make much common sense in protecting a dirty
congested liver.  Our recommendation would be to clean
the liver first with dandelions or Hemotox and Metaltox,
then add Milk Thistle to help with new cell growth and to
prevent future liver damage.

A person can add milk thistle leaves to your pet's daily
diet.  You will be adding a lot of balanced minerals
at the same time.  Don't forget, without minerals the body
does not absorb vitamins.

We thought you might like to think about this for the health
benefit of your best little friend(s) this time of the year.
