(Sonu's reply to Sheldon's message number 2)
Dear Sheldon,
Since I hadn't received any reply from your side for quite some time, I was actually planning to send you my previous reply via snail-mail!
By the way, I do not consider you to be a terrorist because I don't think you've terrorized anyone's life as yet! Neither do I consider you as anti-social because I am not aware of any such behavior on your part. But, as per the information I've about you, I would be tempted to consider you a fanatic. Although, based on your replies you do not give that impression. That's the reason I requested you to shed some light on this matter and in the process I just assumed that you knew very little about other religions. And I still hold on to this view.
A debate is a type of discussion in which arguments raised by one group are criticized by another and vice versa, in order to reach a consensus on the issue being discussed. I've always been in favor of healthy debates that don't transform into firefights. During a fight one does not judge one's own actions and is only judgmental about others. But in the case of a healthy debate, one judges oneself as much as one judges one's opponent. Very often such debates lead to a passive normalization of extremist views held by both parties. Due to this very basic fact about healthy debates, they are generally quite productive.
Indeed, if we were judgmental only of each other's views and could manage to ruin them then we would be giving in to self-pride. Has this happened between us as yet? I don't think so. And, if we carry on in a tolerant way, I don't see any reason for self-pride to pop up its ugly face.
My friend, you are open to justify anything you want. No hassles there.
That's all for now. More later.
Thanks for your time. Good day.
