Went to school: Caribou High School, UMF Duration of schooling: k-12, 4-year college
Types of Education training: School, job at computer center really has taught me alot, travelling has also allowed me to learn and see some really cool stuff.
How teacher taught: Mostly lecture, except Ms. Levesque (11th grade) she has a hand-on approach
Learning Experinecs: All types and mostly good
Best educational experiences: Mrs. White kicking my ass to do well and because of it, I won. That trip to Washington D.C. also, working hard for scholarships and getting them... it is nice to know that hard work pays off.
Worst educational experiences: 4th grade with Mrs. Wyman because she wrongfully told students things that were not true (like that humans were not animals... what the hell are we then?) and also fifth grade when I got caught forging my mothers signature.
Jobs held: Daycare, babysitting, computer center, chambermaid, miniature golf "associate", waitress, various other computer work... 7 give or take.
Adequate education: Yes, definitely college more so than high school, though.
Who are schools for? Everyone!!!!
What should kids learn? Everything their minds can soak up - especially that the differences are what make everyone so special
How should they learn it? Any way that they can, whatever their learnign style and however they learn best.
