Labor Contraction Timer

Keeps track of contractions intervals before delivery. It can also be used to time any other activity occurring frequently.

Features:

· Single button to start and stop registering a contraction. This minimizes risk of confusion when using the program at night.

· Button is ergonomically located for easy selection with thumb when only one hand is available to hold and manage the pocket pc.

· Button color indicates if program is currently registering a contraction.

· Large start and stop button is always visible in the program.

· Frequency, duration and notes for each contraction can be edited.

· Line graph of any variable vs. any variable can be performed. Variables include: Frequency, duration, time since first contraction, number of contractions.

· Contractions summary with overall average for frequency, duration and count as well as last hour results.

· Automatically saves contractions log to any user defined file (*.csv) so you won’t loose entries if battery dies.

· Files saved in previous sessions can be loaded any time in the future to continue registering contractions.

· Frequency and duration of any single entry can last from one second to years in case you want to track repetitive events different from labor contractions.

History:

My wife and I were expecting our first baby Isabella. I browsed the web for a utility to keep track of contractions using a handheld device like a Pocket PC. I found several programs but none of them had all the things I wanted or they were not free. I decided to write my own and here it is!

First release: June 5, 2005
