| Alfie arrived in Walford on 21st November 2002 after he was thrown off the tube at Walford East station for fare dodging. As he had no money he had to talk the talk to get what he wanted..... |

| The first person to fall for his tricks was Winston. Alfie stole a CD from his stall and pretened he had bought it a week ago. He then said it was faulty and asked for his money back! He got it as well! |

| Next up was mechanic Ricky Butcher. Alfie met him in the Cafe and told him that he had a car that could do with a service. After a quick chat Alfie promised to bring his car along, and left, telling Mo that Ricky would pay for his breakfast, and promising Ricky that he'd bring the car along later and give him the money then. He doesn't even own a car! |

| Alfie then met Martin Fowler on his fruit and veg stall, and claimed he had a pesticide allergy so he would have to try the fruit before he bought them. Alfie took various samples of fruit and then ordered a crate of apples before sauntering off! |

| As Alfie helped himself to a drink in the epmty Vic, he met Landlady Peggy Mitchell, who wrongly mistook him to be the new manager Chris Wright. When Alfie didn't correct her, he ended up with a home and job! |

| Not content with all he had got, Alfie then proceeded to work his charm on the ladies, persuading Kat Slater to join him behind the bar. |
