This is the attachment point from the roll bar to the upper CA mount. I cut the floor out around the mount and welded in a 6x8 plate. I was plug welded to the CA mount itslef. If that thing moves at ALL I will sell my car and take up knitting! |

These pics show how we dropped the cage down through the floor to make it alittle easier to weld everything up. It would be nearly impossible to get a good weld on everything leaving it up in the car. Once I was done welding we simply jacked up the cage and put it right back where it was, as shown in the pics below. You can also see how the bar goes through the old speaker hole in the dash. Looks TITTIES!! :) |
