Linda’s Beer Batter Halibut

 

1 - 2 pounds halibut, cut into 1-inch thick chunks
1 cup Bisquick Mix
1 12-oz. bottle (or can) of beer

 

 Heat cooking oil in a deep-fat fryer to approximately 375° F.   Combine Bisquick Mix and beer, stir until mixed well. 

Dip the fish into the beer batter, drop into hot oil, cook until the batter is golden brown. 

Remove from the hot oil and drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.  Serve and eat immediately.
