My First Mustang, the 1987 Mustang GT
Above is My first Mustang, the Poster Car For the 1987 Mustang GT. I purchased this car my Junior year in High school and had it until My Sophmore year in College. I rebuilt the engine in my high school shop class, some of the engine mods included .030 over forged pistons, ported heads, headers, cam, and intake. Other car mods included, 3.55 gears, cross drilled rotors, stainless steel brake lines, urethane suspension, subframe connectors, Koni shocks, motorsport springs, and many others. (Below My GT and Buddy Todd's 2001 Bullitt) I road raced this car at the Heartland Park Topeka, with the Kansas City BMW club. Summer of 2001
Unfortunately I was driving west on I-70 Febuary 9, 2002 and hit a patch of black ice, the car came around on me and I spun 3 times until my left rear quater panel hit the guard rail and bounced me back onto the highway where I was immediatley hit by a 99' Volvo 18 wheeler, that's where the front end damage occured luckly she only skimmed me and I had my seat belt on, but the car was totaled anyway The other picture is what was left of the car after I stripped it down for all the parts to build my 88 Bullitt.
