THE REAL SIXTY FOUR MAGIC
Here is a look at why I'm mr64magic. I found my 1964 chevrolet from an ad in the paper from a girl who didn't want to drive the big old car to high school anymore. I called on it and asked her to describe it for me. She told me it had 80,000 miles on it and it had a few bumps but run really good. I asked about the interior and she replyed that it still had the original plastic on the seats. She told me the car was left to them from a relative who had passed away. I had heard enough and I was on my way to see it for my self.  I drove it around the block and handed her $2,300 and drove it on home. The car was in super condition overall, it had been hit in the rear end and a bump in the front. It even had all four original hubcaps and wheels, and yes it really did have all the plastic. I have had the car now for four years. In the time I have had it I have had it repainted the original fawn gold and all the body work done. It still has the original radio but I hand built a oak console for the kenwood cd player. It is running 2 four inch mids, 3 sony explode 6x9 speakers in the rear deck and a big bass box with three MTX 10" subs pounding in the trunk. All powered by the Phoenix Gold amp. I have also added the good year white wall tires and the Luxor spoke wire wheels. With the help of E-bay I was able to find replacement chrome and from a friend's parts car. 64 magic also runs with a sweet set up from BP customs in Caldwell. It has a full air ride suspension. That      includes two Viair compressors, two tanks, 8 450 psi Xtreme valves, and bags from slam specialties. But the best part to me is the ten switches like all true lowriders.  I removed all the sun faded original plastic to reveal a near mint condition interior. The motor was given a run through and a new carb. 64magic comes from the custom licence plates and a special car club plaque from ballerzworld cc in Denton Texas. The chrome plaque was manufactured and designed by lazerwerks. I hope you enjoy the pictures, and to me there is nothing like roll'in in a 64.
Here is a look at my 64 four door sedan from the passenger side on my front lawn right before it headed to the July 4th car show. These are the magic plates, custom and personalized just for me. In this picture you can also see the cat eye headlight covers I added.
Here is just another look from the front. It was wrecked in the drivers front side and I was able to get it pulled out and the replacement chrome came from e-bay. This is a look at the drivers side. It was also wrecked in the rear quarter panel and near the trunk lid, after spending an entire week end on it we were able to pull the rear back out. One of my favorite things about this particular car Is the wrap around rear glass and the curved windshields.
At some of the car shows I've been able to be a part of I believe I have had some of the most original interior around. I love the cream colors and the golden brown fabrics. It makes the old look new.
Here is a look into a few from my Imp Yard collection.
