MR64MAGIC DIECAST COLLECTION
Not all of my models are plastic. Some of my favorites have been Diecast metal bodies. I love these cars. They have the real feel of metal and are tough if you have kids who want to play with them. My favorites are the big 1/16th scale cars and the 1/18th scale. But the biggest draw back of working with diecast is they are so difficult to work with. The cars that have won me the most awards at model and hobby shows are the big 1/18th scale diecast models. I don't make very many of these because the selection of diecsat cars are limited. But the ones that are available are worth it.
This diecast Impala is one of my favorite cars I have built. It was purchased by a 65 impala collector who had a huge collection of 65 impalas. but he had never seen anything like this one. He said it is a huge conversation piece and unique to the rest of his collection. This is a 1/24th scale ford Diecast. Overall a pretty easy construction on this car. I chose triple 0 for this car cause it seems like someone every year here likes the triple 0 number.
I have this model in my personal collection. My brother and I built it together. It has also won prizes. It's a 70's caddy 1/18th scale. It is a tribute to the state derby champion. It's painted fairly simple with his number 42. I probably like the model better than the driver in real life.
This car was sold on e-bay and was one of my favorites it is also a hobby show winner. It is a 1/18th scale diecast late 60's buick. I liked the big size of this car and I was able to add the welder figure to the collection
This is also a 1/18th scale diecast car. It's a 70's ford. It was built by my brother and I and was sold on e-bay. The fade paint looked really good on this model. It was actually first painted purple but it wasn't as good looking as the faded colors. My favorite part of this car is I like the front ends, because they look so realistic to the actual ford demo cars.
