THE ART WORLD WITH IDDA AND DENT
As a member of the IDDA I have learned so much about the sport of Demolition Derby. The technical information that is provided is amazing. Not to mention all the friends and interesting people I have met since joining. DENT also has had an impact on my art work and model building. By studying their web sites, videos, and information I've been able to enhance my art skills, model skills, and real demo building skills. With the training from these and AISC art school I've been able increase my knowledge and skills and bring to the art community a very different side of art. To show my thanks to the IDDA and DENT I was the first to feature what I pictured their promo cars to look like or ones that I have or would want in my collection. I've also looked around for derby clip art and saw what the web had to offer and wanted to make it just a little bit better. By creating my own derby logos I feel like I've been able to create a logo that could really be represntative of a company or team. Here is a look at some art work and a few of the IDDA and DENT promo cars.
Here is a 79 caddy built into DENT promo car. Here is the 80's caprice that was also built into a DENT car. It also featured a garage for the car, with all handpainted DENT logo work.
This  IDDA plymouth fury featured IDDA logo work and mopar logos. It was built from tech tips featured in the CHRYSLER forum on building mopars for the derby.
Here is another look at the IDDA wagon. It featured IDDA sponsors and logos and had a 2003 IDDA event schedule of states featured in the 2003 IDDA events.
This is my logo that was hand drawn for my business cards, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pitcrew uniforms, and other items. It was taken from a photo and then simplified for easy application. I will be featuring a new logo for the 2004 season. If your looking for a team logo feel free to contact me and I can see what I can come up with for you.
This is a great looking 1976 caprice built as a IDDA promo car, this was actually a thanks to DEC for the great work they did on the headers for my real derby cars. The car featured the DEC logo on the trunk lid.
