Basically the preface is about telling the readers how you can learn how to use a computer. Also you don't have to know how a computer works to know how to use it. Not many people know how a car, telephone and television work but they still use them. The preface is also in a way trying to tell the readers the role computer is paying in our society right now.
Computer is a tool that can be used to obtain information faster. Not everyone learns to use a computer right away. The first time I used a computer I was excited because I learned how I could play games on my computer, listen to music, and get lyrics.
Computer, machine that performs tasks, such as calculations or electronic communication, under the control of a set of instructions called a program. Programs usually reside within the computer and are retrieved and processed by the computer�s electronics. The program results are stored or routed to output devices, such as video display monitors or printers. Computers perform a wide variety of activities reliably, accurately, and quickly. People who put there fear aside are people who like to get a rush. That rush is really adrenaline that the body produces when you are nervous and excited.
