Today we are going to compile the work we have done in the website.
-Last assignment was on page 695 in the second book. Type it as progressively.
-Progressively means to type each word seperately.
-An array is a contiguous and homogeneous memory location identified by a name.
-Part a is to type the assignment progressively.
-Part b is to change and modify it the way you like including extra tags, journals,
assignments, autobiography, resume, quiz,exams(midterms), extra features make it
unique.
To create a hyperlink you have to use
Try to memorize the ten commandments.
One hundred of useful commands are there.

(brake) or

(new paragraph) are a good commands.
Dr. Ebrahimi does not accept last minute things or work. He likes continuous work.
The learning from the book show it to Ebrahimi.
Let life be a test so that it is easy that way. This is why Ebrahimi gives us alternatives so
that the students do well.
Dr. Ebrahimi has winter courses.
People buy web domain or sites.
Someone in China bought www.oldwestbury.com
Get a domain name and from the same thing you got your domain name get a host.

-Assignment read the second book.If you know the book get a salary of $80,000 for a year salary.
-I can't make you grow. An array of flower array of thought, array of memory.Array means variety of the flowers because they are next to each other or there is a bunch of them. Array is when you have a lot of memories under one name. Please read every introduction to every chapter. Design for visual Communications.

What is the command or word that language used for input? What is the command or word that a programming language tells to display? 5 points each

Journal compiled by Chameita Bamberry for 11/08/05

Jasper was advised to grade assignments.

Grades are then modified by Prof.

Prof. is lenient with what students do, unless they do unrelated things such as chatting.

We want to Run C++ Program Today..
-We need to look at Book one page 459
- So far we have seen program buit haven't seen it in action.
Microsoft Visual Studio NET
-Programming has two major phases.
1) Design/Editing/Writing phase
2) To execute active phase (translate to machine languages)

In Spaniish "Que Tu Quieres"
In Persian "Chi Mi Khai"
1) Natural language (source language) was translated to native
language (Target Language).
2) Source Language has to be converted to Target Language(machine language) Spanish to Persian
-translator does two things.
-First step: the translator checks

1) Review last class problem we could not run or execute the program frustration everything was right program not result => security over protection A program called Hello.cpp stands for C++ Hello. exe Hello.java Virus cpp -> Virus.exe

Today's Journal compiled by Katrina T. Simmons

Assistant Debbie Dawson
Journal November 17, 2005
First review of last class:
Menu
1. Review last class problem- We could not run the program
* Frustrations- everything was right, programming was correct not results-> security overprotection.
Original program that you write was Hello.cpp, Hello.exe,
Hello.java- means the language was java
The program is overprotected because people will try and put viruses in the computer
virus.cpp
virus.exe- the computer is trying to protect it from exe viruses
There are different algorithms that you should try to solve your problems, we will go back in try a different approach

*Mark arrived at 1:21*
If your selling a book and your just sitting there then they will say that its not a good business, there's always something to do
Movement creates activities- therefore it would look like you have something to do.

*************************************************************
We will run the program and Carmen will tell us what to do
Most universities use Linux: Linux is free and open source (you can see the program, add to it and subtract from it)- its written in c++
Microsoft has the security but it has a lot of holes already.
Cost of computer errors are a lot of money
*************************************************************
Is the year 20 is a leap year
400 is a leap year
1600 is a leap year
not every four hundred years are a leap year
Why is 20 a leap year and 1900 is not?
The algorithm is the book.
What does IDE stand for?
IDE- Interactive Department Environment
What is the problem with the IDE of Microsoft?
**************************************************************
This is the program that we compiled today
#include
using namespace std;
main()
{
char name[15];
char answer;
while(1){
cout<<"HELLO WHAT IS YOUR NAME ";
cin>>name;
cout<<"I AM HAPPY TO MEET YOU "< cout<<" Would you like to have lunch with me ";
cin>> answer;
if(answer=='Y')cout<<"I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU ACCEPT MY INVITATION ";
else cout<<" WE WILL TRY TO MEET ANOTHER TIME"< cout<<" NEXT PERSON PLEASE";
}
return 0;
}
Dr. Ebrahimi did not use any intelligent things he just uses his memory, like when people remember their favorite basketball player and their favorite singers and rappers.
He's stopping here- some people he will let go other people he will have a conference with the other people because he is scared of their grade.

We will have a few DEMOS today on our webpages

- Hassan will demo too.
- We will type the program on page 696.
-Bring your volume two for next class. (WILL BE ASSIGNMENT ON SEARCH PROGRAM) WE CAN DO IT AHEAD OF TIME ON NOTEPAD IF WE WANT TO, FRONTPAGE OR oN gEOCITIAS (yAHOO FILE). Save it as search.htm
-it translates from English to Spanish. Italian, French, Chinese and does other things.

- this is our assingment on java script.
-Professor Ebrahimi wants to help us today.
- Chapter 5 was about Array(Variety- a series of memory next to each other)
-In class we have array of computers, students , nationalities, and races.
-"Loop is friend of array"- We go through loops to make an array.
-Make sure that when we are absent we should get our points back by participatiing next class.
-If you want to b negative than function you say that you can't function under these conditions. To be a good student your functions is to do good in class and participate.
-When we have array we have homogeneous and contiguous things or memories.
-Homogenous and contiguous are that we are next to each other.
- Self function-to day
-Plan,prepare and go over the material, time everything in order to study for the Final.
-In computer when there is a big problem to solve, it is divided into smaller functions into smaller functions to solve it little by little, ("Divide and Conquer Policy")
-An example would be to make a Payroll Program. We input the hours, compute the gross pay. Compute the taxes and compute the net pay.
1) We input the hours
2) Compute the gross pay
3) Compute taxes
4) Compute net pay

we can do things without Function
