1. Approval of  March minutes with one comment: future fundraising letters sent home to be approved by whole MPTG

2. Principal's Report

• Arts for Life Day a great success
• May 29 Field Day
• June 19 last day of school
• class placements for next year beginning

3. Playground

• Wet weather has pushed the spring schedule back
• Quotes in to move fill from Clarke's to Melville
• Fibar to be purchased at discount
• Storage box for playground to be picked up   

4. Treasurer Report

• April report reviewed

5. Upcoming Events

• Humanitees and Tupperware fundraiser started
• Ice Cream social Friday May 9
• Staff Appreciation Luncheon May 7

6. Grant requests

• Overview of request this year
• Kindergarten request: $200 to purchase replacement items for homework bags

• Farewell party for 4th grade: after discussion changed to finance a pizza lunch and subsidy for yearbook

• Approval of previous request for leveled readers for gr. 1 & 2: $1200
• Emily C. to pursue Raytheon grant for science funding: science readers and teacher training
