- Treasurer's report
- Work continues on the report format to make it easier to understand the budget status
- Jay Mellilo reviewed the monthly budget report, MPTG is in good shape
- Officer nominations
- Nominating committee formed (P. Perras. T. Carnevale) to recruit candidates for offices next year
- current officers will describe their job and time commitment at next meeting
- Family Potluck Dinner
- Friday, March 9 6 p.m.
- Lisa Lefleur will coordinate
- This event conflicts with a PMS event, suggestion made to evaluate dates for next year to avoid as many conflicts as possible
- School Store
- Mrs. Andrews and Mrs. Blakely are ready to open the school store at lunchtime, waiting for the merchandise from school spirit supplies
- Minutes approved
- Pennies for Playground
- Lisa authorized to spend $100 for collection containers
- School goal is $1800, looking for someone to make a graphic for vestibule to track progress
- Playground
- National Guard slated for April
- Meeting with landscape architect March 1 to assess current status and plot future work
- New equipment to be delivered March 5, 2001
- Asphalt will hopefully be in before summer
- Planning a March workday for cleanup and April/May days for assembly of equipment, Boy Scouts to help
- Arts in Education
- April 25 – Picasso People –9 & 10 a.m. (conflicts with Gr. 4 testing)

- March 23 – suggestions are Lady & Tramp II and Emperor's New Groove
- Thermometer
- The school nurse had proposed having MPTG purchase a thermometer. Research puts the cost around $300.
- Motion: If no source for a donation of a thermometer or the money to purchase one is found in one week, MPTG will purchase the thermometer through Newport hospital.
