Just to share some of a great nine day safari through three national parks and a wildlife reserve. We drove across savannah grasslands and scrublands in Lake Mburu and Queen Elizabeth Parks (lions, elephants, zebra, kob, warthogs), hiked a crater lake and plantain grove near the Rwenzori Mountains (black and white colubus, red colubus, hornbill), tight-roped across logs spanning a river in the Chamburu Gorge (chimpanzees), visited hot springs in a unique lowland tropical rainforest, and did boat rides on Lake Mburu and the Kazinga Channel between Lakes Edward and George (hippos, Cape Buffalo, fish eagles). We ended the trip with a fantastic night drive in Semliki Nature Reserve under a sky full of stars (leopard, Nile croc, puff adder). We were very lucky with weather and sightings.
