        The Jetstream 31 is a 18 to 19 passenger twin turbo-prop
regional airliner. It's purpose is to ferry passengers from the
smaller airports to the bigger airports so that they can make
connections to bigger cities and back again. It also does quite
nicely in connecting the smaller airports with each other.

TW Express, TWA's regional commuter service is operated by Trans
States Airlines. Trans States Airlines operates a fleet of 6 ATR42s,
3 ATR72s, 34 J31s and 25 J41s. Hub airports are Saint Louis,
Missouri, New York, New York, and Los Angeles, California. The
corporate headquarters and operations are based at Saint Louis,
Missouri. Trans States Airlines is the 7th largest regional airline
in the United States.

Installation:

Unzip all files to a temporary directory. Then...

FS98:

1. Copy the Twej31v3 folder to your FS98 aircraft folder.

*Notes: The Flight Shop Aircraft and Adventure Converter for FS98
must be installed. This aircraft looks best (IMHO) in FS98 in 3D
full screen mode with MIP mapping turned off.

1. Unzip the fs5.zip file to a temporary folder.

2. Use the Microsoft Aircraft and Adventure Converter for FSFW95
to convert the files.

FS5:

1. Unzip the fs5.zip file to a temporary folder.

2. Copy the Twej31v3.air file to your FS5 Pilots folder.

3. Copy the texture files Twej31v3.0af thru Twej31v3.9af to your FS5
Textures folder.

Aircraft Data:

The Jetstream 31 is powered by two Garrett TPE331-10UF
turbo-prop engines rated at 940 shaft horse power each.
It has a maximum take off weight of 15,212 lbs. This
is with 18 passengers and enough fuel to carry it about
        675 nm.

        Wing span....................52 ft.
        Aspect ratio.................10.00
        Length overall...............47 ft.
        Height overall...............17 ft. 5 in.
Max cruise speed.............263 kts. TAS @ 15,000 ft.
        Certified Ceiling............25,000 ft.
        Runway length t/o............4,690 ft.
        Runway length landing........4,030 ft.
        Clean stall..................111 kts.
Dirty stall (flaps & gear)...96 kts.

        V1 Vr V2 Weight Vref
        108 110 115 15,212 lbs 125 kts.

These speeds were compiled at Cyber Air's Skunk Field (CSW)
outside of Rockford, Il. with the temperature at 51 degrees F.
        And altimeter setting of 29.92.

Due to the limitations of FSFS, that is to say that it
doesn't support turbo-props very well, I've set this
aircraft to work with a jet panel.
