************* Air Wisconsin DeHavilland Canada DHC-7-102 *************

Original design by: Barry Blaisdell
Air Wisconsin repaint by: Michael Pickney

Appleton, Wisconsin based Air Wisconsin began flight operations in
1965 by providing nonstop flights between Appleton, WI and Chicago's
O'Hare airport. In the years that followed Air Wisconsin achieved
recognition as one of the nation's fastest growing regional carriers.
The DeHavilland Canada Dash-7-102 is a 50 passenger STOL regional
airliner. This aircraft, N709ZW represents one of ten Dash-7's that
were operated by the airline between 1979 and 1987. The Dash-7's were
eventually replaced in favor of the Fokker F-27. Air Wisconsin
continues to operate today as a United Express regional carrier under
a code-sharing agreement with United Airlines.
